~*| The Three Sisters Geysers |*~

Description:
Deep within The Forest of Dreams lies a series of clearings that contain some of the most unusual features in Lauryl Province. Geysers dot the land, erupting like mini volcanoes systematically and routinely, spewing an odd vapor into the air that tends to drift freely throughout The Forest of Dreams, taking a very very long time to dispel. The vapors, rumor has it, smell like cinnamon and sulphur, invoking equal measures of pleasure and disgust. The natives avoid these 'mists' because to breath them is to invoke lucid waking dreams that can lock a person into them and ultimately lead to their death (due to inattention to the normal world).
Among these Geysers lies a monster among monsters. Housing three vents, and three towers, this uniquely large triad of Geysers are fondly known as The Three Sisters. Many legends abound around them... some stating they were once real women who ventured together into The Forest Of Dreams to explore and gather herbs. These women survived, faced with stumbling onto the mists and ultimately into the valley of Geysers where they froze in confusion and were transformed into Geysers themselves. Other legends tell that the Geysers were formed during an epic battle of wills between two serpents... ancient dragons of old, though to be honest, no one really knows the truth.
The only given is that The Three Sisters are the largest, most active of the Geysers... and their vapors cause dreams. Other, darker stories say that the beasts of The Forest of Dreams, when faced with long-term exposure, are transformed... slowly... into humans or nearhumans, and their boodlines have mingled with the bloodlines of the Kemites over time, bringing them closer to the land, and closer still to the Goddess Sa'saln. These creatures, though rarely seen, often have a combination of both their original beast form, and their new more human looking one. Some retain fur, some wings, some horns... all are feral, bestial, and are slow to come into their intelligence when found. Kemite hunters are quick to kill them, though ultimately some survive. Those that do survive are called The Salneri... or children of Sa'saln.
