Flaming Furball! (Spax)
Imperos, Autumn, fourteenth brightening, early morning.
The next brightening, the Universitas most popular instructor ambulated into the Universitas with graceful strides, her head in a wig to match her mood. Her flowing blond locks fell to the small of her back, her eyes a sharp emerald. She looked around and waited for her new student, Spax was his name, a little lutran fella. Lutrans were so adorable-- if only she could chain one up and have it as her pet. Dogs, cats, and cows were boring, these creatures were fun!
She straightened out her flowing teal robes and crossed her sinfully long and toned legs as she waited, tapping her fingers on the clerk's desk. The clerk of course did not mind the sound of nails banging against his wooden desk. To him, it was a melody, from an angel.

This is it! Today is the day in which I embark on my journey to unlimited power and wealth!... or at least fun stuff, Spax thought to himself as he threw himself off his bed in a big heap of pillows and covers. He was so excited that the little Lutran almost walked out of his house naked, until he felt a slight breeze somewhere where a slight breeze shouldn't have been if he were looking decent. That was when he ran back inside his house and threw on his most comfortable clothes, no shirt and shorts that seemed two sizes to big for the little otter-man. He may not have been the most attractive Lutran on the block that brightening, but he sure was the most comfortable.
It only took him a few moments to reach the academy, simply because he was darting between legs and pushing through the crowds that thronged the streets of Demios. He heard a few harsh retorts as people were pushed aside unwillingly to make way for the excited Lutran, but Spax just tilted his head back towards the angsty citizen and gave them a wink with his enveloping blue eyes. He didn't really think anyone could get mad with the Lutran, or any Lutran for that matter. Spax was just to irresistible to get mad at; the way his pelt glittered under the sun, the way his eyes made people melt, the way his jokes cracked others up, the way his tail gently brushed against others. He was just such an amazing package, Spax almost overwhelmed himself.
It did take him a little bit of time to find his instructor, as he realized that he had forgotten to ask the clerk where to look. Luckily, all of the students and teachers were very helpful and were able to point the Lutran to exactly where he was yesterday. Spax would have smacked himself over the head if he wasn't in the presence of such a beautiful lady. He wondered for a moment if maybe a goddess had arrived to teach him wonders beyond the mere imagination of normal society.
"Umm.. Serale, my name is umm.. oh yeah it's Spax!" Spax couldn't help but stutter and look like a small pocket-sized fool. "Am I the luckiest Lutran to have a goddess be my instructor by any chance?" If those words had come from a human's mouth then they might have seemed like flirting words, yet Spax said it in such a way that resembled such authenticity it was hard to really see if his intention was flirting or getting to the truth.

It wasn't like his twigs and berries would be a sin to behold, exposed to the elements. Society should stop being so iffy about nudity-- freak the Lutran was a furry humanoid-- did he really need pants or clothes? But before this became an essay regarding society's flaws, one returned to the topic at hand-- the lutran about to wield fireballs in his furry paw hands. His instructor gave her new pet one glance and almost had a seizure-- he was irresistibly adorable. She wanted to rub his tummy, feed him sardines all day, and just curl up and nap with him-- who cared that he paid her 400 crowns for lessons-- arcana was over-rated anyway.
"You must be Spax, serale."
The clerk behind them rolled his eyes. Rayra flipped long fingers through her blond curls and bent her knees to look the creature in his cute eyes.
"I am lucky too to have such an enthusiastic fellow as my student. Now come, let's take a walk. I take my students all over Demios to learn elementalism-- where else to better learn than learn when one is one with the elements?" She waved at the clerk and signaled for the lutran to follow her, their first destination, the calm beaches by the shore of endiness.
"Tell me," Rayra asked as she sat on a bench overlooking the waters, warm sand caressing her toes under her sandals. "What do you know of arcana? And unbinding? Because when you are ready, I shall first unbind you. Just so you know, not everyone is successfully unbound and we'll just have to see if you are one of the lucky ones. You know you are unbound when you fall into a deep slumber and have dreams or visions."
She explained to him that when he was ready, she would unbind him and he would have dreams, visions, dancing female lutrans in his head what not upon a successful unbinding, and then sleep for a few candlemarks-- Rayra would then take a dip in the beach whilst waiting for her student to awake.
