Enlistment Office

Walking through the Gates one would see directly to their left the Enlistment Office. Sitting slightly back from the main street it was well kept and utilitarian, much like the other buildings along the street.

Walking inside you look around and see posters proclaiming the greatness of the Defenders and the speacal forces, the Athenian Elites, and several desks, each with a recruter behind it and recruits in the seats talking to them. Walking up to you a man in a turquoise blue dress uniform says," Serale, and welcome to the Enlistment Office, I'm Senior Recruitment Sgt. Andrious Goodfellow, can I be of service to you?" The Sgt. waited paitently for your response.

Dafydd walked in to the building and was approached by a man dressed in a uniform of blue that looked like the colour of the sea on a peaceful sunny day. The man introduced himself as the recruiting sergeant Goodfellow. Dafydd introduced himself, "Serale sergeant, my name is Dafydd and I wish to enrol as a Defender of this city and the realm." Dafydd didn't know if he was supposed to salute or not but gave an impromptu salute coming to attention in front of the sergeant. He stood in front of the sergeant awaiting his information on how he was going to complete his enrollment.

IC: "Great!" Sgt. Goodfellow said," If you'll come over here to my desk and just fill out a few papers I'll get you started and you'll be on your way."

Sitting down at hs desk the Sgt. pulled out a few sheets of paper and said," Go ahead and fill this out and sign at the bottom. If you pass the physical you'll be in."

Dafydd sat down where the sergeant had instructed and began to fill out the form.

Once he had completed the form he checked it over. Dafydd thought to himself, yes that looks ok. I'm finally doing what I've wanted to since the first day I saw the war ship pass us those few eras ago.

As he handed the form back to the sergeant Dafydd looked at some of the posters and other paraphernalia of the feats of the Defenders and again he felt glad to be stepping out into the life here at the fortress.

"Here you go sir." he said and awaited the sergeant reply.

Taking the paper from Dafydd's hand the Sgt. looked over it for a moment and made sure that everything was in order. After a moment he said," Alright then, follow me outside and I'll introduce you to one of your instructors."

Dafydd folowed the sergeant as he rose from the desk. Dafydd looked at one or two more of the posters and knew that finally he was at home.

He followed the sergent down the room and through the door to the start of his life in the military, a member of the Defenders.

Walking into the building, Yorik was amazed by the cleanliness and orderliness of the establishment. Even his mother back home, who a complete cuk when it came to keeping clean, would never have been able to get the house so pristine. On entering he noticed the other people filling out forms. After taking a form for himself he began filling it out:

Handing the form to the marine he decided to have a talk with him,"Serale sir, I'm here to enlist with the Olympia defenders".

Taking the paper from Dafydd's hand Sgt. Goodfellow looked over it for a moment and made sure that everything was in order. After a moment he said," Ok everything is in order. Now before we go outside, and I hand you over to Sgt. Ohenmus, do you have any questions that I can answer?

"No, no other questions and thank you. Im-a-gland to be joinin the defendars sir".With as much speed as possible Yorik headed off to begin his training and life in the Navy.

Bretheren heart was pumping like mad. He was so excited as he entreated the Enlistment Office. He saw all the posters and he could imagine him self to be Defender. It looked like those peoples are proud and strong military force.
Sgt. Andrious Goodfellow has spoken to him and Breatheren said with great pride: "Serale my name is Bretheren and I would like to join the ranks of defenders "

Having satisfied the guards demands, Roerex walked through the small entrance. Looking around he saw the sign for the enlistment office and walked towards it. Once inside, the posters on the walls just screamed at him to enlist.
He saw a soldier in a turquoise blue dress uniform approach him from the back of the room. Waiting for the soldier to reach him, Roerex replied to the man's question with one of his own.

"Serale, Sgt. Andrious Goodfellow," his deep rumbling voice echoed off the walls. "I am Roerex Thunderaxe, citizen of Olympia, and I wish to enlist. Before doing so, however, could you answer a question for me?" he asked politely.

Seeing the sargents nod of assent he continued: "Do the Defenders include the teaching of healing in their training or is the training purely weapons?"

Yes, we teach healing as well as weapons to our troops. In fact it is encouraged for troops to learn an arcanaic sphere as well to maximize their effectiveness in war." Sgt. Goodfellow replied to the question. " Now if you have no more questions I'll Need you to sign in here and let me know when your finished."

Roerex pulled the form towards him and slowly filled it out.

Once he was finished he blew the ink dry, returned the form to Sgt.Goodfellow, and waited for the next step.
He thought 'Finally I am getting someplace...learning how to fight and healing as well..."

A smile creased his weathered face as he looked at the Sgt. Now then Sgt. when do I start my weapon training and when will my healing training start?
