Description:

Located east of Zinn'Sunn a legend springs from the rolling hills, lush and emerald green in its unique beauty. The Forest of Dreams is a mystical region that gets its name from a series of bubbling pools and geysers that produce a rather unique vapor that coats the forest in odd mists that are thought to produce hallucinogenic effects when inhaled. The forest isn't always covered with mist, but as a result of its bubbling geysers the Forest of Dreams is home to a whole plethora of unique denizens. Kirin roam its depths, as do small uniquely scaled lizards that look like dragons in miniature. Bat-winged horses that have a speckling of scales and long sleek muscular tails float above the forest, dominating its skies. Humanoids roam there too, tall shaggy creatures that look like men but whom are not at all. Sleek glittering serpents coil in trees while flowers bloom on the forest floor that have such potent scents that rumors claim can bring the hardest man to tears over its essence. Fruit grows there, forbidden and darkly whispered about. It's said to eat in the forest is to invite a changes in ones self that are unexpected and not entirely welcome.

The Forest of Dreams is dangerous and in many cultures considered forbidden.

Secrets : Name: The White Kirin ~Kirin by Neondragon @ neondragonart.com Race, Age & Gender: Kirin, unknown age, female Physical Description, History & Behavior: Though rarely seen, the white kirin keeps its presence in the forest well known. Travelers that venture into its depths, they often see its glowing hoofprints leading them away and outward, away from the heart of the forest. One of the most magnificent and admired of creatures in the legends of the Kemite is the Kirin. While she at times been compared to a unicorn, she are not entirely the same. It is said that the White Kirin is indeed horselike, save her tail is oxlike, and her body partially scaled. She has one single golden horn that curls from her forehead backsweeping across her skull, which blends into her magnificent mane and tail. The White Kirin can speak Common easily, and is said to possess telepathy as well. She can sense when someone is telling them the truth as she know it or when someone is willingly trying to mislead them. To know her name is to have power over her, thus she never gives her true name. The White Kirin is extremely gentle and appreciative of all life, careful never to tread upon living things wherever she goes. The White Kirin never take an innocent life, although she may become truly fearsome in order to defend lives. She has been known to become a fierce creature howling and breathing fire, as well as other unique abilities that vary from story to story. It is said that the white kirin will not appear to folks who are without honor. Indeed, to become the warlord of Zinn'Sunn, a candidate must venture into this forest, with witnesses, and be approached by the Kirin to be allowed to assume leadership of the city. The White Kirin is known for protecting the young and young at heart, and she has no tolerance for those who abuse them. It is not known if she is the only one... or just some sort of herald of her people. Skills: While wholly unknown, its thought that the Kirin has mystical gifts and access to powers yet untapped.
