The 1st Month of Imperos in the Season of Autumn, Era II of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIV Post Fractum
: Inside the Great Hall :
The Great Hall is a busy pool of bodies all going about at a much more hectic pace. Leaders are producing messages and couriers are scurrying out the door to deliver them. The increased pace is due to the greater number of forces gathering in the provence by the brightening. Military forces need to be recruited, mustered, trained, equipped, and positioned to guarantee Orckon's hold over their new lands.
One aide is scratching orders handed to him onto parchment scrolls and handing them to runners as he completes them...
"Runner!" the orc aide bellows. "Narim" is all that he says as the runner takes the message:

An orc hurries in covered in dust. He had just returned from a hard ride from Narim. He beats his chest with his right hand in salute then hands over the scroll to the desk orc.

Gothmog,
All preparations in Narim have been made. Fortifications complete. Scouts report Imperial unrest in Daltina to the north. Confirms suspicions that enemy forces are massing there.
Reports of probing efforts near Autumnus. No more information available.
Imperial Navy blockading incoming ships to Narim. Not known how many. My envoys returned reporting payment to BMR captain. Says support is given for 3 months hence.
A vysstichi arrives inside the Great Hall, much more civilized and graceful than the other runners that had come and gone. This one seemed to be on his own time. Handing over another scroll to the orc at the desk.
"Gimme that!" the orc said snatching the scroll from the vysstichi. The dark elf simply turned up a nose and turned to exit the Hall.

Another set of orders has been given to the clerk. He quickly scribbles the message and stamps the Gothmog Kitot's seal.
"Runner!" he bellows. "Send to Narim Castellum"

Era II of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIV Post Fractum
To: Commander Narim Castellum
Gothmog Kitot orders all food and military war spoils in the surrounding territory of the Castellum west toward Narim that have not already been consumed or sold, to be redirected to aide in outfitting the new forces that are completing their training at the Castellum.
You may use all means necessary to bring such supplies to the recruits. Orders are being sent to the Shatroful Onreinn to expedite shipments from Orckon to you to be used in outfitting the hordes.
Advise when local food stuffs or armaments are no longer available.
The footsteps of yet another messenger sounds as a vysstichi makes his way up to the orc clerk. "From Autumnus" he said then quickly turned and walked away.
The orc clerk took the message and read:
Secrets :
Brightening 3, Cycle 3, in the Month of Imperos, in the Season of Autumn, Era II of the Celestine Mandate,

To Gothomog Kitot of Orckon:

Brightening 5, Cycle 3, in the Month of Imperos, in the Season of Autumn, Era II of the Celestine Mandate,
Era XIV Post Fractum
There came an orc running into the Great Hall half out of breath. He had ran all the way from Autumnus to deliver a message from the commander there directly to the City Master.
"Gothmog Autumnus... hab message... fer Gothmog Kitot!" he said panting.
"Jus' gib it to me an' be off!" the desk clerk replied.
"Nar! Da Gothmog Autumnus said gib message by mouth ta Gothmog Kitot!"
The clerk just realized that this message had to be important. The commander of Autumnus would not have sent a voice messenger unless it was important enough to warrant an audience with the Gothmog Kitot.
"Go there." the clerk said pointing behind him toward the main meeting hall where the Gothmog Kitot spent most of his time.
The orc obeyed and went into the great hall. The desk clerk sat scratching upon a parchment while there was a brief silence. Then came a roar. Several voices rang out from the hall as orcs growled and orders were being shouted out. The messenger orc came running out of the hall past the desk clerk then back out the door. He was on his way to the Narim Castellum.
The gate guard, Lat came strolling into the Great Hall holding a message that he was sure would bring him recognition that he was convinced that he deserved. He had just captured an enemy messenger (at least that was his version) and was about to present the message to the Gothmog Kitot himself.
The desk orc looked up expecting the orc to hand him the message but Lat confidently strode right past the desk and walked right into the great hall itself. Some Fos Rog stopped Lat half way across the hall from Grogan Thrag. The Gothmog Kitot looked up from what he was doing then raised an eyebrow. What would bring the gate guard into the Great Hall unless it was soemthing worth dying over.
"Dis better be good." the Fos Rog said to Lat after the gothmog waved him over.
Lat delivered the message and Grogan immediately read it. Pausing a moment, he looked up at Lat. "Where da messenger dat carried dis?"
Lat pushed out his chest with pride and replied, "Lat hab him locked up an..."
Grogan cut him off not letting him finish. "Bring him here an' prepare him ta take Grogan's reply."
The gothmog had just freed the prisoner that Lat thought would get him recognition. Deflating his chest, the orc turned and left the hall to retrieve the messenger. Once returning, Grogan had prepared a written response and assigned a single Fos Rog orc to deliver it along with the messenger back to Imperial lines.
Looking at the Fos Rog, "Like said, take prisoner an' message to da Northern Front. Wait der an' meet da ship dat dis shara lead ju to. Deliver Grogan's message."
The Fos Rog thumped his chest and left the Great Hall with the messenger in tow.
