[Palais de Lumiere] It's a beautiful day...don't let it slip away!

Alexis Sapientia, erstwhile Imperial Minister of War for the Aelyrian Empire, bounded out of bed once he was awake, taking great care not to wake his wife and his offspring. Clad as he was in his crimson silken pajamas (a luxury he had afforded himself while they were still resident in Port Alyxandrya, thanks to an establishment owned by a former Thane), so did he henceforth make his way into the kitchen, startling a maid and causing something of a commotion as His Excellency secured a swig of good liquor before outlining his plan to the assembled all and sundry.
Master tactician that he was, when all was in order, so did he bound back to the master bedroom, still barefoot, as he was, and draw a warm bath. A good thing he'd had the foresight to ensure that the object in question comfortably fit two.
Returning nearly on tiptoe - the feel of carpet wonderful on bare feet - the First Gentleman of the Principality of Prime dug himself back into bed, before laying soft kisses on his beloved's exposed arms, shoulders, cheeks, and forehead.
The kisses were gentle, and yet insistent. To aid in this endeavor, so did he head for the curtains and draw the same, ushering out the wonderful soft sunlight, making wonderful interplay of the glass, just as the rays streamed in to highlight the sleeping form.
A sudden bounce of the bed would indicate that the Imperial Minister of War was yet again present, and the slow peeling of covering blankets sufficient enough to cause a sudden draft as feminine skin began to be revealed.
Tracing his fingers upon her supple cheeks, so did he await the fluttering of her most beautiful eyes.
"Wake up, Princess."
