[Forest of Dreams] Can a Man Dream of Magical Things?
Timestamp: Ioannolia, Fourth Cycle of the Month of Imperos. Autumn, Era XIV Post Fractum
The last shards of summer were just disappearing, and the air was still warm as an elf walked the outskirts of the city. He was plainly garbed in gray clothes, and was heading towards the lush green hills to the east. In the morning sun, the various vapors were still feeding the forest with its mysterious mists.
From the few people he had asked, Eirildan gathered that the Forest of Dreams was a place of wonder and, most certainly, danger. Apparently the fog that collected around the place was accused of producing hallucinating images. Thus, when the Esh'lahier had stepped upon the first eaves of the trees, he grew hesitant and paused.
Indeed, there was something in the air of the forest that made him want to enter it, as if a lady seducing one closer. Most certainly, even in the dawn the woods were alive with movement - Eirildan could hear critters and creatures moving above, around, and even below him.
Still, despite his hesitation, he stepped into the forest. He knew not if he would succeed in his goal. Yet from the rumors that fled across Zinn'Sunn, there were Kirin that roamed this most strange of forests. Perhaps, yes, he would find what, or who, he wanted - a master of the forests, a Druid who could teach him the arts of the arcane that permeated nature.
