ooc: just getting time on my horse, im using this to become a better rider and to train in the wilderness as well. I'll probably have multiple outings with Nero, all in here. Feel free to mod anything or throw anything in here at anytime if you find the urge(mods).

Waking up earlier than normal, and more refreshed than normal, Fastdraw thought of things he could do in his spare time.

Wow, I slept great. Most likely because I worked leather so much yesterday, that stuff still amazes me after years. I haven't taken Nero out in ages, couldn't hurt to give her a stretch. Shoot, wouldn't hurt to give me a stretch either.

He made his way to the ranger's stable where he houses Nero, his black female Lauryllian Opprens. Opening the gate he can here Nero rusting about munching on some hay as he enters the stable.

"Hey there!" he says, stroking her neck. He retrieves a brush from another stall and carringly brushes down Nero, much to her liking. He talks to her the entire time, telling her of recent news in the Hall and at the Shop, she is a great listener. It's is the best way to calm Nero, and bond with her at the same time. She loves conversation because she knows she's getting attention. Eventually she grew restless and Fastdraw through a saddle on her and picked up his belongings, weapons and all, and leaped aboard. It had been a while since he took her out to sprint, and that was her strongest feature. Nero is a extremely fast horse, and is oddly enough resistent to magic, although that has yet to be seen in action. He decides to take Nero where she hasn't been yet, down alongside the coast.

"Common girl," he said with no use of his heel, and she excitedly hastened to a trot. They passed through the heart of Narim as they made their way to the coast.

Once they passed through the heart of Narim and closer to the coast, seagulls were plentiful, and the aroma of the sea was prevalent. They finally reached the coast and Dra tightened himself up in preperation for what was to come.

As soon as Nero touched the beach, Fastdraw gave a hollar! "LETS GO!" He yelled. Nero bolted, as if off a starting line, along the beach to the goal. She sprinted and all the while Dra encouraged her to go faster and faster, pushing her to the limit!

Max was in the water when he heard a thundering coming down the beach. At first he thought it was just him hearing things so he carried on swimming but when it got louder he saw a small black dot on the crest of the beach. Then he realised he wasn’t hearing things he swam to the shore where his cloths lie with his hunting knife and his saber. Max had only just got his trousers on when the horseman came into view. As the horseman came near Max got his hunting knife sheath round his waist but then he saw it was an elf.

Releasing his hold on his hunting knife he put up a hand to signal the horseman “serale, that’s a fine animal. Lauryllian Opprens I believe ” with a friendly smile.

They were practically flying down the beach when Fastdraw spotted someone from distance. He was able to make out a huminoid figure a good distance away and slowed Nero's pace.

Upon reaching the signaling man he was greeted with a friendly smile.

"Serale, you are correct friend, she is a great animal. I see you know your horses, I'm impressed. My name is Fastdraw Kwikman, 'Dra' for short, it's nice to meet you. What brings you down here?"

[Max]

“Well I don’t know my horses that well but they seem to know me pretty well. Horses seem to like me I don’t know why?” Max reached out on stroked the horses on the neck and gave it a pat to reassure it that he meant no harm.

Max reached down and picked up his tunic and put it on then looked around at the horizon and the beach. “I like the solitude here its so peaceful don’t get me wrong I like a good drink down the tavern with friends but I also like my time alone it gives me time to ponder things”

Looking back at Dra “Sorry I forget my self I am Max” gives a slight bow “Ranger by trade ranger by nature” Flicking his saber up with his foot to his hand then slide it in to its sheath.

"Ah a Ranger, as am I, great to hear. I just came from the Ranger Hall here in Narim. Where is it that you train? Are you interested in joining the Ranger's here Max? We'd love to have you." He said

(ooc: unless a GM has okay'd it, you need to have trained IC to become a ranger already, which is great fun! You came to the right place to become a ranger.)

[Max]

Max looked around considering the idea “Yes sure why not, It’ll be a good way to meet new people.” Looking around then with a stupid grin on his face turned to Dra “and get a Bow not much a ranger am I?” With a laugh.

“ Can I get a bow down the old ranger hall or there abouts?” Starting to walk down the beach the way Dra was going. ”It would be a good idea”

"Yes we provide everything you need to become a Ranger, in return you provide loyalty to this Hall." The two of them and Nero walked a ways. "I'm on my way back to the hall now, I can bring you there and introduce you to S'Lon, he'll make sure you are fit to be a Ranger, and if you pass then you'll begin archery training right away, as well as many other skills later on. Is there anywhere you need to go before we head to the the Hall max?"

[Max]

"I might have to use a bush on the way but other than that no lets go and to the hall and get me introduced to this S'lon" and with that he started to walk the way Dra can from asuming that is where the hall was.

And with that they headed to the Ranger Hall in Narim. (ooc: go to that thread, we'll continue there)

After he took Max to the hall he finished up his enjoyable, and productive ride. He put Nero back into her stall, brushed her for a few minutes, and headed to the leather shop to make sure everything was running smoothly.
