The Naturan Craftsmen Guild
Est. 10th of Imperos, Autumn, ERA II, XIV pf

Nestled in the Oakwood District, this single-story building is built of stone with a white-wash like most all buildings found in Natura. There are shutters on the windows that are usually open during the brightening save for times of bad weather. A wooden covered porch with an elaborately carved railing baring a forest animal theme offers a pleasant welcome and a small wooden sign with the name, "The Naturan Craftsmen Guild" carved into it hangs from the porch roof. Attached to the building is a moderately sized stone barn of newer construction and carts baring all manner of crafts can be seen coming and going from here randomly throughout the brightening.

This is the central office for the 'Naturan Craftsmen Guild'. The Guild was established to offer Naturans, skilled in various crafts such as leatherworking, blacksmithing, painting, sculpting and a number of other trades, an outlet for selling their goods to the world outside of Natura. By doing so they make few crowns and even give back to the town itself. The majority of the profits made by the Guild are returned to the town and help fund various civic services and beneficial projects for everyone living in Natura.

Crafts of all kinds, each baring their creator's mark, are distributed to merchants and shops across the Empire; marketed as custom, hand-crafted items suited for collectors and common folk alike. Though not a shop in the traditional sense, the office is the central location for marketing, distribution and the core operations of Guild business and does offer a showroom where sample crafts are put on display for visiting merchants and collectors to view samples of Naturan craftsmanship.

Upon entering the Guild office, visitors are greeted by the showroom. Glass cases elaborately display various crafts such as a samples of custom Naturan armor, a Naturan longbow and custom arrows; each arrow detailed with individual carvings along the shaft and head. In another case, samples of Naturan jewelry crafted from exotic stones specially cut and etched with symbols of nature.

On the other end of the showroom is another short, glass display case running the width of the room. Behind the case are a couple of desks where office personnel handle all of the paperwork involved in orders, sales, and accounting. Past the desks is the manager’s office. A large, rather well organized desk sits at the back of the office while the walls are lined in neatly kept shelves and cabinets. Here the manager oversees the routine operations of the Guild office including on-site sales. Though it is somewhat rare for Naturans to purchase items here, it is not unheard of yet visitors are more than encouraged to have a look around. Out-of-town sales are handled by the Guild’s chief administrator, Austin Eventide who may be contacted via messenger, letter, or in person to arrange a meeting.

A young elven woman with short, braided blonde hair and green eyes, greets visitors with a pleasant smile and sweet voice. “Welcome to the Naturan Craftsmen Guild. If you have any questions I am happy to help answer them.”

The Showroom

Leather Overskirt This black leather over skirt is adorned with studded silver around the waist area and goes well with the armored leather bustier and skirt to make a perfect outfit both protective and fashionable. 30 crowns Armored Leather Bustier and Skirt This wonderful ensemble consists of a silver studded armored leather bustier and skirt with a leather over skirt included. It is perfect for those ladies who wish to be protected and look elegant all at once. 50 crowns Naturan Crafted Leather - Steel Armor This custom armor is made from a combination of steel plates and elaborately shaped leather. The plates are mixed with a special die that colors the metal during forging and does not wear like normal paint. The extensive use of leather allows excellent mobility as well as good protection all in a lightweight piece. Accessories are available from the same crafter. 100 crowns     Naturan Crafted Exotic Armor This unique suit of ladies armor is crafted from a lightweight steel as well as elaborately worked leather. The color of this display and of most of the crafter's work is a mystery as far as how it is attained but it is one of the most functional, protective and fashionable pieces on display. 115 crowns Naturan Crafted Belt Pouch This belt pouch is crafted from hardened leather and woodand offers great protection to even the most fragile of contents. Custom designs and prints are offered by the crafter. 15 crowns Naturan Crafted Leather Bracers These leather bracers are offered in numerous colors with the display being green. Various artwork can be tooled into the leather by the crafter and colors include; green, black, brown, blue and many others upon request. 25 crowns Naturan Crafted Ring Coat This beautiful black leather coat has been painstakingly crafted to include hundreds of steel rings lining the outside. A combination of flexibility and protection this fashionable yet functional item is a must have. 75 crowns Naturan Crafted Helm This sturdy helm is crafted from locally mined steel and shaped to grant the best protection while maintaining the best field of vision. It is good for the average person looking for a bit of personal security just as it would be for a professional soldier. 30 crowns Naturan Crafted Shield This shield is designed to be lightweight yet sturdy. Elegantly decorated with custom etchings available, this item will complete any suit of armor and is perfect for use with numerous types of weapons. 35 crowns Naturan Crafted Leather and Steel Mugs These mugs are crafted mainly from hardened leather treated with pine tar and studded with steel. The bottoms are crafted of steel or wood and they all bare various designs with custom orders available. 10 crowns a piece or 25 crowns for a set of 3 Naturan Crafted Cigar Cases Available in a wide variety of design options, these leather cigar cases are elegant and portable. They provide good protection from moisture and aid in maintaining the flavor of the contents. 20 crowns Naturan Crafted Obsidian Jewelry Numerous pieces of obsidian jewelry are available ranging from rings to necklaces and beyond. Each piece is set in delicately shaped, finely handled steel and the obsidian is mined from local sources. 50 crowns per piece (ring, necklace, bracelet, etc.)

Secrets : Name: Myseril Vu'tsarith Race, Age & Gender: Elven Female, 135 Physical Description, History & Behavior: Myeril, is the youngest daughter of a moderately prominent elven family in Natura. She has short black hair with bright blue eyes and carries herself with a noble-like quality. She is well-spoken and does quite well with people. Austin Eventide met her during one of his many forays to the Naturan branch of the Bank of Aelyria and noticed immediately her talents. After offering her a job, she left the bank to work at The Guild. Secrets : Name: Ritalon T'suratholisan Race, Age & Gender: Elven Male, 201 Physical Description, History & Behavior: Ritalon is a well-dressed elven male with brown hair and very dark brown eyes. He has been known as an adviser to many a prominent citizen of Natura and is quite talented in business, economics and trade. His name came up often while Austin Eventide was seeking information of use in developing his idea to improve the quality of life in Natura. He was interviewed and quickly hired as the manager of the central office of The Naturan Craftsman Guild. Trugo Hidesplitter The featured craftsman this cycle is Trugo Hidesplitter. A Naturan Native, Trugo is a up-and-coming leatherworker. Currently dabbling in various projects including leather clothing and leather accessories such as pouches, mugs, sheaths, scabbards and horse tack, Trugo's work is indeed impressive. His specialty however is in leather clothing such as this featured long coat modeled by Narese. Colors vary although Trugo himself prefers black. Clothing crafted for men and women alike. Nataliana M'sulivas The featured craftsman this cycle is Nataliana M'sulivas, an elven native of Natura. Nataliana is the key crafter of the obsidian jewelry offered by the Guild. Her talent at carving and shaping the stone is amazing and she is but an apprentice. Mixing in a good handle on working with silver, Nataliana's work is to be appreciated and worn with pride. Specializing in necklaces, rings, and various light adornments, Nataliana is a wonderful addition to the growing list of craftsman here at the Guild. Just see this wonderful example of her work.
