First thing first, Happy New Year to everyone.

This said, please join me in welcoming Persephone to Midpoint (do look up at the moderator's list). With 2 GMs now overseeing Midpoint, this promises to bring good times for Midpoint and fellow players here.

Second thing, I know some have been expecting this, so I will keep this short. I am taking the opportunity to say my farewells to all of you. I am resigning next week, for the simple fact that while I can fight burnout, bad health is a different issue.

It has indeed been a pleasure to have been there with you all. I know there have been times I may have been difficult and such, but I am sure we have had good times together.

I treasure the memory of being with you all, and that at the end of the year, we stood together, firm and loyal, despite difficult times (and extreme shortage of moderators). It is not only us moderators that held Midpoint together. It is together, all of us, that did it.

There are now more of you who are equipped with the skills necessary to help your fellow comrades, as well as tools that allow you to do more things. Leaving on my part inevitably will be a loss, but do keep in mind, your PCs are now better developed and that I hope you all had fun, plus we have 2 GMs, 2 AGMs now (excluding me).

Thank you everyone for contributing your part as well . I hope you all had fun at events like the physical education from hell (yeah, you get to stretch your legs and run until you tongue comes out ), or the carolling thread.

Your deeds have not been forgotten either, and that there are already opportunities for your progress. If you notice you have got more work than others, the reason would be simple: because it reflects a certain level of trust as well.

All the best to everyone, and that I hope you will join me in cheering for Midpoint, to become the best military fortress in Alleria!

And to Sakura, I hope that you get better in the future. You are a good mod, and it was fun to partake in your threads (even though I kinda disappeared for a bit last quarter due to school). The lectures on strategy were particularly interesting. Doubly so after reading the Art of War. I hope all goes well.

Just since the topic has come up I will also be resigning Sylvan Mirath soon so I bid you farewell.

Sakura you have been wonderful and I wouldnt have made it this fare without you. I truely do hope you feel better on the medical part of your life. Thank you for everything and hope you have great things happen in your future.

That remains to be seen, Aktral . Do remember that while I may go, there are many changes happening in Midpoint that are also beneficial.

Many of your PCs have grown up and have become "stronger" and more developed, allowing you to have more opportunities to play significant roles within Midpoint and through it, the Empire. This will have a significant impact, if you choose to do something about it.

Second is that there are two GMs instead of one. The loss of an AGM like me may be significant, but the addition of another GM is just as significant .

Many of you now have the opportunity to be together and work together. Taking that opportunity and working things out together, would make it less likely for here to be quiet .

Welcome goes to the new GMs and a fond farewell to Sakura, who like all the other moderators here at Midpoint, has made my stay so far in Midpoint enjoyable. This is my third time to try my hand in Alleria, and the only time I've managed to stick with it for more than two monthes or so, and I like to think it has something to do with the moderation I was offered this time around by Sakura and the rest.

You've done a wonderfull job here and the only thing I regret is that I did not return to Alleria sooner so that I might have had longer to know you.
