Description:

Deep within the Dragon District lies a beige stone wall, solid and protective. It stands twice as high a the body of a kemite male, and stretches several acres to each side of a single walkway. This walkway, made of a simple yet elegant beige cobblestone, breaches this wall beneath an ornate pergola, flowers and vines of many different sizes and colors clinging to its every facet. The entrance itself is beautiful, a testament to the grandeur and radiance of the grounds inside.

Upon entering the estate, a visitor would find a picture of pure tranquility. The area itself is mostly green, lush and fertile, with grass covering almost every inch of the gently rolling ground. A stream can be seen running the length of the area, it’s waters slowly trickling to a gentle pond. The path splits here, and one can choose one of three different directions.

Some walk to the east, towards a gazebo overlooking the large pond. The structure itself could be considered a work of art. Designed to look like an ancient pagoda, almost every inch of the wooden gazebo’s frame contains greatly-detailed dragon designs. It is two story, and is a favorite resting place for the institution's clientele.

However, other’s walk to the west, towards the garden section of the estate. The area is covered with plant life of all shapes, sizes, and colors, with delicate bushes that follow the path’s every turn. Every few steps a stone bench can be passed, a few upon which pairs of seemingly star-crossed lovers can be found laughing and flirting.

The paths are frequented by many, some wealthy, some famous, some political, young and old alike. All are escorted by the beautiful women and handsome men of the Green Dragon. They are slaves, bought for beauty and educated for one reason: to educate. Rich Aelyrians from across the continent have been known to come to the Green Dragon. Here, they can learn, flirt and fall in love, all for a low price.

If this is the first time a visitor has made a trip to the institution, it is expected that they take the northern path. It walks up to the pond in the middle of the estate, gently curving itself around to meet the institution at the top of a gentle hill. It is a beautiful grey two story building, open faced and peering over the surrounding pond. Above the door hangs a simple sign which reads:

Welcome To The Green Dragon

The establishment itself is kept dust free and clean, it’s wooden floors covering the entire premises. Most of the walls inside are fusumas, sliding walls made of paper and wood, though some wooden walls exist to allow a certain amount of privacy.

Upon entering, one will be greeted by the house scribe, bookkeeper, and greeter, Vlhadim, a short but stocky kemite. His is overweight, chubby cheeks glistening as he smiles at all new arrivals.

“Welcome, welcome!”

“First things first! Though our employees be beautiful and enticing: mind your manners! We do NOT deal in the selling of bodies here! No no! We are a glorious institution of tutors, teaching anything a person would want to be taught! All of our beautiful ladies and strapping lads have been educated to the utmost extent, and are ready to teach everything from proper social conduct to advanced theology. We request that you pay for a slot of time with one of our beautiful intellectuals up front. The slot of time you will spend with our employees depends entirely up to you, or rather, your ledger book!”

“We offer tutors of all shapes and sizes, so feel free to take the time needed to make your selection. A few rules, however, before we set you up with a teacher of your dreams:”

“Number One: If any of our employees are harmed in any way, expect to be visited upon with the same!”

“Number Two: The amount of time purchased must be spent within the walls surrounding the premises.”

“Number Three: NO REFUNDS! If you choose to waste your time conversing over matters of infatuation rather than matters of education, you have only yourself to blame.”

For the most part, visitors and clientèle of the Green Dragon will associate with the businesses greeter, Vlhadim, leaving this persona shrouded in mystery. He keeps to himself, but is always willing to speak over matters of business. Vlhadim Maka (Bookeeper/Greeter)

Secrets : Name: Vlhadim Maka Race, Age & Gender: Kemite, 42, Male Character Description: Vlhadim is a happy kemite of 42. His skin has paled over the years of working inside of the Green Dragon, as he spends long hours at his desk rather than outside. He is balding, the top of his head glistening, though dark hair remains as a ring around his skull. His personality holds strong. His is a very happy individual, always looking for a good laugh. However, his sense of humor stops at the mention of the Green Dragon, for he takes his job very seriously. He rarely speaks of his employer, Tonotat Tomaku, as if by request. For the most part, most of the clientèle of the Green Dragon believe Vlhadim himself to be owner. Most patrons of the establishment are on a first name basis with the portly kemite, who can usually be seen either talking to customers, or shoving expensive snacks into his mouth. Okay this looks really great. Some basic rules of thumb though... make sure your NPCS are well rounded, and try not to give them more than level 3... level 4's are really really rare and level 5's need help desk ticketing. I know you don't have any of these, but I'm just feeding you basic realmcraft 101.

This looks great. I'd also teach what Eyvind suggested.

The only change I'd make would simply be this. Basic skills only take a cycle to learn. Thats a game wide rule. You should cut back the two cycle slot to one for those, but you should also teach basic of the advanced skills or say they are taught 'up too advanced' etc. Remember, to teach a skill, you need one level above for the NPC to teach one level below... so with your level 3 npcs, the only thing you can teach is up to level 2 skills... unless you have 'special arrangements' and drag out a special NPC for use once in a while if someone wants a level 3 thread .

Otherwise, this is fantastic work for a first time realmcraft! Go Maven! You are doing awesome.
