Ranger Training - Archery for Galford Only

Galford
It is a beautiful morning, not long after breakfast. The sun is starting to clear the tree tops. The birds are announcing the beginning of another day.
A fine day to be outdoors.
Tev waits for Galford at the Archery Range.
It is time for Galford to resume training with the Bow.

Morning come, the birds, the plant and the people around welcome it. The morning beauty seems overwhelming all creature around, thats include Galford too. When he finished his meal, in a moment Galford take a deep breath, try to inhale all mist around and then Galford began to do some morning excercise before he face a morning archery training with Tev. When all morning ritual is done, next, Galford pickup his short bow and a dozen of quiver, ready to take an archery class with Tev.

When Galford reach an Archery Range, he see that Tev already stand infront of Archery Ranger. In hurry, Galford salute him.....

"Good morning Tev, may Diana always protect thee !"

"What are we gonna to do right now Tev ?"

Tev greets Galford, "Serale, I'm glad to see you ready for the day. Its a fine day for the Archery Range. Let's have three shots at the 150 foot target and see how your eye is this morning. Then we might do something more challenging."
The morning sky is clear. The wind is negligible.

"Indeed it's a fine day to get an Archery Training, well 150 foot then !"

"Well, I hope my eyes doesnt cause me any trouble right now, har har har !"

First, as a good archer, the archer himself must make ready the bow itself by assembly the string to the bow. With his left hand, Galford press down the bow a little bit and then with his right hand, he pull the bow string and then fix it at the other side of the bow. After make sure that the bow string is at the right position, Galford rearrange his stance, relaxing his body and also his mind, watch where the wind blow and finally focusing his mind to the middle part of the target. When all is set, Galford grab an arrow and put it at the tip of his left arm, pulled backward the bow string and the quiver by his right hand, move his aim a little bit upward and then ready to release the arrow. Slowly Galford take a deep breath and then..........he shoot it out.........

Again Galford grab another arrow from his quiver and then put it at his shortbow. Then Galford positioned himself as Tev instruction later. A Common stance, where Galford stand up with his right leg position is a little bit upward rather than his left leg.
Focusing his mind on the target, calculate the wind factor and also a distance then Galford pull his arrow. Take a deep breath and then shoot the arrow......

A good shot.
The arrow lands in the second ring outside the Bullseye.
Tev says, "Make your adjustments and do one more".

Realize that his first arrow just landed in the second ring outside the bullseye area, Galford arrange a small adjustment, again with the same stance as before, Galford grab his next arrow from his quiver. While focusing on a distance and then aiming little upward from the bulleye area, Galford watch where the winds blow and began to pull the string. After calculate all factors and also finished his arrange, Galford take a deep breath and then release the arrow.........

The arrow flies true. Galford keeps his eyes on the path of the arrow and sees it land in the Bullseye.
Tev is quite pleased. He says to Galford, "You have done well in the first stage of your Archery training. You have met the requirements for advancement to Archer. Congratulations to you. We will continue with further training in archery.
"Unarmed combat is one of the requirements for your next promotion".
