New Allies? (Eren, Private)
Timestamp: 50th of Ponitus, in the season of Winter, Era 1 of the Celestial Mandate, Era XV PF
Wandering in the prime countryside one day, the saurid that now went by the name Yuthak instead of Pescado, though he sometimes refers to himself as Pescado too, found an enormous area of land, one which he was curious as to why it was just sitting there in the middle of no where. Taking a step onto it, he thought about it for a moment, but then continued his walk through the land that was before him. The mystic was quite content with his walk this day, and not bothered by anyone.
His metallic tail seemed to wave and sway behind the saurid, and his feet felt quite cold from the winter's air, but not seeming to be affected by the cold, as he had grown used to it. His old banker's uniform from Demios kept him quite warm, the only problem being his feet. Slow and sluggish, as all saurids generally got when it was cold, the mystic made his way along the stretch of land, until he got to a simple spot. As he did this, he began to meditate, and enter a state of Clara. This would be the perfect spot to practice some of my techniques, he thought, and then just decided to sit in his Clara for a bit...

Two pairs of almond emerald eyes watched the Saurid trek their way across his land. The dot in the sky that was mistakably a bird but –not- a bird stared down at the figure, the metallic gleam of his tail glinting light back upwards and into the air. Almost enough to disgruntle the Elementalist. Almost.
Shielding his eyes, he watched as Pescado journeyed across a few acres. This was rather unusual, he had to consider, doubly so in the sense that this Saurid was not the first to wander upon his lands unannounced. Had Eren not fallen from grace with Phedos, he might have attributed the coincidence to a divine plan of faith and strategy. Fortunately, he now thought of it as little more than mere chance.
And so as Pescado began to enter Clara, the Syl’rosyian Elflord decided it was time to make an appearance. After all, he knew not what sphere the Saurid practiced, and was not a fan of random individuals trespassing upon his property only to blow it all to smithereens. Tsking beneath his breath, hard leather boots stomped on the ground a bit, skirting the length of his knees. Black pants matched a black leather jacket that hung comfortably from his shoulders, sleeves rolled up to the cusp of his elbows. Short, brown unkempt hair matched tanned features and a thin smile played his lips as he approached the Saurid.
“Serale. Interesting tail. May I help you?” he asked briefly, unabashed by the sudden greeting or appearance. Walking right up to the Elf in long, powerful strides, he held out his hand for a handshake – testing the man’s security. “Erenthril,” he spoke simply, his own name, but the word to be inferred however Pesc…or Yuthak, inferred it.

Having entered his Clara, and sitting there for a moment within it, he heard a voice. Looking up for the source of the voice that begged a question of helping the saurid, what he saw was almost amazing, and stunning all at once. His eyes interpretation of the Vis coming off of Erenthril was enormous, much to say, immense. The blue aura encased even Pescado's own Vis, and the Ara around him. It was an incredible amount of power. The last time he had seen something like this was with Motito, whom was an archmage at one point, and the same with Duncan, who also had attained the rank of archmage when he met him. This man must be one, without a doubt, thought the saurid.
Standing up, and retreating from his Clara, his green eyes laid their focus upon the elf that approached him, and he stood up, his metallic tail swaying a bit as he positioned himself normally, standing upright, with his tail about six inches off of the ground. Could he help him? Would the mage be able to help the soon to be master? What did he need help with? Finding himself amongst the many minds that now inhabited his own. Pushing their forbidden memories into the back of his mind, the mystical saurid looked up towards this "Erenthril", and then said, "My tail isssss interesssssting, perhapsssss I could tell you the sssssstory of how i aquired it at sssssome point... Ah but yesssss, can you help me... I'm not ssssssure, where exssssactly am I? And how might you be able to help me?" As he spoke, his speech was a bit broken up, and they way he was speaking came out strange, as a side effect of having a few minds inside his own...

Erenthriled eyed the Saurid a bit, studying him intently and watching as the metallic tail behind the man swayed back and forth. It truly was rather…interesting, and he’d have liked to have heard the story. But the Saurid’s words took them elsewhere, and he steadied his weight on the ground as he eyed the mystical being squarely. It was obvious to the Archmage that Pescado was indeed a Mage, a journeyman so to speak, and judging from his initial expressions he’d recognized Eren for what he was. Not that the Syl’rosyian Elflord particularly minded, it was all irrelevant so to speak to what the Saurid asked anyways.
“A name is usually nice,” he winked before returning his hand to his pocket, almond eyes glancing around and taking in the immediate countryside. He sure had purchased a nice piece of real estate, that was for certain. “You’re standing on fifteen acres of land I happen to own, here in the Primus Countryside. The Aedile of Prime called it the Treachery Bay Annex, presumably located over there,” he pointed off to the distance to their northeast, where a few craggy cliffsides hung in suspension before dropping like a precipice into a small cerulean blue cove.
OOCSorry for the crummy post…just got a new laptop, went from PC to Mac, so it’s all a bit different still!

A name? Was this fleshling serious, though he was an archmage. The saurid sat in silence for a moment, and then let his sideways glance fall upon the elflord that stood before him. "Yuthak isssss the name i go by..." he said, not giving away either of his original two names, due to the fact that there was no reason why he should go by anything other than Yuthak the devourer for now. "Yesssss, that isssss my name, and thisssss issss your land. Very nicssssse land. Why do you ssssssuppossssse it isssss called the Treachery Bay Annex?" he asked. Letting his tail sway back and forth, relaxing himself a bit as he did that, he'd continue to keep his eyes gazing upon the archmage in front of him...

Erenthril sort of ‘hmmphed’ aloud for a moment, impressed by the simplicity and yet complexity of the question just posed. “Well Yukath, I’m not quite sure,” he murmured, stroking his chin thoughtfully before tapping it and peering past the Saurid’s figure to view the bay in question. It was rather far away, but he’d seen it before. Hashing through memory, he tried to recall what it looked like…the rocks…the crags… “I’ve never really thought of it.”
He scratched the back of his neck and glanced around, taking in the environment and breathing in the air deeply. It was obvious the Saurid in front of him was a mage, but Eren neither cared enough nor was curious enough to discern what type. The residue of the arcanic contamination lingering about the Saurid’s frame or perhaps any enchantments on his person might tell otherwise, but for now the Elementalist was merely content to keep things simple.
“If I had to guess, probably because the coastline is particularly rocky and dangerous to navigate. But it could have been anything. I was going to build a Chateau here, you know,” he confessed with a light hearted smile, crossing his arms in front of him and shifting his weight from his left foot to his right.

Listening as the elf hmphed, the saurid almost wanted to do it back, as a sign of retort, and not wanting to really deal with elves at that moment. But at the same time, he couldn't help but be intrigued that an archmage was standing before him. The saurid had only ever met two others, and both were now only master or lower due to some random accident or something of the sort. Looking towards the elf, and then gazing back over the crags, towards the ocean that lay before them, he thought of a house being built here.
Rather, a Chateau. "Interesssssting placsssssse for a creation ssssssuch asssss that..." he commented, then turned his snakelike head back to face Erenthril. "The location will sssssuit the building nicsssssely. A good view of the ssssseassss of Telath here... I can ssssssee why you chossssse it. Ssssssso, what isssss thisssss Chataeu to be usssssed for? You're persssssonal living ssssspacssssse? a guild or faction of ssssssome ssssssort?" he asked, his inquizzitive side starting to get the best of his mind...

Erenthril nodded and shook his head consecutively. "Yes, the Chateau will have a good view of the seas. I dilly-dallied on the location a bit though, and ultimately had a last second change of heart. Kind of got used to those, you know...is why I'm here, really," he spoke rather vaguely to the Saurid, tossing a sidelong stare at Yukath, eyes drifting momentarily to examine the metal tail that swung so languidly behind the lizardman's figure.
"It'll be my primary living residence. Most likely will open it up to a few close friends... that sort of thing. I've kicked around the idea of starting up a faction of sorts for progression in the Empire and whatnot, but haven't really dipped my toe too far in the water just yet. Besides, what's up with the metal tail?" he asked inquisitively, dodging topics and changing subjects as quickly as he blinked, which was rather often, all things considered, almond eyes fleetingly traveling from the metal tip to the Saurid's reptilian face.

What's up with the metal tail? thought the saurid. Is this guy serious? Looking towards him, with a sidelong glance, he then said, "My original tail was ripped off some eras ago, ssssso, i had it replacsssssed with a more durable, and ssssstronger facter. A metallic tail. The golem maker wasssss quite talented, and although it wasssss quite a treck to get to him, and an adventure in itsssself, i managed it. He replacsssssed my tail with little problem, creating a golem out of it. Sssssso, it ssssseemsssss to have a mind of itsssss own, and doesssss what it feelssssss like at timessss..." After he responded, he then looked towards the Archmagi. "Sssssso, what'sssss up with the expanded Visssss range? An Archmagi by chancssssse?" he asked, having only seen two others in his lifetimes, and knowing the expanse of their vis ranges...
