As you walk through the trade district westward, just before you reach the west outer wall of the city, you come upon a rocky outcropping. In the face of these rocks is a dark entrance guarded by two brute orcs wearing nothing but tan trousers and an axe hooked to their belts. They do not allow any to approach without stopping to question your intentions.
"Whud lat wan' wit da Shatroful Onreinn?" one orc asks.
Many businesses have come and many businesses have crumbled trying to compete in this city all with the lure of great power and wealth if only they can get a toe-hold within the city walls. The main obstacle they all face is not finding customers but fighting the competition. The Shatroful Onreinn have a long history in Orckon and are known by all to be the main trade guild in the city. They were chosen by the City Master to handle all trade with the outside world. The Shatroful Onreinn are tasked with the responsibility of transporting the imports and exports to and from Orckon safely and with as little skimming as possible. It is this appointment that has allowed the Shatroful Onreinn to excel their profits far beyond any other guild or merchant in the city and virtually squash any competitors that try to setup their own trade guilds. If someone within the city or from outside actually succeed in establishing themselves as a trade group, they immediately gain a powerful enemy in the Shatroful Onreinn.
Secrets :
OOC to assist your roleplaying:
*The guild is run by the Shatroful Onreinn’s Bolg Trog (Trade Master). This orc is never named to avoid assassination attempts. The guild has one “Bolg Rukul” (Wheel Master) for every exportable or importable good the guild has. The Bolg Rukul leads caravans and may hire and fire as many Rog (guards) or Snaga Rukul (wheel slaves) as he needs to accomplish his mission within the guild’s budget of course. The Bolg Rukul also act as the head merchants after their goods are delivered. The Zurm Onreinn, formerly the mercs of the guild, now mainly guard the guild itself and its stores below forcing the Bolg Rukul to hire mercs to provide escorts for the caravans. One moves up in the Guild’s ranks starting from Snaga Rukul then upward.
Secrets :
*NOTE: Rank positions gained within the guild must be RPed then approved by the GM/AGM. They cannot be assumed without approval.
Guild Pay Table: Bolg Trog: Keeps 5% of any shipment that comes to the guild. Bolg Rukul: Keeps 3% of any caravan he successfully leads. Rog (mercs): Paid 2% of any shipment they successfully protect. 1% paid at start, 1% after finished. Snaga Rukul: Paid in crowns (low but flexible amounts) prior to any caravan starting.
NPC to use at this location:
*This guild is run by orcs so any standard orc NPC may be used in peer-modding
*NOTE: If you make changes to any of the items or numbers below, please PM the GM/AGM to notify them so they can adjust the numbers here in this thread.

The Shatroful Onreinn have received a message from the Gothmog Kitot himself. There is to be a special delivery made and the guild is buzzing with excitement. Not many deliveries ever go outside the Orckon area these days so any action is good action.
The Bolg Trog has assigned a Bolg Rakul to the task of gathering 4 wagons and then manning them with Rog and Snaga Rakul. The wagons are in place outside the Guild Hall and a few Zerm Onreinn are hitching horses to the wagons. The Bolg Rakul is yelling at the top of his lungs trying to attract the attention of passers-by to see if they can hire them to serve as Rog or Snaga Rakul.
"You there! You want job?" he yells at anyone that he can make eye-contact with.
OOC: This caravan is closed. It is continued HERE.

Gurz wanted to fight, not just because it made him happy to make war but because it was the way to gain power. Only man-women like the shamans didn't fight for power like a real Orc should. Gurz was a real Orc, a real bad Orc. Any chance to make some shiny and to hurt somebody - even another Orc - was one that he was willing to take. The Horde could offer him some of that, but he wasn't interested in the Horde. Gurz wanted a clan of his own to lead. The good Orcs would come to him if he proved that he could smash skulls harder than the rest.
A Bolg Rakul was looking for people, and Gurz knew the place he was at hired mercs. Good Orcs knew mercenary life was a good life. Woe the day you had no enemies. The large black Orc grunted at the Bolg, "Gurz wan fight. Ju gat sometin where Gurz fight den Gurz take job." For a moment he wondered, what if he fought the Bolg? He had the tusks to challenge for leadership.
Thoughts of a fight ran through Gurz' head as it probably did for half the orcs in the city. There also were more than one thought made about challenging the Bolg Trog for rights to run the trade guild but there was a reason why the Bolg Trog was never named or seen in public. One orc has to challenge another in person so logically, if you don't see an orc, you cannot challenge that orc. It was simple yet effective in giving the Bolg Trog complete control over the guild. In order to challenge the Bolg Trog, one would have to quest to find him as none have been able to find him in any of the public establishments in the city.
One of the Bolg Rakul of the Shatroful Onreinn was looking for help so today would be Gurz' lucky day. A simple orc in appearance approached Gurz after hearing that he wanted work.
"So, lat wanna be Rog for Shatroful Onreinn? Wud skills lat hab wit weapons?"
The Bolg stood back and waited for Gurz to answer but also was looking the orc over at the same time.

He could take this one, he felt sure of that. He could probably chop his head right off and eat his guts without any problems. Then he'd have rank and a bit of a reputation. But then nobody higher would ever trust him if they knew the first thing he did was challenge a leader when he got around. He needed to get closer to them first, see them when they were weak and then challenge them. That was smart. Smart like Grek. Besides, you had to earn the right to challenge for leadership. He'd have to kill other peons first.
Gurz beat his left fist against his iron armour and held his axe high, "Gurz kill lotsa pink skins wid dis axe. Gurz gud wid an axe."
He scowled for a moment, his black lower lip curling down to reveal even more of his four tusks and making him even uglier than most Orcs normally were. Rog? Gurz didn't care about being a Rog. Stupid and weak Orcs could be Rogs. There was a lot he wanted to say now, but he would prove that his tusks had been given to him by Orok for a reason.
The orc nodded in acceptance then pointed toward an old wood cart that was near the entrance to the trade guild.
"Lat wait over der. Git more Rog din inform lat wud hafta do."
Gurz was in. He had been accepted (and more importantly paid) as a Rog in the greatest trade guild in Orckon. Not a bad start for an orc just starting out. The Bolg Rakul continued his search for more rog until he finally gathered 100 healthy orcs. All of the new rog were gathered around the old cart near Gurz until finally the Bolg Rakul returned to brief them on their mission.
"Listen Up! Bolg Trog say dis mission gonna be snaga mission."
: Points toward a nearby wagon :
"Git horses hitched to dat wagon. We goin' ta Enamoria Provence ta locate an' din escort snaga from Paxia ta Orckon. First we hafta find da snaga. Shara lookin' fer snaga right now. Shatroful Onreinn make sure shara not find snaga!"
The Bolg Rakul was ominous in his briefing. It changed from a simple escorting mission bringing slaves to Orckon but now the twist is that they have to first find the slaves and then protect them from those trying to free them. The prospect of getting to fight someone on this mission should excite the orcs but at the same time, it means some of the 100 may not return to Orckon. Lucky for orcs, it is the greatest end to ones life by dying in battle.
"After snaga in Orckon, each rog git 2% of snaga still alive. Rog also git anyting lat find from killed shara."
It was what the orcs wanted to hear, what they would get from this little adventure. They were visibly excited.
"Lat not git nothin' if not git dis wagon moving!"
The Bolg Rakul watched his rog spring into action.

The 1st month, in the Season of Autumn, Era II of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIV Post Fractum
Constant influx of troops from far and wide have stretched the resources of the army to a very thin and critical level. The sheer amount of rations and water needed to support such a large gathering is far beyond anything the trade guilds can keep up with. Word has come out that the Bolg Trog is ordering a trade caravan created and sent to any city willing to trade for food, livestock, and water. The exports being sent along with this caravan will be:
8 tonnes stone (= 4 wagons)
2 tonnes iron (=2 wagons)
140 slaves (= 2 wagons)
30 Rog are needed for security and 40 Snaga Rukul.
The Bolg Rukul for this caravan has already gathered the wagons he needs and have them parked outside the guild entrance. Guild workers scurry here and there but the Bolg Rukul's job is to gather up as many orcs or others that want to take part in this caravan as Rog or Snaga Rukul. These workers are not guild members but those that are looking for work and possibly a foot in the door to become part of the Shatroful Onreinn. New recruits into the guild are only chosen from those that have taken part in previous caravans for the trade guild. Taking part in one of these caravans is more a job application than anything else but many take part just for the pay.
The Bolg Rukul barks out his willingness to take anyone that wants to take part. He stands out in the road in front of his guild to see if anyone will take up his offer.
Brightening 4 Cycle 1 in the Month of Imperos, in the Season of Autumn, Era II of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIV Post Fractum
Walking around town in hopes of finding some work, Ral decided to go to the trade district to see if anyone there needed a laborer or anything of the sort. Ral walked upon a rocky outcropping and there was a dark door gaurded by two bare chest orcs with axes at their sides. Normally he would have avoided this place and he was fixing to pass by it, until one of the orcs started yelled something about work at Ral as he passed. This was just the break he needed, the work had found him instead of the other way around.
Turing around Ral walked up to the two Orcs gaurding the entrance of what he now recognized as the Shatroful Onreinn. Ral had escorted a caravan for them once before, headed to Narim, but the shara would'nt allow the caravans in and the contents of the caravan was a gift for the shara. Guess they got what they had coming to them. It made Ral chuckle when he thought of it. Last time he was here the city was trying to get trade agreements with Narim, after he returned the city had overtaken Narim. Funny how thing work out.
After he returned from his breif flashback, Ral looked at one of the gaurds and said, "Me wan work, but whud ju need Ral do an how much id pay?" Ral was'nt going to accept the job without first knowing what the job was and if it paid good enough for what they wanted to be done.

Eat, Raid, Mate and Sleep that's pretty much my day.
The bolg rakul was snatching up anyone that showed interest in wanting work. Throngs of bodies seemed to come out of the woodwork. He sees Ralzari and proceeds to shove him over to the group he was assembling.
As he herds them over to the wagons, he explains. "Des wagons gotta go out to da Empire for trade. We hab stone, iron, an' slaves. We take these to shara cities an' trade fer supplies for da warriors of Orckon. Ju git paid based on how da Shatroful Onreinn use ya sorry arses!"
The bolg rakul starts to divide his group of workers into two separate ones asking each one this: "Wud combat skills ju hab?" Depending upon their answer, he points left or right and the worker was expected to go and get into the appointed group.
The dust churned up as groups of bodies moved here and there. Horse teams jerked and neighed as their minders tried to finish the hitching to the wagons. The bolg rakul finally came to Ralzari and stood before him presenting the same question as he did for everyone else.
In the midst of the chaos Ral was simpily trrying to get his questions answered and make sure that he was picked to join the caravan, due to the fact that there were many orcs outside the doors wanting work. Being pushed aside into a group of other orcs slightly raised Rals anger level, but he was'nt going to show it because he needed the work and snapping off at the employers would'nt be a smart thing to do. So Ral kept his cool and waited for the two orcs to finish seperating all of the orcs into two seperate groups.
Ral listened as one of the orc instructed the mass of workers what was needed to be done and what items they had for trade and what they needed in return for the traded items. This was a bit unclear to Ral, because all the orc said was that they needed supplies for the warrior of Orckon and supplies could mean quite a few things. Once the Orc made his way to Ral and asked him what combat skills he had Ral responded, "Basic sapat." While the orc was in front of Ral and Ral had his attention he decided to ask, "Wad supplies lat need for da warriors, weapons, armor, food?" He stood and waited to see what his response would be and what group Ral would be in.

Eat, Raid, Mate and Sleep that's pretty much my day.
The bolg rakul looked at Ral and pointed to the wagons. "Dos wagons gonna be traded for da meat, water, grain, an' brew dat da warriors need in war. Dim not hab dos basic supplies, dey take from Orckon supplies. Dat mean ju an' me not eat! Get it?"
The bolg rakul heard that ral had basic axe and so he knew that skill no matter how basic should not be wasted pushing a wagon out of a mud puddle.
"Good, lat be Rog in dis caravan. Lat go to da left an' wait."
He then moved on and finished dividing the groups. The group that was on the left were Rog. The bolg stood before this group first to give instructions. The newly chosen orcs all stood and listened inventively.
"Now listen up! Lat chosen ta be Rog in dis caravan. Lat hab da skills needed ta protect dis caravan. If lat not protect da snaga rakul, lat failed in da mission ju picked fer an lat not git paid! As rog, lat git 2% of cargo lat protect. Da Shatroful Onreinn decide dat lat git 1 snaga (slave) now an' 1 snaga when ju return wit da supplies for da warriors. Ju decide wud lat wanna do wit des snaga. Make dim personal snaga, sex snaga, sell dim for angry brew or shara crowns wud-ever da Shatroful Onreinn don' care. Lat only worry 'bout completin' da mission."
As the bolg rakul spoke, there was an orc walking through the group strapping a light crossbow and quiver of 14 bolts onto the back of each rog. There was another orc right behind the first handing an axe to each rog.
: A Shatroful Onreinn member shouting :
"When ju hab weapons, line up an' git horse an' ju first payment snaga."
The other group that Ral was lucky not to be in was the group on the right. The bolg rakul was busy briefing the snaga rakul (wheel slaves) for this caravan on their duties. Their only duty was to do all of the manual work in making sure these wagons were tended to, loaded and unloaded during the duration of the mission. It was back breaking work with only 1% pay.
While the briefing was going on for the snaga rakul, the rog were lining up after being armed. They were now being given a horse and 1 slave each as their up-front pay. The horse would have to be returned after the mission as well as the weapons but the slaves were now property of the rog. The rog would be a mounted force and the snaga rakul had to somehow pile onto the wagons and share space with the loads they were carrying.
Eight wagons, 40 snaga rakul, and 30 rog with their personal slaves were now ready for the mission to start. The bolg rakul orc would ride in the lead wagon with snaga rakul making him as comfortable as possible. The rog were expected to protect the caravan at all costs by being guards, scouts, and trailblazers to ensure the caravan did not lose a single wagon. If one wagon should wreck, they would have to carry the cargo by hand. That would severely hinder the whole mission. The bolg rakul was in command and he whipped his horses reins to get the first wagon moving. With a great stir, the caravan left the trade guild compound.
As the bolg rakul pointed at Ral and explained what they needed their items traded for Ral listened and understood that, if they did'nt suceed in this trade mission, then there would be a food shortage in Orckon. Not only for the citizens, but for the troops as well and that would'nt be very pleasing seeing as how war was on the horizon and they needed all the food they could get before hand. The bold rakul's next instructions were simply that Ral was going to be a Rog for his caravan and stand with the group to the left.
Ral listened to the bolg rakuls speech to the rogs as he explained what him and the other rogs would have to do on this mission and what their pay would be. He was quite pleased to hear that he would be receiving two snaga and two percent of whatever cargo returning to the city he protects. As he listened further an orc walked behind him and strapped a crossbow with a quiver of bolts on his back. Following behind him was a orc handing all of the rogs an axe. This pleased Ral, for he knew how to use the axe, as far as the crossbow goes he would simply have to figure it out on the journey. Ral figured that he would have plenty of time, because he had the feeling that their trip would'nt exactly be a speedy one.
With a total of four wagons and fourty snaga rakul to protect as they traveled the countryside this would'nt be an easy task if they were to be attacked. That is if anyone had the balls to attack caravans of orcs with thirty armed orcish gaurds protecting the caravans. But when there was money and supplies involved, Ral knew how brave(or crazy) people could get, so he prepaired for the worst in case the worst should happen. After the bolg rakul was finished instructing the rogs of what to do, Ral headed over to get on his horse, while the bolg spoke to the snaga rakul. Ral stood in line as he waited to receive his horse and one of his snaga as his up front payment. Once he made it to the front of the line an orc shoved Ral his snaga (a male shara of about twenty five). Ral grabbed his snaga by the arm and walked him over to the horse Ral had chosen. Ral strapped his snaga's arms up behind his back with the straps from his previous snaga, so he did'nt decide to get brave and make an attempt at running, then got onto his horse (a strong good looking jet black horse) and pulled his snaga up by the arm onto the horse as well.
For a moment, Ral debated on whether or not to let the snaga walk, but he did'nt want to have to leave his gaurd of the wagons to have to chase down his snaga. Sure his snaga could still run due to the fact Ral decided to strap up his hand instead of his arms, but Ral did'nt want the snaga to get barve and try to pull a bolt out of his quiver and stab him in the back. Ral figured that it would'nt be too much of a pain to let the snaga ride on the back of his horse. Ral rode his horse up to the front caravan, so he could see what was going on during the ride and also to personally protect the bolg and snaga rakul. After the rog were all situated and the snaga rakul were all in place and informed of their duties, the caravan was now underway, leaving the trade guild compound headed toward the gates of Orckon. From their only the bolg rakul knew where there next destination would be.
Cycle 1, in the Month of Junctior, in the Season of Autumn, Era II of the Celestine Mandate,
Era XIV Post Fractum
The Bolg Rakul (wheel master) orc was busy gathering up yet another group of Rog to escort a couple wagons to Vesper to acquire food for the Hordes. He already had a dozen goblin snaga rakul as workers but skilled rog (guards) was what he was lacking.
He looked around and was yelling out the call for anyone with weapon skill to work as rog on this mission.
Cycle 1, Junctior, in the Season of Autumn, Era II of the Celestine Mandate,
Era XIV Post Fractum
After a few brightenings within Orckon, Grik started to grow restless. The training had been going well, his muscles ached from the new exercises that thier dark elf trainer had them do. But other than spend the few crowns he had at the Beer Tent, there was not much for the young orc to do. From orcs that had been through more training Grik heard of Shatroful Onreinn. They told of how they got were able to get goods in return for protecting wagons from shara.
A simple and easy task felt the young orc. A way to get some experience and honor plus the added perk of feeding himself for a bit longer.
As Grik neared the entrance he was stopped by the guards. 'Me here fer werk, gots nee?' He said quickly to the orc, looking at his tiny axe.
Before they signaled for him to go in, or to leave he heard a large orc yelling. With a grunt he passed the guards and shuffled towards the Bolg. Grik had his axe and the skills he had learned as part of the roving mob he was apart of.
'Me gotta axe 'n kin use gud.' He spoke up, his voice carrying over the guards, hopefully to the Bolg Rakul. Though he was not sure all that a Rog was he felt he could handle it.

The bolg rakul looked at Grik. Didn't seem too formittable but if he has the skills he boasts, he would make a good rog (guard).
"Vey well, ju look healthy 'nuff. So ju got sapat skill, anyting else dat cud help dis caravan?" he asked looking over the orc.
Before Grik could speak, another more stout orc approached and spoke over him.
"So how much we git protectin' des wagons? Nar much if ya only got two wagons."
The bolg looked at the orc then snapped back in reply, "Dat trade guild don' care how big da caravan is! Snaga rakul git da same single payment as usual an' Rog always git two payments, one before da mission an' one after da mission. It never changes."
The bolg looked back at Grik. "So ju wanna work as rog or no?"
