Riding south (PM to join)
6th Brightening of the First Cycle of the Month of Melora in the season of Spring; Era II of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIV Post Fractum.
At dawn he rode. He rode the road to Daltina, the first stop in his journey to the far away city of Mystique in the Lylles Kingdom of Lauryl. He had been given a mission in the other side of the Empire and he would carry it out. He rode a Carmelyan Warsteed he had got from Calvin in the Legion's stables. A pure black beauty by the name of Arthalof. The horse's behaviour was much alike of its rider's. Calm and stern, fierce and cold. On the back of his saddle the rider took his belongings. Bags containing what food and water he would need, a tent and a bedroll, a messkit, some bandages, a rope, a flask of oil, a piece of chalk and a folded backpack he could use later on. On another bag he carried a longbow and arrows inside a sheath. In his right hand he wielded a spear and from his backs over his long green cloak pended his kite shield. From his belt hanged a scabbard containing his longsword. Wearing a scalemail and having his long red hairs coming out of his face helmet and flitting in the morning breeze the rider took the road to Daltina.
He was prepared for whatever could happen in his journey as never had he travelled so great distance before. Nor had he done it on horseback. Thankfully the man who had sent him West had provided him everything he needed. Hopefully he wouldn't need half of the things he carried with him. But a prepared man was a long lived man.
The Twin Suns' light made the Vagaran's shadow stretch on the road. The fresh morning with its caracteristic sound greeted the soldier as he rode.
Eyvind "Redbeard" Avornmagor rode. He rode to his destiny.

For a few brightenings everything was calm, and quiet. There was nothing amiss whatsoever and the Senior Legionnaire's journey went peacefully. Unfortunately he had taken a Carmelyan Warsteed, a beast bred for short bursts of tremendous power, but not an animal meant for traveling long distances. It made the going slow, as he couldn't ride the horse too hard for any amount of time. Nevertheless, it was still faster than walking.
It was the third brightening of his trip, and he would be reaching the Charisma Pass the next brightening around noon at his current pace. The road to Daltina wound it's way past farms with fields full of wheat and barley, past forests, and over rivers. Many a homestead had been passed in the short journey that the soldier had taken thus far, and at every stop he had found people willing to help a defender of the Empire.
It was such a homestead he found as he rounded a bend in the King's highway, with his massive mount breathing heavily from the continual exertion of the ride, a test of endurance that it had not been bred for. The small forest he had been traveling along was juxtaposed by the cottage that Eyvind found himself going by.
The building seemed to be constructed of brambles and fallen wood, somehow interwoven together by some means that simply wasn't natural. Thick moss grew on the outer walls, and despite it being a sunny and cloudless morning the green moss seemed to glow, creating a halo of light around the cottage. There were no fences, no other buildings, and the land looked as though it hadn't been farmed in eras. Wild shrubs and tall grasses grew all over the land. Trees from the forest did not seem willing to grow on that land, instead an entirely different type of tree grew there.
A single willow, silvered with age grew on the land. It was so large that ten men would not be able to touch hands around it's base, and it shot up twenty feet into the air. However, despite it's apparent age, it showed no signs of wear from the world. There were no knots or wrinkles in it's surface, no holes from insects or animals burrowing in. In fact the entire land encompassing the tree and homestead seemed to be bereft of all wildlife.
As Eyvind passed by a young girl, perhaps only fourteen or fifteen ordinations old, stuck her head out an opening in one wall that was covered with draping vines - a makeshift window. Her eyes were the colour of the sea and her hair was a brilliant blond colour, shining more radiantly than the suns themselves. Her skin was a milky white colour, supple, and tight. She was a Vagaran, like Eyvind himself. A lilting voice emanated from her lips, like sweet honey, "Soldier, why don't you rest your horse for just a while? Come in here, let me refresh you. It's the least I could do." A seductive smile curled up onto her face, her full red lips revealing pearly white teeth. She seemed to glow, just like the house did.

What an enormous willow. Eyvind realized this was probably the largest tree he had ever seen. He had seen tall pine trees in the Northern shores of the Hinterlands but never with trunk as large as this one. The tree didn't seemed natural as it didn't seem touched by time or nature itself. One could consider this a perfect tree.
As the Vagaran looked to the house he noticed it didn't seen normal as well. Brambles and fallen wood wasn't exactly what one would chose to build a house. At least Eyvind wouldn't. Anyway the house wasn't abandoned as the Senior Legionnaire saw as a girl popped from a window. Her smile was beautiful and her proposal happily accepted. Eyvind was tired from his journey and so was Arthalof. The horse was a powerful mount but wasn't prepared for such a journey, luckily by the time of his return the Carmelyan Warsteed would be more than fine and already used to the road.
"Serale!"
He greeted and unmounted the horse. Removig his face helmet Eyvind smiled back to the girl.
"What does a beautiful lady like yourself alone in a place like this?"
He asked.

She smiled ruefully at Eyvind and then disappeared from the window. Mere seconds later a door that had seamlessly joined with the house opened itself and a green glow emanated from within, similar to the glow that radiated the house from without. The blonde woman's voice floated out from the entrance, "Come in soldier, let me refresh you. Where are you traveling to?"
When Eyvind walked into the house he would find that the floor was covered in the same moss that had been on the walls outside, and that there was a division of bramble which split the homestead in half. A large silver root served as something of a table in the middle of the room.
Upon it, with her legs crossed, sat the naked young girl. Her golden hair was draped over her shoulders, covering her breasts. Her skin was soft and supple, milky white in completion. She smiled at Eyvind and her eyes locked onto his, "What can I get for you?"

Tieing the Arthalof's bridle to a branch of the house's wall. Patting the Carmelyan Warsteed's neck the Senior Legionnaire walked to the open door from where a green glow seemed to come. Was it magical? Maybe, but it didn't look harmful so he walked in. His boots stepped in the moss that made the floor and the Vagaran realized this was rather a good idea, using moss instead of a carpet that is.
"I am travelling to Mystique..."
He said without thinking in any possible consequences.
He had followed the green glow as if it had been a beacon. Now he saw the young girl sitting on what seemed to be a large silver root, the only furniture he had seen until now. Was it a table? Probably. But there was something disturbant, the girl was completely naked! It seemed her hair was her cloth.
Eyvind remembered her ruefully smile as she reentered the house moments before. Maybe she was all alone and in need of care. The Vagaran shook his head.
"Why are you naked?"
He asked while turning his face to look away.

The girl simply smiled and said, "Aren't you a silly little boy." She pushed herself off the make-shift table and walked toward Eyvind, her hips swaying as she came. When she got to him her hand ran down his chest and her lips curled up in a devilish smirk, "Let me make you a man."
With an almost unbelievable amount of strength her hands pulled him down to her level by the colour and she kissed him roughly. Backing off a few feet she laid herself down on the mossy floor, her hand above her head and one leg bent, "Make me a woman."
An inexplicable force vibrated throughout the air, making everything seem all the more sensual. It was a force that would make primal urges rise to the surface of the most stoic of individuals.
