Theoretically - yes, they can - but they don't take on GM duties, only AGM ones.

Lol sure… I am an AGM and love my city. I have no desire to leave but if I could help out elsewhere I would like to do that but not at the cost of leaving the city I am so fond of.

Dibon - well there's a thread in the contributorium that shows people who are willing to "guest mod" elsewhere... or you could put something in your siggie.. If your city has a GM talk to them about it - if not - consider applying for GM!

Just a quick note that we have just welcomed

Maddyn (New Coldmoon) , Chef (Candaceburg), Ocarion Feral (Archadoon), Mellonin (Zerdargia) and Hermes (Kyathis( to the moderation team!

Previously we also welcomed Trouble, Catalyst and Charles Wallace to the Game Master Council!

Just a theoretical question: Is it possible for an AGM to mod / babysit a GM-less city?

I'm thinking about taking a GM-less city over, and since I'm too young to become GM, I would like to know if I could at least do some moderating in a city instead of a GM or until a GM is interested in it.

AGMs have done so in the past, but they generally needed to have a sponsor GM.

Honestly if you feel capable enough to babysit a city, I would think you are capable enough of handling the learning curve of moderating a city

If you have a city to babysit in mind yet, and you want to add more feathers to your cap before you apply, you should probably talk to your GM and poke us in the help desk.

I am her current GM and we talked about it and I totally support her and could be her sponsor GM. So if she pokes you in the HD, just know I am cool with it, more than cool actually!

I've removed some more cities from the list.

In the past few weeks we have been lucky enough to welcome the following to the GMC

Chef - C-Burg
Mellonin - Acumin
Maddyn - New Coldmoon
Spiky Bushes - Taralon
Antares - Natura
Ocarion Feral - Archadoon
Atrox - Kyathis
Charles Wallace - Portshire

Last month we also welcomed Trouble (Jaedaxia), Catalyst (Demios) and Ryan (Terramarique) to the GMC.
