Waiting in Malice (Semi Private)
OOC: A little bunny regarding accommodation; I’m just assuming I’d have somewhere to sleep.
While much had been going on outside the walls Duncan had merely been relaxing, time spread between sleep and practice with little else in between. Now he sat on the edge of his bed, mind once again focused outwards, scouring the city and the camps beyond, trying once more to catalogue the number and types of Magi around.
Why? Because it was a useful thing to know ones enemy and in the end Duncan suspected, not with any particular joy, that war would come, for even though he wasn’t looking to kill here he was willing to, a thought that made him feel even worse.
For as the colours of the essence plane swirled and the Archmage unobtrusively scanned around the camp with his full strength to prevent reprisal he was hoping for something; anything to give him an idea of what to do besides his ultimate, last ditch plan when the Orcs fell and the walls were nearly broken. For only then would the true fight begin and the most lives be lost, only then could he safely get to the Enamorian lines without having a thousand Orcs follow him.
