Ah, so this was what an island was like. Sitting in the middle of the oceans on land that was as slippery and crazy as the tides of the seas themselves. Sand between the toes, salty sprays across the face.. It was childlike, of course! But then again, from someone so small, how could anything less have been expected?

This place, this.. Olympia. It wasn't as big as Primus Gaudeo, not by a longshot. A good thing, too! The Centripax was simply too big and scary, sometimes, for the little Faerie. These island things were peculiar themselves, but the amount of people were not so closely jam packed it felt like someone could move to their left and just step on you whole. Then.. splat! Serale, little faerie.
What a dire fate.

A little shudder ran through the body of one pale colored fae, whom held the general colors of blues and silvers throughout her beautiful design. Wings that seemed to shimmer accented the miniscule dress that she wore, all the while her little black hair pulled back.. However, a few strands had escaped her and fallen back towards her face. No matter, they weren't bothering her that much, and it was a habit to play with them in uncomfortable situations anyway.

Those little blue wings shimmered as they beat relentlessly in the salty ocean air, daring to keep the Faerie in flight throughout the town. There was no way she was going to.. to.. walk! Like those crazy big people, goodness no! Silly them, they were just jealous of her wings, that was it. Who could dislike a faerie, really? They were so adorable, especially Tiarela.. At least, she would like to think of herself as adorable.. and obstinate. That too.

The shore, though.. It looked a lot more beautiful from the land than it had on the ferry thing, whatever it was really, on the way here. Wonderous blues crashed against the darkened browns... Light reflected off of it's surface, making the entire scene beautiful.. It was enough to entrance a faerie.

And entrance Tiarela it did.
She stayed in one general area for a long time, just staring at it. What all was there to explore on this island, really? Who knew, it's lands were not endless, but it's embracement, it's mother.. The ocean.. Yes, it was endless. Kind of like Telath, only on a smaller scale. Who knew what was out there? Tiarela didn't even really have an idea of what was inside this little city she was currently at on any account.

Pulling herself away from the majestic scenery before her, Tiarela drug herself into moving around once more, probably looking more like a hovering bug if anything else. What had that first guy that had even brought her into this.. Empire? call her in resemblence to? A Dra.. gon fly. Dragonfly. What was that, though? A Dragon that flew? And if so, what was a Dragon? Oh, woe to the little knowledge one of the fabled lands had with her. Her common was choppy at times, just like what should have been her native language. Perhaps last time she'd made an attempt to talk to whatever it was back there.. well, perhaps it merely didn't understand her too well. That was probably it..

Well, how did one fix not being understood well? By trying again, of course! Now, where was another big person that looked like they might listen to her.. hmm? Silly native Olympians, here silly native Olympians..

[Aurora]

A teenage girl was walking down the street with a bunch of flowers and she was waving them around. The flowers which were different colored daisies, where tied together with long bits of string that flowed in the wind.

But that wouldn't strike one as odd. What would though, was her wings. She had a set of large wings on her back, and they shimmered in the light. They were of pink and gold and they matched her blonde hair and brought out her blue eyes.

But unless one got close, they wouldn't realize that the wings were fake. They would think that she was an overgrown fae. But most people ignored her as she went down the street smiling to everyone that she met, and to those that seemed down she would give them one of her flowers.

As the girl was walking down the street she looked up and noticed something hovering above the crowd..and....it had wings..and it looked like a person. She covered her eyes to hide the sun and then about gasped out loud..it was a fae! She had heard of them before but never had she seen one before.

The girl had to keep her boundless energy in check as she made her way to where she had seen the fae hovering around people. When she finally reached the spot she looked up and waved to the fae with much eagerness and then she tried to get the fae's attention.

Hello! Hello miss fae! Hello! She was pratically jumping around like a bouncing ball trying to get the fae's attention and she prayed that it worked.

What was this? Some... human? No, no.. It looked more like a Sprite! But did sprites really get this big? Mercy no, Tiarela was sure they never grew to such heights!
Well, whatever it was, it was trying to get her attention. So, why not. No one else was paying the fae the attention she needed anyway! Why not let this contraption of a human or overly large Sprite be the one whom actually drew the attention of Tiarela Iceglitter?

Dropping in height a bit, Tiarela fluttered ever so carefully over to the waving girl. She was hesitant, seeings she had no idea what this girl actually was. She was like some horrible cross breed, even though this was entirely way too improbable on any account - ever!

Hello.. Hello? What was hello? It sounded like a greeting, probably like Serale. Weird, Olympians were weird.
Smiling timidly, the miniscule faerie waved back to the girl, still rather confused about her.

Deciding that this must be some Sprite that was blessed with a spurt of height or tricked into a magical elixer that had vexed her appearance so, Tiarela called out in the native tounge of the Fae..
"Allo'ade!"
But, seeing Tiarela was neither totally fluent in Fae'len due to lack of practice, and then again was not totally fluent in common due to lack of practice, she had a tendency to mix them in some sort of Fae'mon or possibly Com'len. Something weird like that...
Continuing on, the Faerie spoke in the common tounge,
"It is a blessing on the eyes to see a fellow winged creature in the streets. It is not often this gaze strikes one.. Ah, I mean, me.
... You are from around this place then, I gather...er, presume?" She asked, looking around and noticing how not many of the townsfolk payed the what could only be an overgrown Sprite heed. This was either the case, or Fae folk were more common than Tiarela had anticipated.

The flowers held her eyes for a brief moment, before she returned her gaze to the 'Sprite' and it's wings. How big, how beautiful! They were not like her own, which were small and delicate, and also very blue in coloration. At least they both shimmered. Perhaps they really were alike!

Delight overtook the faerie at the sight of one so closely related to her kind. A grin struck Tiarela's face and she fluttered happily around, hovering in a sort of back and forth pattern instead of just in once place. Hurray hurray for the Fae-folk! They were becoming more common, were they not? No big people would step on them now!

[Aurora]

When Tiarela came down to the girl, she was so happy that she held her hands together in glee. But when Tiarela spoke in her own language, the girl gave her a blank look for a moment until Tiarela spoke in the common language finally.

After Tiarela was done the girl gave Tiarela the look that she would give a child who had seen too many monsters in his dreams. Tiarela thought she was one of her own. She didn't realize that the wings were fake. Well this girl wasn't going to ruin this moment. She had always wanted to be a winged creature and for one to think that she was, was the greatest thing in her life. The girl was going to play this for all she could.

Finally, indeed someone else like me. And yes I am from this place, born and raised here.

She then thought quickly that the fae would want to see her parents, so she had to make up a story fast since they obviously did not have wings.

But they died a long time ago. So I'm the only one left of that family. But anyways, my name is Veral. What's yours?

[Tiarela Iceglitter]

Tiarela was a bit beffuddeled by the peculiar look Veral gave her. What was wrong? Had she not met one of fae folk proportions before? Perhaps she did not speak the tounge of the Fae then and had no idea what Tiarela had said!

That must be it. Sprites were always in such naive states anyway. Silly things, they were like big five year old human... er, big peoples. Oh well.

"Ah.. I've been in this.. Empire a while, but I unlike yourself was born of Fae'rel. I sometimes miss it. You being born here explains why you understand me not." Tiarela spoke, a bit hesitant, in the common tounge. Silly big people and their odd language! It didn't flow like Fae'len did off of one's tounge. The obsurdity of that was enough to throw a stick at.

"Your.. Parents.. They must have been exceptionally large Sprites, mmm? A'llemenia -- er, My name is Tiarela. A'plyae mae.. -- Er, pleasure to meet you, Veral, Sprite of Olympia." Tiarela smiled sheepishly... She'd done it again, she'd mixed Fae'len and Common tounge in conversation with one that spoke it not. Oh, how difficult was the language of Telath!

The little Fae continued to flitter around excitedly at the prospect of someone who was like her, who knew this place. What was good here for a Fae to experience? Veral would know, she lived here all her life! And if that life had been as long as Tiarela's.. Wow, she'd been here forever!
"What is entertaining and fun in a place like this? Come, fly with me. Perhaps you can show me exactly what a Fae should do for fun in such a town!"

The faerie's voice was entergetic. She was always one up for little adventures, for fun, for generally anything that was entertaining enough to hold the interest of someone who didn't have a huge attention span and was obstinate enough to be a downright pain in the butt to anyone and everyone who looked down at her.
Bottle up the energy in Tiarela Iceglitter and Athernia only knew what you could accomplish then!

[Aurora]

Veral smiled. Pleased to meet you and, yes my parents were indeed large sprites. One of the rare breeds yah know. But anyways...

She continued to listen to Tiarela and when Tiarela said for her to fly with her, she got a little nervous, obviously she could not fly since the wings were fake and this presented a problem, but then a good idea came to her.

I prefer to walk. It is a little bit odd for me to be flying around all of these people and some of them get rather jealous because I can fly and they can't. But, deary, you are alright because you are not of their size, so they don't care as much.

But I will show you what we do here for fun. Even though it isn't much. A lot of people explore the pirate's abandoned caves for fun and sometimes they do indeed find a lot.

Others go swimming but I don't know if you would want to or not. But other then that, there is always someone trying to preform tricks or something of the sort in the town's square. So what would you like to do?

Oh my! There was so many interesting prospects in such a quaint little island. What did Tiarela want to do, eh? Swimming.. No no, and get her wonderful wings wet? That wouldn't do, faes were not meant to be one with the water.. No no, they were of the air! To fly!.. Yes, to fly. That was somewhere Tiarela was intent on staying - the air.

To watch a preformer try his hand at some sort of trick or other.. That would also be interesting, but not as interesting as what Veral had mentioned first - the pirate caves.

There was a chance of adventure, a chance of lots of fun and wonderfully mysterious stories to create, to venture around in.. Oh, the things a fae could think. Who knew? Maybe Tiarela could write short stories about the depths of the caves. It would be so much fun!

And not frightening, because Veral would be with her!.. Right? Of course, why would someone ever leave Tiarela in some mean, cruel trickery? Smiling as wide as her little fae mouth would let her, Tia fluttered around in excitment. She dashed here and there, and after finally settling down, exlaimed:
"Pirate caves? Oh, that sounds like loads of fun to explore! Have you been there before, Veral?"

Tiarela stopped running around the little air space she kept circling and gave the big sprite a peculiar look. Maybe if she hadn't, they could both go explore them together! Who knew what they could find, or what tales they could cook up? Tiarela had no obligations to anything of merit today, or really, any other day either. If Veral didn't have anywhere to be either.. She could come with her, she could!

"Will you show me where they are? I'd absolute..a..ly. Absolutely love to check that out." Spoke the calmed fae, who then murmered to herself a bit quieter..
"Wow, Pirates, and I was told those were only pieces of fantasy... But then there was that kid that thought I was just a piece of fantasy too.."

She gave a little shrug of her miniscule shoulders and smoothed out her dress to make sure it was hanging on her right. Nodding in an indication that it satisfied her, and that she was ready to go wherever Veral led, Tiarela smiled once again. Wow, pirates.. This would be interesting, interesting indeed!

[Aurora]

Veral smiled when asked if she had been to the pirate caves before. Indeed she had been to a few of them but not all of them. But she was going to act like she was a bit braver.

Well I have been to a few. And I like to go at night, because some of their ghosts haunt the caves so that they can protect their treasure. But there are still some caves that I have never been to, the ones that people say go in, but they never come out. Or else they find treasure and they take it, and the next day...THEY DIE! She yelled that last part out, to see if she coudl scare Tiarela.

She then giggled, pleased with her pranks. Yes yes, I will show them to you. Now are you ready for this adventure? I have some water with me that we can share, and it might get a little rough out there you never know..and who knows what all ghosts we will find, because I plan on taking us to the caves where no one comes out.. She said the last part in a spooky voice and then changed her tone quickly to one of that challenging someong. That is if you are not too afraid to go, because I could always pick some other cave that others have explored before, but our chances of finding treasure there will be slim to none.

But it is all up to you. Whatever you decide I will go with. Course there are always the shows here to see in town if you get too afraid to even go near a cave now.

Oh dear! Tiarela literally jumped in the air and gave a small squeal as Veral yelled the last part about dying. But that was all superstitious stuff, it was! There weren't things that could kill you for taking what was there and no one elses!.. right?

Tiarela giggled at her own fright and grinned wryly at Veral. She was going, there wasn't anything that would make her afraid of this now! Okay, so it was a bit scary. But it was going to be fun! Adventures were the greatest, they were! What were they waiting for!...

"Take us where you will, they're not going to scare me! I'm not afraid of no ghosties and ol' stories meant to scare little children. What're we waiting for?"

The fae had lost her sense of fear and regained the sense of adventure, of excitment! She was going to get to do something fun, she was! Tiarela was beginning to like the Eunesian Isles.. Or at least Olympia, seeing she'd been there and only there so far. Maybe after exploring the others a bit, she could decide if she liked it enough to stay around for a bit. Primus Gaudeo had been boring. The islands though? From what the Fae could tell, they were going to be so much fun! Especially if they were all as interesting and unique as Olympia.

Tiarela pratically danced around in the salty air. She was overjoyed that adventure was finally coming back to her.. She hadn't had a lot of adventure for a long time, seeing that dude that brought her to the Empire had long since abandoned the blue eleven inches of amusing wit because of her obstinance. Things like Tiarela did better of their own, or at least better when they weren't being treated like little pets or companions. She was a person too, stupid big people! This sprite, this big Veral the Sprite, she knew what it was like. It was great to have someone to go adventuring with her that happened to be as great and smart and intelligent as she was!

"Well then, I guess it's settled, huh! Lead onwards, Spirte'menia." Spoke the fae. She knew that the Sprite probably, like herself, didn't know a lot of the language that was their own, but perhaps she understood the ending suffix of 'menia'. It, of course, meant gentle. So, Tiarela had called her a Gentle Sprite. Simple enough.

Pirate caves.. Man, Tiarela couldn't wait!

[Aurora]

Veral smiled. Alright we shall go since you obviously have no fear in you. She laughed at the dancing fae. Let's hope the ghosts are menia to us then.

Veral did know that much of the word, that it did mean gentle, and she knew this from the many books she had read about the fae and sprites. So she was pleased with herself for knowing that.

Veral then checked everything she had on her making sure her water was with her and that it was full. She then nodded. Alright, let's go.

She took the path down to the docks and there was a little row boat tied up to the docks there. The boat looked a little bit old and was painted in blue, and some of the paint was falling off, but the boat still was sturdy and floatable and that was all that matter. Veral got in and motioned for Tiarela to join her.

Hop in. We have to row over to where this cave is. It is on a tiny island just little ways out in the ocean. And the cave goes underground and into the ocean so this ought to be interesting. I have only heard tales about this one, and I have seen the entrance but no one has dared to enter it. Apparently the deadliest pirate in Alleria hid his treasure here. So I think this will be the best cave for us to explore. She then smiled broadly as she set the oars into their proper place and untied the boat.

The fae grinned and nodded vigorously in reply to the overly large Sprite, laughing slightly at the thought of 'Ghosts' being menia. Well, who knew, maybe the ones whom were still inside this planet and not with the gods for reasons unbeknownst to them - and without a tortured spirit. But those were few and far between, really.

Following after Veral in the air, Tiarela stayed close, but at a comfortable distance. When they reached the docks, the fae looked around and was horridly reminded of the crowded ferry.. Which, by the way, is no where near related to a Faerie. How dare it even be called something so close!

An underground cave in the ocean, oooh...And the deadliest pirate's treasure! This was going to be fun, and adventure-worthy indeed! Maybe even stories could be written about them.. The only two who dared to brave the bounty may and descend into the depths of Pirate.. uhm.. whatever this guy's name was, or something. Yay!

Hop. Faeries did not hop really, but thankfully that wasn a expression. Leaving her wandering thoughts at bay for a moment, the Fae 'hopped' (or rather fluttered) over to the old boat and its peeling paint. She set herself down on the insides of the structure, careful not to get too close to the edge. Even though she could fly, she didn't want any fishies thinking Tiarela Iceglitter was the next brand of fish food. While she waited and allowed Veral, who was considerably taller and definately stronger, to get the boat going. Regertably, Tiarela couldn't help with her small size. Oh well, the Sprite had to understand.

She rested her wings from their batting and sat down on the wooden insides, more specifically on whatever type of levitated piece of wood there as for big people do sit on. Her little feet swung over the edge, out from under her dress. With little hands gripping the edge, Tiarela looked down at the boat's bottom and the up to Veral, a smile on her face.
"Sounds fun!.. I can't wait!" Chimed the Fae in response, happy to finally be going somewhere and doing something fun with someone who understood what it was like to be a faerie, a little person in the midst of the big people. Even the smallest could have fun, and they were about to prove that. Take that, big people!

Varel felt bad for the fae. She was so tiny sitting in the boat. But oh well, it was the best way for her to travel, and so it must be done. As she rowed she used all of her strength, and tried not to hit too many waves along the way for fear of having the fae all out of the boat, or worse yet fall down and hit herself.

As she rowed she mainly kept to herself, letting the suspense between them build up so that when they got to the cave they would be too eager to turn back, because inside Varel did not want to go into that cave, she was afraid of what lurked there.

After about ten minutes of rowing, and to what seemed like forver to Varel, they arrived at the tiny little island. Veral pulled the boat upon the shore and tied it to a palm tree to make sure that it wouldn't go anywhere. She looked around at the little island which would only hold about twenty people if that.

There were palm trees around the area but there was one large boulder that had ferns covering all sides of it. That was where the cave was at.

Well, it is time to go have a look. As you can see no one has been here in ages. She said pointing down to the sand which had no marks on it whatsoever, not even animal tracks.

She made her way up towards the boulder and pushed back some of the ferns revealing a dark entry way to the cave. A cold wind rushed past them sending chills up their spines. Veral looked over at Tiarela. Are you going first or am I?

[Tiarela Iceglitter]

Tiny was not always a good thing, but then again Tiarela dealed with it just fine. The little fae peered around her, looking at the various things that could be seen from a boat in the beginning lips of the ocean. They were coming upon an island, and it wasn't taking them too long to get there. Hurrah, action, adventure and.. well, lots of fae exploring. The stuff of legend, right, Tiarela?

Of course. And as they ran aground on the island they were to explore, Tiarela allowed Veral to tie up the boat so it didn't float away and fluttered out herself. She landed on the tip of the boat, looking around the dainty little island cove that was devoid of all forms of life. Wow, they really were being adventurous, weren't they! The little fae grinned at the prospect, no matter how scary it seemed.

There was no turning back now, and by gollee Tiarela Iceglitter would not have done it anyway! Fluttering up into the air again after the short rest of being on the boat for a bit, the little fae darted towards the cave entrance, shuddering at the cold air when she got close. Of course it was going to be cold, how silly could the little faerie be? It was going to be a bit scary, sure. But adernaline rushes were great, and they fueled normally fearful actions that a person would never ever take anyway...

With a deep sigh and thoughts to boost her courage factor, Tiarela smiled at Veral and shrugged..
"I'll go first. That way, if there's something in there, it has a less chance of seeing me. I'm only eleven inches tall anyway!" She replied, giving a bit of a jovial giggle. How Tiarela could maintain such a innocent, happy nature at the moment would baffle most scholars. Heck, she didn't even know herself!

But whatever it was, it fueled her ventures, and darting forward ever cautiously, the little blue fae went inside the entrance to the cave. At first, she only waded in a little bit. But soon, she went a bit deeper, and then turned around.
"Veral!" She whispered, calling for the big sprite, "Let's go! Only thing I see so far is that it's a bit chilly in here..." Chuckled the little fae, and hoped that so far, that would be all of it anyway. This was going to be so much fun!

Veral nodded. Alright but watch out for the spider webs, you might get caught in one, but I'll get you out. She let Tiarela go in first and when Tiarela said she could go in, she followed.

At first all that one could feel was the chill in the air, but as they walked further down into the cave, the rocks went from just being dry, to being cold, wet, and slimy. Veral didn't even want to touch the walls. And when she did because she started to slip her hand touched something, something that didn't feel like rock or slime. Wait up Tiarela. I felt something.

Veral almost didn't want to look. She covered up her eyes with one hand, but leaving enough space inbetween her fingers to sneak a peak. As she got closer to what she touched she saw what it was and she jumped back and hit the other side of the cave, making a loud thud that sent some bats flying out of the cave.

Veral covered up her face waiting until the coast was clear. Tiarela? Tiareal? Yo...You...stttiillll there? She said in a shaky voice. That thing..it was a dead body..I told you..I told you!

The little fae looked back at her overly large sprite companion, and then towards what had made her jump. Goodness gracious, a dead body? Eeep! Well maybe that was from some silly person, or the greedy pirates themselves. Yeah, that was it. He was too afraid to leave his stuff, was too scared.. So he ended up dying! Nothing to worry about.

Tiarela fluttered over towards Veral and landed gently beside her on the wall, if she could. If not, she'd just hover there for a bit, looking at the thing that had made her shriek. It would have freaked Tiarela out too.. In fact, it did, and that was why she was breathing a bit harder than normal.

"It's.. It's okay. It was probably the pirate himself, you know? Like, he got so greedy and stuff.. That he stayed here instead! And.. you know how pirates are, they don't think. So he realized that there wasn't any food left and ended up starving to death here.. All because of greed!" She paused and gave a supportive smile..
"That's gotta be it, right?.. Er, well, we can'tve come this far not to keep going.. R-right Veral?" Tiarela asked, hoping the overly large sprite was not about to give up on her. Spider webs.. Someone's gotta be there to make sure Tia doesn't get tangled up like a bug, right?

"Its alright.. If he's dead, he can't hurt us, so that's good... I'm still here." Tiarela reiterated, staying close to Veral and hoping her new accomplice was going to be alright so that they could continue on..

When Veral was ready, Tiarela would lead the way deeper into the caves, this time making sure to stay a bit closer to the fake large faerie. That way, whatever was going to scare the beejeezes out of them next would happen around the same time. They could be scared together!
