An Introduction To The Kemite City Of Music
Founded by the Kemite people,
Zinn’Sunn is the western hub of music, culture and art. It is a quiet city dedicated to honor and tradition, even though its population sits right around 50,000 people. Minimalist stone and oak-beamed architecture dominates the landscape of the city, starting with the massive wall that surrounds the entire city blending into the lofty pagodas, towers, city buildings, homes, parks and fountains.
Zinn’Sunn mixes its cold understated stone and wood structures with warm woven textures and bright colorful
spidersilk banners. Throughout the city, the citizens strike a balance, softening the hard, and hardening the soft.
Zinn’Sunn has in recent times become one of the great horse cultures of the west, breeding and training some of the swiftest and fiercest horses in the Empire; The
Nachakya. Its geographic placement has a strong influence on this development.
Located on the vast rolling hills and plains of The
Lauryllian Gracelands,
Zinn’Sunn has always been something of a hub city connecting
Mystique and
Ethgan'tor with the rest of the [wiki]Empire[wiki/]. Rather than having a heavily
Empire influenced city hierarchy,
Zinn’Sunn is decidedly lacking in nobility. Instead,
Kemite Clan structure dominates the city and has indeed divided it into separate five separate districts. Four of these districts are steeped in honor, tradition and are considered strongly ritualistic. They are made up of predominantly
Kemite peoples. This ceremonial way of life is extremely difficult for some foreigners to understand and relate well with. So as a result, the fifth district houses most of the non-Kemite population. Perhaps the most surprising fact about
Zinn’Sunn is the that the city is the absolute unopposed center for both
Zinn’ka and
Song teaching in the whole of the
Aelyrian Empire. And along with
arcana and martial arts, religion is held to a high extreme here. The entire city is composed primarily of
Aslanites.

A Note From The Moderation Staff of Zinn'Sunn
Zinn'Sunn has been designed to be a culturally rich RP interactive city. We have all sorts of locations and places for character development to occur. Within Zinn'Sunn, you will experience high culture with an asian type flare, unique foods, esoteric and high fantasy scenarios... and likely you will be touched by demons and angels alike who will come bearing gifts and curses. In Zinn'Sunn, we strive for epic level roleplay, but in doing so we first build foundations that give you as a player a better grasp of who your PC really is.
If you need an animal spirit guide, to talk to the dead, to confess your sins and receive a gift... if you have burning questions, and deep desires... Zinn'Sunn is the city for you. It is our goal to help you build businesses, gain employment, start a career and gain training. We want the PC's to succeed, but we want them to do so overcoming tremendous odds via sacrifice and adversity.
