My own thread! How nice...

So, how will I use it best? Yes, I will go over the Aelyria things that I am busy about at the moment.

1.

I am working on my Mk'Gila /Gypsy draft - It is a new human sub-race or a culture write-up for the gypsy people. Take your pick on which one... If anyone would like to read or comment - it is in my signature.

2.

I have been recruited by Erolki and am going to meet Edward van Hagen at his Quarters - here. If he ever going to show up there...

3.

I am working on my FIRST self-training thread in Initiate Druidism. I basically started this thread with AGM Shelley but, as she is gone for the time being, I am takeing things into my hands. It is not very easy for me - who ever thought that modding a thread is that hard? My heart for the GMs. If you like to take a look into it and give me advice - look here.
Edit: Now that Shelley is back, I am going to hand this thread back to her professional hands and hope for the best...

"No!!!" Devinette heard herself yelling as she started to fall faster and faster. It was like a dream turning to a nightmare. And it was a dream.

Opening her eyes, the young child found herself in bed. The morning sun comes throw the opened window, followed by a nice breeze. "Came on, Dev. How long can you sleep? You had missed breakfast!" called a voice near her. Devinette turned to see her sister, S'rillia, standing beside her bed. S'rillia was a thin good-looking elf female with nice eyes and a long purple hair. Sometimes Devinette wished she had a hair like that not that stupid boring brown. Devinette get out from bed and changed her night cloth into a dress, a green dress. She put on her soft leather shoes and marched happily after her big sister.

"Is father home?" asked Devinette her sister. If father wasn't home, maybe they could play without being interrupted. "Yes, he is. Came on, Dev. He wants to see us, it wouldn't be good to let him wait…". So the two of them rushed along the house to the fairest room, their father's room. Stopping at the door, S'rillia knocked on it and they waited. After a moment their father opened the door and let them in.

Devinette looked curiously at the room. She was here only one time before and it was ten pattern's ago. The room was painted white and a big writing table was in the middle of it. A few chairs were on the room. On one of them sat a human. Devinette was shucked "What does it do here?" she asked, pointing at the human female. S'rillia didn't say a word, she was older the devinette and know already when to talk and when to close her mouth.

Her father's face went red and his voice was cold as he said "It is Alexandra. You would be polite to her. Am I making myself clear, Miss Devinette?". Devinette couldn't understand it, her father didn't like humans and he hardly spoke to them. "Yes, father." she said and bowed her head to him as a sign of respect. After that she took a look at the human.

The human female was fatter then S'rillia and even fatter then Devinette, which said something. Devinette was heavier in build then most of the elf she know. She most be around 65 kg... or even 70 kg... thought the child. Her ears were strange, they were round and not pointy. She was clearly in her middle age and some white hairs were between her dark hairs. Her eyes were dark and they had force in them. She wasn't weak...

Devinette moved a step back, she didn't like this... this HUMAN.

Devinette's father spoke coldly "Her name is Alexandra and she would take care of you , Devinette. She will be with you until you will be mature or... until she dies..." the last three words were said in a more gentile voice as he took a look at the female. But Devinette didn't notice it, and nor did S'rillia. Who had ever heard that a HUMAN would take care of an elf?! The Silrosian elven were mostly in touch with other elf and human, especially in this family, weren't trusted. Devinette closed her eyes.

I can't believe it... thought the child, but suddenly she wasn't a child anymore. She was a full grown woman in her 80's patterns. Memories moved in her head. Her anger when she discovered later that Alexandra was her real mother and the way she couldn't accept the fact that she wasn't a full elf but a half elf.

Meh. You only have to watch one thread. Try it when you're monitering a bunch... that's why I loved being an AGM. So much time, so little to post... I like the little write-up, though. Nicely done. And I quite agree, the GMs are great. Maybe one day, I'll be a GM... ah, the dreams of youth...

Welcome to the Legion, good to see another new recruit here!

I am terribly sorry about my lack of posting, it will keep up the following 2 days, but after that I should be able mass-post for a day or two and then go away for some days again. I know, this is probably the worst way of getting to know Edward but don't take it out on the poor guy, has everything to do with me, RL and nothing with my character.

Devinette's father sat strait in his chair, his eyes looking at devinette's eyes. They had the same eyes, vivid and green, that could almost look strait into your soul. Their eyes met as he said forcefully "You have done enough stupid things in your life and I will now tell you what will be:". He narrowed his eyes and continued "First, you are to send a letter to the LoJ and to the tavern to say that you resign from them. Second, you are to sell your house in Candaceburg. thirdly, you are to give me all your money and move back here so I will take care of your needs. Fourthly, you are to join the Combine so I would have a chance to find you a husband. I hope that they will accept you... You are... a little different after all..."

Devinette looked at her father. It was all or nothing... She had to decide. "Different? You mean I am Half-Elf, do you?" As her father's eyes widened and he started to protest, Devinette signed and nodded her head "No need to lie. I heard you and Alexandra talk one brightening, when she was dieing. Before you called her family to take her away so she could die with them. I know the truth, father...". She lowered her head and didn't look at his burning eyes "That is why you always cared more for S'illia then for me. She is a full elf and she was born inside marriage."

"I don't want to talk about it!" Devinette's father voice was cold as ice, but it didn't stop the young female. She raised her green eyes, so alike his, and said forcefully "But I do. And Before I will decide if I accept your offer, I want to hear about her. She is my mother, after all.". The word 'mother' had a strange taste in Devinette's mouth. She didn't say this word much before and wanted to know all about her, even thro she was a human. "She was a Gypsy, wasn't she?" she asked and her eyes was daring her father to tell her the truth.

"I don't know much about Alexandra and I don't want to know much! She was a mistake and I shouldn't had agreed to let her into my home!" said Devinette's father angrily. He moved from his chair in one fast step and walked in the room "I met her 81 patterns ago and she looked so good that I was tempted. I came back to her camp in the Arakmatan Frontierlands two patterns latter and found out about you. I couldn't leave my daughter to grow up with those... barbaric humans, so I took you with me.".

Stoping, he looked at Devinette's eyes coldly "It took her 4 patterns to find you but she did. She begged me to take you but I didn't care. She was a barbaric and I wanted to, I could kill her and nobody would care." Devinette moved uneasily in her chair. She didn't want to admit it, but sometimes her father was really cold and careless about people's life. He sat down and his face were emotionless and he added "But... I don't know how she convinced me to let her stay here. Maybe it was magic. I know that her people are ruthless..."

"Why didn't she tell me?" asked Devinette slowly "I told her that if she did I will kill her. I wanted to take out of you all the bad blood that was from her.". Devinette's father looked at her "If you are a good daughter you will stay here and do as I say you to" he said with a cold look.

Devinette jumped from her chair and started to circle the room as her father did before her. "If I am a good daughter I should stay her and do what you tell me?!" she yelled in anger and frustration. She stoped and her eyes were like good daggers when she looked at her father "I was a good daughter and never dawted you! I did all you told me to do and never stoped for a minute to think about it!".

Devinette's green eyes turned hot as fire "But were you a good father? You took my mother away from me and never told me about her! You didn't allow me to have friends and stay home all brightening!". She was tiered and hungry but didn't want to stop her shouts. Devinette's father laughed suddenly and raised from his chair, facing her "I was wrong by thinking I could take out your bad blood. You are emotional and ungrateful as all human are. You are more human then elf. I am ashamed to have you as a daughter. I don't want you in my house."

With those word, he turned to his chair and sat down. His face were cold as ice when he took a scroll from his table and started to read it. It was as if she was nothing. Gone like a thin air. Devinette looked at him, all her anger goes off. She felt sad and empty, in a way. She didn't want to stay here and he didn't was her to stay either. She had nothing at this house except for memories. And they will be gone soon.

devinette walked out of the room and from her past lifes.

I am so happy! I got a massage from Dunlaith Strongaxe (Shelly) and she gave me a companionship! I am soooooo happy!!!

). Aelyrians are kind, my Companionship (that ended) was given to me by Tel'rosa Shalder, after a discussion on chat, and It was the first time I ever spoke to her..ain't It a proof..
