Sands of Time (Open)

[Selegon Merith]

"Where has the time gone? Where has all of life passed to? What lies in the future? Only time can tell when the future will be safe. Only thing right will be right, and only when they become right is when you make them right."

Selegon came out of the Ranger hall and walked over to the woods and he was looking around to see a stump, in the middle of a field. He sat on the ground and leaned up against it and relaxed himself. Selegon looked up when he seen a faint object in front of him. It was night time and was hard to see. Selegon stood up and walked toward the objest it was a sign. Saying what was above. As Selegon was reading he thought 'Whats this mean?' He really only wanted to know why a sign was on the edge of a field. This was all confusing, very confusing. Selegon shrugged and walked back over to the stump. 'What could all this mean, seriously. It is almost like a riddle. A riddle of time, that only get more confusing as you read.' Selegon said to himself as he slowly drifted off to sleep. SNAP! Selegon just instantly woke up and looked to see a white wolf being harassed by some black wovles. Selegon grabed his small torch that he had brought with him. 'Hey go away, all you little wolves. Go on, get out of here!' Selegon scraded all, but the white wold away. The white wolf liked Selegon. 'Your not such a bad wolf. Your going to be my freind. Im going to name you, White Fear. Because your white and you have no fear. Selegon whistled and White Fear came with him almost instantly and Selegon dozed back to sleep.

The next morning Selegon woke up and woke White Fear up and began to walk and look for some food or some small animal to kill. After looking for awhile, he petted White Fear, and scanned the area again. 'Hmm, I need something to eat...' Selegon proceeded to walk into some woods where he seen what looks like a present day squirl. Selegon got out his bow, pulled it back. He conentrated on the target and shot. Dead hit on the squirl. He pulled out his dagger and knifed it and eat some of the meat and gave some to White Fear. 'What do think White Fear? Is the battle of Zinn'Sunn goning to be easy or hard?' Of course the wolf just sat there and turned his head and Selegon was not dumb he knew the animal could not answer him, but he would still talk to him. 'For me, nothing is ever easy, even if they gave it to me. Well, none the less, time shall come to pass, as it does everyday. Another time for battle.' Selegon had never talked this much to someone or anything for that matter. He really liked White Fear, and the wolf liked him. Selegon went back to the sign and read it again. Still wondering what it ment. He may never know, but he still tries to read it. He then seen a path. Not much of a path, but it still was a path yet. He walked on the path and it led to an opening with a tree in the middle, with apples on it. 'Apples!' Selegon and White Fear ran to the apples and ate some.

As night crept on Selegon and the wolf kept following the path for a long while, untill finally it came to a forest. It was the forest of light, and Ethgan'tor lies inside, Selegon's home land. Selegon and White Fear were much to tired to go any further. Selegon dosed off, lying on White Fear's stomache. "Wow, a white wolf!" Said a voice behind them. Selegon and White Fear did not hear it. "I will get this one. I may be young, but I have been told I very good at getting animals." Selegon heard that one, White Fear did not. Selegon got up slowly and yawned and streched his arms in the air. He looked around, and seen nothing. "Gotcha!" Selegon turned around and seen White Fear in a net, and seen the Human boy. Selegon grabed the boy by the shirt, and lifted him off the ground. 'Hmm, Human. What are you doing to my pet wolf, White Fear?' Selegon asked looking at him with his hood up. "Your wolf? You a druid?" Asked the boy looking at Selegon. Selegon put him back on the ground. 'No, a Ranger. What are you?' Selegon asked nowing he is a Hunter or a Trapper, being he tried to get White Fear. "Im a 11 Year old Hunter. I'm not to bad at it ethier. Well, unless there are Rangers about." Said the boy laughing 'Well figured so. Where are you from anyways, and whats your name?' Selegon aksed. ''Dimintari Sinirithia. Im fron Narim, but I moslt live out here, and you?" Asked the boy. 'Same.' Selegon wondered if this boy is telling the truth, kids can lie very well.
