Grand Opening of The Firecrest General Shop

The sign was big in colorful letters of the shop. On the shop wall it read Firecrest and in smaller letters, underneath Firecrest, read General Shop .

The building was clean, the walls were newly scrubbed and cleaned and the floor in front of the shop and had been recently swept. A door stood open and as you enter you are greeted with a fine forest smells. Plants and roses decorated the shop; they were a present from Theraz's Herbal Garden in Zerdargia.

There were shelves all around and items lined the shelves ranging from general items, to weapons to foods and jewelry. There was a large counter and behind it was a backroom. A sign above and on the counter read Firecrest General Shop . Standing behind the counter a clerk smiles at you. “What can I do for you?”

Elle paces the length of the shoppe.. inspecting every last corner, and every bit of merchandise on the shelves. She takes a moment to smile over the plants.. finding them a nice touch.
So this is to be my livelihood, Eh, Hawk? Not too bad. I'll need help with it though... Should put up a hiring sign in the window.

[Rishk]

After purchasing his new home, Rishk new he would need some supplies. He did not want to live in an empty house, even if he did not want to be lavish. Approaching the counter, he waiting for the clerk (Elle?) While waiting, he put one elbow up on the counter, and resptect his chin in his hand. When the clerk arrived, he smiled.

"Serale, I see you have just opened, and figured I might at well come check out your merchandise. I recently bought a new house and need some stuff to fill it... An empty house is boring..." he said. "Well, here is my list. I don't know what of it you'll have, but we'll see."

Rishk handed the clerk a piece of paper.

3) One lock to fit this chest, any quality.

6) A desk, 2 drawers minimum.

8) A small lock picking set... Just kidding.
9) Nine house plantsThree large, three medium, three small.
10) Ten Days rations.
11) Two bedrolls.
12) Two wool blankets.
13) Two cotton blankets.
14) One Silk Blanket.
15) Two silk pillows.
16) Three fifty foot ropes.
17) Two black, one dark grey tunic.
18) Two black pairs of pants.
19) One pair of black pants, with pockets, on the sides. Right above the knees, two back pockets, ankle pockets, and regular side pockets. (ooc: Like modern day cargo pants)
20) One tight black shirt, material that breaths well.

While the clerk read the list, Rishk turned his head toward all the merchandise, already trying to spot the equipment he needed.

[Lucian DiVilli]

On a walk about Imperia Lucian noticed the freshly painted

sign of a shop. The cleaniness of the building picked at

Lucians curosity. Something fresh and clean came to the

dirty city of Imperia. He decided to take a look.

Ahh... a new shop. Might as well check it out. I do

need some writing supplies

Upon entering the shop Lucian noticed a recent

friend of his, Priven. This must be one of the

enterprises he was speaking of. Taking in the aroma

of the fresh plants and flowers, he was taken in to fond

memories of life in a more viberant arrea. Walking to the

counter he waited to be acknowleged.

"Serale, Brother. Good to see you again. So this is one of

the enterprises you spoke of. Looks great, I was just

interested in purchasing some supplies. Hopefully I could

get a fair deal on some writing utensils. Was looking to

get a journal and a pen."

[Pirvan Kaldres]

Elle: Pirvan smiled, "yes this is to be yours. Me put a hiring sign up? My dear Princess you know I would never lift a finger to help you." Laughing at his joke he winked at her and turned to the customers entering the shop.

Rishk: Noticing Rishk looking at Elle, Pirvan nodded. "She will soon be the manager but for now, I will tend to your needs sir." Pirvan remembered the face; he had spotted him as he was leaving the bank. Accepting the list Pirvan looked it over, he was about to call over someone to start fetching the items when he realized there was no one else but him and Elle. Snickering at Elle he went to fetch the items.

It took a while but surely Pirvan came back to the counter, after fetching the items slowly piece by piece. Frowning Pirvan pointed off a few thing. "I could get four wooden chairs, a desk, 2 drawers minimum, a dresser, 2x3 drawers or 1x4 drawers. I apologize and will make up for this lack of items." Smiling Pirvan tallied everything up and handing Rishk the list he stated the total. "765 Crowns ad that comes up to 700 Crowns, a discount you know, for your first visit and these" placing the last item the lock-pick set on the counter he smiled. “are free.”

Lucian: Pirvan bowed to Lucian as he entered. "Serale to you also brother. Yes this is it, ad for writing supplies right away." Heading into the back for a second Pirvan emerged with three quills, an ink jar and a journal. "335 Crows but a small discount of course for your first visit, which brings it down to 300 crowns. Journals are expensive as paper is now starting to make its weight.”

[Lucian DiVilli]

Lucian's eyebrows raised in mock astonishment. He is

a scoundrel. Removing his bank notes he counts out

the last 150. Shaking his head he looks to Pirven.

"I just needed a simple notebook and pen to write down my

notes. These must be enlayed in gold, some of the local

parchment will do. I have 150 crowns left. If we can not

work anything out, I will have to find some where else.

Well, I will be heading out of town on errand later this

cycle."

He causualy states the last sentance to himself. Gazing

into the eyes of Pirvin, Lucian looks for a fair deal.

OOC: lol, I guess they need to update that Price List in the HoA.

IC: Pirvan laughed long and hard while accepting the 150 Crowns. "This'll do just fine, just fine." Smiling he handed Lucian his items. He didn't hear the last sentence but it didn't matter he wasn't trying to lose customers.

Elle smiles with the arrival of customers already, and she crosses her arms, as Pirvan silently trods back and forth filling the long list Rishk presented him. This dissolves into giggles towards the end, and while she would happily have helped Lucian with his journal and ink, watching Pirvan do this as well causes her face to go bright red from holding in laughter.
Not a finger, eh?

[Ghost]

Laughing Pirvan suddenly made his eyes go big. "Err I gotta go." Flashing a mischevious grin Pirvan dashed from the shop. Hehehe. Laughing to himself he left Elle to her work. He had to get ready to depart...

Rishk was surprised to see Pirvan(though he doesn't know his name) in the shop. He had seen the same man walking out of the aedile's office when he went to buy his house. Perhaps he had just bought this building?

After seeing how complete the list was, Rishk became even more surprised. the best part, and yet most befuddling were the lock picks. Most of the time a person who wanted these particular tools would get arrested for their possession, yet this man gave them to him after a joke. Perhaps there was more to this scene than he had origionally thought.

"Why thank you very much Sir. I'll definatly pay your price, especially after the bonus items you happened to come across. Were they here when you arrived?" he said, the last part with a slight but sly smile, [/b]"And what is your name kind Sir, I have a feelings we'll see more of each other?"[/b]

While waiting for his answer, Rishk counts out the money owed, plus a little extra, making a total of 750. (ooc: Easier for records keeping lol)

Lucian nods approvingly as Pirven accepts his offer.

Generous business man, knows how to take care of his

customers. He scans over the parchment and pen, it was

worth the amount he paid if not more. Lucian would have

liked to stay and chat for a bit, but Pirvan looked like he

was about to leave. Having to get ready for his own trip,

he placed his new possesions in his traveling pack.

"Thank you, Bro. I will surely visit your place again, and

send others your way. Looks fairly busy good news for

business. Been getting into any trouble lately? It has been

good seeing you, but I do need to run. I have some

obligations I must attend to. Peace be unto you."

[Elle Kaldres Lothain]

Elle watched Pirvan walk off in the midst of the transaction. Pushing herself away from the counter, she nods to Lucian.
Thank you for your trade, sir. I'll look forward to seeing you here again, hopefully soon. She smiles prettily. Turning to Rishk.. She guesses she's left to explain the presence of the lock picks. yay. She accepts the 750 crowns, and adds them to the 150 from Lucian as he moves out the door. Now alone with Rishk.
In fact, there was little here when we entered this building. We gave it quite a good cleaning before moving in the stock.. An interesting thing, yes? Perchance do you know what to do with them? She tilts a curious gaze at the citizen's face.

[Rishk]

Rishk smiled as lop-sided a smile as a katta could give.

"I may be able to use them, but I doubt I would tell a stranger about that. Maybe you'll have to find out another time. Do you mind if I leave some of this stuff here for now. I can't carry it all at once."

[Elle Kaldres Lothain]

She chuckles softly
Well of course you can leave your things here, but if you plan to take more than two days to transport it out, I'll have to charge you a storage fee. Five crowns per week.
And since you have to come back to pick it up, maybe I can find out more about you then.
She leans against the counter, watching him, always with a pleasant smile on her face.

Rishk smiled. "Well then I guess I'll see you again. Good thing too, I'd hate to miss out on seeing that smile again." he said, after picking up the clothes and putting some of the items in his pack, then left without waiting for an answer.
