Unarmed Combat - Galford, Hadrin, Myfanwy

Tev is at the back of the Ranger Hall.
He is waiting to start a new session with the trainees. Unarmed Combat.

Unarmed Combat! She wasn’t so sure she was ready for the more physical contact side of being a ranger. She knew that it would be a little harder at first being a female and not having the brute strength that seemed to go so well with males of the species. Still she would have to have some advantage in being female. Still here she was walking to the appointed spot where Tev was waiting.

”Serale Tev, I see I’m the first one here. I’m not sure if I’m ready for this at all. If I end up bruised and battered I expect you to rub the liniment in afterwards” she said giving him an impish grin.

"I'm glad you came early. It speaks well for your motivation. Don't fret about being a female. Some of my own training was with a female Elf, she bested me. You must use your inate abilities to your advantage. Just think about what skills you have."

She listened to Tevs’ advice and knew that he was right. Besides she would only need to be hurt once to know how to fight back the next time. She sat down on the ground resting her chin in her hands staring off into space while she waited for the others.

"Har....har....good day folks, what a fine day to beat someone chick !" say Galford when he wink to Myfanwy.

"Har...har....har, me....Galford ready to began the practise !"

"Good morning Galford. You seem ready to go. You'll get your chance to do some beating soon enough. Come join us. We were just talking about the training. What experience have you had in unarmed combat?"

"Hmm.....my experience then !"
"Couple years ago, when I was in Slave Liberation Movement, I did some unarmed combat with several slave trader and their bodyguards. Most of them, killed by my crossbow but there is also a bunch of them feel the wrath of my fist....har....har...!!!!"

Galford show his right arm muscle biceps to both of them with proud.

occ: Iam not bunnying Tev, thats indeed happend before the great crash happend, If iam not wrong, thats happend at enamorian forest......

Myfanwy looked up as Galford approached, he was a funny young man but likeable enough. She wasn’t sure if he was serious thought about beating up on some “chick”. She watched as he flexed his muscles for Tev to prove a point. She had the distinct feeling she was going to have to use some brain cells to beat this one.

”Galford what ever have I done to you that you should want to beat me up?” she asked quietly.

Hadrin shakes his head at the distasteful and rude human. He makes no further deal of it, just approaches the group. "Serale, Master, rangers. Here for unarmed combat."

Hadrin wonders why Galford finds it necessary to show off his muscle. Unarmed combat has never been about power- the exact opposite in fact. From his experience, and what he'd been told in the past, it was all about technique, and overcoming the powerful.

"I will be competing in Unarmed Combat at the Ranger Festival. Whether I win or lose, You should be able to learn by watching. Then we will return to your training."

"Har..har....dont be affraid my Myfanwy, what you have done to my heart is more painfull than what you gonna feel in this training, trust me my dear !" when Galford say that, again he wink his eye to Myfanwy.

Myfanwy chuckled at Galfords flattery; getting to her feet she moved over to join the three men.

”Galford you flatter me and if I have done something to your heart then I am truly sorry; it was not my intention.” she said giving him a smile.

Tev’s comment about watching him fight in the festival had her looking at him more closely. She had watched her brothers have mock fights all her life and had never really found them to be something to enjoy. She tried to keep the look of distaste from her face.

Hadrin raises an eyebrow. "I don't quite understand what you just said, but I'll take it into consideration."

Hadrin then nods to his master. "I'll be watching the match carefully, to gain any insight that'll help me with this training."

Hadrin then throws a look over at Myfanwy. He feels that she might not like this part of training, but doesn't do anything to alienate her. He just focuses on the words of Master Tev.

That she found Galford most confusing was very evident by the look on her face. He was a strange young man and not one she was sure she wanted to know. Still if he wanted to play games then she would be more than willing to reciprocate. After all she didn’t have two brothers without learning a thing or two.
