The Triangular eye-Sore (Vincent's Office/Tent)

[Vincent Stefan]

It was a Tent, there was no other way to describe it. Some what larger then most tent's held up by wood. Within, there was enough room for a bed, a desk, and some sitting chairs. Yet, that was where the comfort ended. The place was drafty and the makeshift door, was stuck more times then not. people who reportedly had to come to Vincent's office on a regular basis, where said to have pain's in there right shoulders. This was largely due to the only way to get the door to the office/Tent unstuck.

If the half elf was in he would most likely, be siting behind his desk, his pet raven on a T bar not far from it's masters side. If he was not home then the door would be locked, and no amount of banging or ramming would fix that.

Walking back into his tent, Vincent all but fell into the chair that sat just behind his desk. The half elf had spent yet another day watching the men practice. Vincent could not help but be reminded of two peaple on horse back colliding with one another, the results would be almost the same. Yet for all there faults, they where willing to learn and that in itself was worth something.

Looking down for the first time, Vincent almost missed his old stack of papers which always seamed to be on his desk back in Taralon. Here he was not really necessary and that kind of saddened him. In Taralon he had felt important, useful Here in paxia he felt used, Alone. As if sensing his thoughts a Yell to his right brought the half elf back from his silent musings.

Looking up and to the right Vincents eye fell on his pet Raven Shadow. Perhaps he was not as alone as he had thought. Together the two of them had taken on the world and if need be he would do so again. Leaning back in his chair, the half elf pored himself some tea from a Tea Pot on his desk. The tea pot was the only item that Vincent was very specific on in his tent, if the pot where missing on any day, or failed to be refilled the galley staff would be very sorry indeed.

With cup in hand, the half elf sipped at the brown liquid inside and began to consider what his options where. There had to be a way to take back his life from both these men.

Another letter was on delivered by the mage that arrived at Provost Drake's tent. This letter was addressed to Vincent.

The letter read:

To Provost Vincent Stefan

Serale. Recent events have prompted me to send you this letter. Somewhere in Junctior, a letter had been send to both me and Imperatis Saddon. I believe that this letter may help you further understand Provosh Elsdragon. I have attached a copy.

No action was taken by either Imperatis Saddon or by me with respect to the letter. We believe in our men in their ability to act with integrity. If Provost Elsdragon ever threaten you with what was written in the letter, do not worry for I will give you the support that you need.

I have my own theories of why such a letter was written but I will let you yourself form you own.

Another letter was found and it read:

Secrets : To: Provost Imperatis Sheng Kaldres From: Provost Keldon Elsdragon Greetings Sir, I send this letter with perhaps a concerned heart. Not for myself however for a member of the Imperial Legion who I have personal doubts in regards to there ability to command. Or more so there ability to command with the Empire's interests in mind. During my visit to the city of Taralon I had the experience to meet Cencoris Vincent Stefan of the Taralon Ninth Legion. The meeting was something I will remember for sometime. However after recalling the name and the person it was associated with I decided to give the Cencoris the benefit of the doubt. However after interacting with him I have grown concerned. Which is why I have dispatched this missive in my stead while I am on route to Aelyria Prime. Cencoris Stefan seems to question his ability to lead due to the actions taken during combat. Which is understandable, anyone who has dealt with combat seldom have pleasant memories. However the way that he cited his experiences had a tone of distaste not only for how those orders where carried out but why, and a tone of doubt towards that of his commanders. It also raised another question when he approached me with a request to return to Aelyria Prime as an escort to seek out a missing friend who was supposed to be assigned as his Executive Officer. Although in normal circumstances I would have granted such a request, it was not until I learned that the missing man in question is a man by the name Magnus. Who served under his previous command, and his mercenary organization. Which strikes me slightly odd that after the group were arrested for treason that he would be placed under his command once more. Perhaps it is because I am new to the Imperial Legions that I see something that is truely not there. However after conversation and interaction with the Cencoris I can not help but put aside the concern that he is, or has already re-established some form of his former organization either within the Taralon's Ninth Legion itself, or on a external level. However I believe it is my duty to forward these concerns to yourself as I am to understand you are the sole reason why he has not met the hanging tree. I have also taken the liberty to forward a copy of this missive to his commanding officer.
