The Outlands

The Hills around Zinn’Sunn are dominated by an enormous low-slung white marble fortress called The Sunn Monastery which overlooks the city to the north. This ancient Kemite monastery is home to the Sunn Monks. Considered peaceful introverts, the Sunn Monks are practitioners of Ataa, an incredibly beautiful form of combative dance with deep rooted traditions in Zinn’ka. They are also students in the pathway of meditation and philosophy. The Sunn Hills are also home to a few select estates and a vast number of horse farms that Zinn’Sunn and its citizens pride themselves on. To the west, on Zinn Hill, is the enormous Zinn’Sunn Observatory which is home to the infamous Stargazers. Dotting the landscape around the city are a select number of orchards, rice patty terraces, wineries, and farms which supply the city also. A road leading northwest leads to the Cambrian Dalsami Jade Mine. To the west, a forest rises up into the distance. It's a place of mystery and grave danger, considered forbidden by most.
