Unarmed Combat round 2 Tev vs. Stephan
It was the first match of the second round of competition. The judge is standing in the Black ring waiting for the two competitors to arrive.

Arriving at the ring Stephan was glad his first fight had gone exceptionally well. He knew that competition would only get more and more fierce and he was ready fight. Bowing at the edge of the ring Stephan stepped in and awaited the arrival of his opponent.
He could feel his energy surging through him at the anticipation of a fight. His adrenaline levels have been very high since his advanced scimitar lesson had concluded, and he waited unpatiently for the next opportunity to use them.

Tev approaches the Black Ring. He glances at his opponent and then nods. He removes his shirt and stretches his arms a few times. His neck, upper arms and chest are covered with long ago healed bites. burns and scars.
The Ranger then steps into the Black Ring and walks over to the Judge. He nods to the Judge.
Tev looks over at his opponent with a fixed gaze and studies him.

Ok gentlemen the rules have not changed, Once again if you are knocked from the ring you are disqualified; also if you are knocked out you lose.
If there not questions, lets begin. The Judge first points to Stephan to see if there are any questions.

Stephan looks at the judge ad shakes his head, "No, I'm ready." He then snapped into his fighting position and awaited the same answer from his opponent. The match would start soon and his heart was already pumping fuiously.

Very well the Judge then turned to Tev. Are you ready?

Tev bends his joints slightly. Particularly his elbows and knees.
With his eyes still fixed on the eyes of his opponent, Tev replies to the Judge, "Yes, I am ready".

With his body leaning forward a bit and his knees slightly bent, Tev moves in on his opponent. His eyes are still fixed on Stephan's. He relies on his peripheral vision to watch his limbs. Tev swings a left at Stephan's face and then a right toward his abdomen.
Each arm returns to a defensive position. One guarding the upper chest and face. The other, bent up buy lower at his side.

Unlike Tev he took more of a light on his feet approach where he was standing on the balls of his feet and moving forward lightly. He approached in a left-forward fighting stance, where his left foot was in diagonally forwads from his right but his body was faced forwards.
Moving forwards he watched for any signs of a quick attack, but he had seen no action until they were close enough. Close enough to be attacked now Stephan began to bounce up and down very lightly, his feet barely leaving the ground, probably less than a few millimeters.
Tev attacked first and since he had been watching all movements he reacted by first raised his 90 degree bent upwards left arm to block and then saw the right. Attempting he decided to take the block in his right hand, so to lessen the force he reached out his right arm and aso stepped backwards with his left foot to add distance.
If he had blocked the right-hand blow and possibly grabbed it he would counter-attack by pulling Tev forwards and deliver a forwards left front kick into his abdomen. If the grab had not been successful but the block had Stephan would quickly jump back into his left fight stance and deliver a powerful sidekick to the outside of Tev's right knee.

OOC
Do you want us to post alternatives and have a new scenario if a counter or an attack fails?
I'd rather leave it to the original intent.

OOC: Well think it will depend on the post. Even though you stated that your hand went back to a defensive position, your opponent seeing it coming could attempt to grab it. In this case I don’t mind.
I really don’t want to see several alternatives in a post. But I see nothing wrong with one when it comes to a counterattack.
I see your point Tev, as to having to many different scenarios depending on which alternatives move is accepted, but also see Stephan trying to keep the thread moving at a good pace.
So how about a limit of “ONE” alternative to a countermove?

OOC
Sounds good to me.
If we both do it the same way, it will be fair.

Tev’s knees were bend and he had a good center of gravity. Stephan was able to grab his arm but he was unable to pull Tev forward.
Stephan’s front kick is on the way.
