Public Knowledge in Orckon

The gossip was spreading around the city after the Gothmog Kitot ordered the city to start gearing up for war. They say that the Gothmog Kitot was forced to make the order after he learned of the Imperials blockading the northern border and that they had started raiding into Sheria from the Maevewood Forest. See, the Gotmog Kitot had put so much faith into the peace talks with the shara that he didn't heed the warnings of the Gothmog Ushtar Vrassun Tallarak that they were going to betray the orcs. That is exactly what happened. Before the ink even dried upon the peace parchments, the raids had already started. Grogan Thrag was forced to make the order to quiet the military forces in the city clamoring for war and to patch up his own support base in the city after being embarrassed by the shara governor. The government forces within Orckon have lost face for believing that they could "open up to the Empire" and place any amount of trust in them.
