Sorry for the delay. Been really busy lately.

Here is the land itself, not the house or barn. Still working on those.

So, take a gander and see what you think. I know it's rough, and I'm terrible at doing locations, so this is open to any and all suggestions and rewrites as you all think nescessary.

Along the western edge of the Blackwoods sat a worn down old farmstead. Fifteen acres of lush green grass sprawled out from the woods, a three railed fence, badly in need of repair, stretched around the perimeter of the property. Here and there, the land was spotted with trees, most large oaks that stood proudly, even if a bit lonesome. There was, however, one of note.

A wonderful specimen of age and sheer size, the mighty oak stood regally, it's limbs stretched out, providing complete shade to the small pond beneath it. It boasted many branches worthy of climbing, some even large enough to lounge comfortably on. It's trunk was massive, and 7 grown men, hand in hand, would barely encircle it. Below, from between its roots, a spring gurlged forth, feeding the pond with crystal clear water. Cat-tails adorned one edge of the pond, serving as home to a small "family" of frogs.

I suck at borders and such, but this gives the place some detail. By all means add stuff that will help bring life to our new home. It'll make for an even greater write up once we clean the place up

Along the western edge of the Blackwoods just south of ClawKnight Tower sat a worn down old farmstead. The home was a two story complex with old white paint that had begun to flake away from lack of attention and the heat of the suns. The entire home had a wrap around porch that came out fifteen feet with a sloped roof off of the first level supported by six inch by six inch trunks. Windows dotted the place on both floors from each room inside the house most of which were now cracked and unclean.

The home itself was fifty eight hundred square feet with a living room, dining room, office, kitchen, and main floor master bedroom downstairs. The upstairs was divided between the six remaining bedrooms. In the center of the home was a spiral stair case. Each bedroom, the living room, and the office had a fireplace to keep the home warm during the winter. The kitchen was large enough for a staff of three to cook complete with stove, smoking oven, counters, and cabinets.

To the southwest of the home was a ten stall barn with an upper loft. The center of the barn capable of holding a six person carraige and a working pull wagon. To the west of barn was a mangled chicken coop and fencing to indicate a pig troth and pen.

One majestic oak, A wonderful specimen of age and sheer size, stood regally with it's limbs stretched out providing complete shade to the small pond beneath it. It boasted many branches worthy of climbing, some even large enough to lounge comfortably on. It's trunk was so massive that seven grown katta, hand in hand, would barely encircle it. Below the tree from between its roots, a spring gurlged forth feeding the pond with crystal clear water. Cat-tails adorned one edge of the pond, serving as home to a small "family" of frogs. The pond was circular with a distance of twenty five feet.

Beyond the fence line of the home were rolling green fields with a tree standing solo every now and again. Bushes dotted the hills and were home to foxes and rabits. One thousand acres of this open range belonged to the new home owners, Parreyon Syndicus and The Kaar'Praaii Pride.

Regretfully, because of problems currently plaquing me in my life, I'm finding that I need to spend more time dealing with them and less time playing.

Shaz and Kati are taking a minor leave of abscence at the moment, and I spoke with Ravaska who is planning on coming out of retirement at some point this month (she wants to catch up on a few things first).

I also have a few new PCs wanting to come into the family as well. A female pantheri (a cousin to Parr) and a lionoid ... so hope to get them involved soon.

I'm available if anyone wants to do a thread or two. I think someone needs to work on the farm post too since it hasn't been completed and posted up yet. Does anyone mind if I tackle that? Or did I miss it getting done completely? I know there might be some changes soon to it... but let me know either way.

I'm glad I was only gone a few months. I need to still think of a way to explain my OOC. I think I will get with Rath's mod and see if I can't explain it as part of my job there.

No one has taken on the farm so pounce on it.

Hello Ravaska and Kati.

I'll let you know now that I deleted the posts in the joining Pride thread since that is not the place for such things to take place. We all have lives outside of Aelyria that dictate actions we do in this game. I've had a few of them over the years that has caused me to step away or temporarily retire. It happens and the community know this happens and accepts it as part of the game. We move on, apologize when necessary, forgive if necessary, and have fun!

Kati - I'm sorry you're leaving us/retiring. I would be glad to have you back if you chose to unreitre in the future. Enjoy the game above all else
