The Ivory Wings Universitas dormitories were set some distance apart from the actual schools. Following a path that led between The Institute for Higher Learning and The Academy of Mind and Fire, one would come to a large three-story building made of wood and painted in the same manner as the Academy: fiery orange red, with a black roof.
The first floor of the dormitory held the reception office, lounges for studying and relaxing, the kitchens, and the large dining room, where those who had paid for board would receive rosyun and pracenda each brightening. The marble floors underfoot had seen the footsteps of many brilliant young students in the eras before.
The second and third floors of the dormitory were reserved for students' rooms. Based on how much the student in question was willing to pay, they could board on their own or with up to three other students. These floors were laid with dark carpet, and the walls were painted a more muted ivory as opposed to the bright color of the building's exterior. Each room was furnished with a comfortable bed and a sturdy wooden desk and chair for each resident. There were also drawers, bookshelves, and nightstands for the students' belongings. The smaller rooms had one window that opened onto the beautiful scenery around the dormitories, and the larger rooms had two or even three (if they were giant-sized). Washrooms and bathing areas were spaced evenly along each floor so that there were approximately ten students to each.
Students who wished to seek residence and board would come to the dormitories after enrolling in their classes. The dormitories were reserved for students who were currently enrolled.
A young human woman named Elysia controlled the front desk. Her dark, smoky features indicated Arakmatan Nairu descent. She kept the papers neatly filed in the drawers of her imposing oak desk, and forms of every possible kind filled the baskets behind her. To the left were the common rooms, to the right was the dining room, and behind her were the huge marble stairs that led upwards to the dormitories.
