"Good day to you too" She didn't leave, but stayed to make sure Emiko would be alright. She didn't want to start a fight either, but she would if she had too. She clutched her quill as if it was a weapon. Well, you know what they say. The pen is mightier than the sword.

Emiko looked at Xanthos with a new respect. She had never seemed to Emiko as this bold an adversary.
"Xanthos, no. I see no reason for a fight, I only wish to be friends...I don't want any enemies...though this IS Imperia, so I don't know why I'm saying that." she laughed nervously. "I only want to have Chex here as a friend...not somebody who will deter me from coming in here. Come on, let's go. Good day." Emiko clamped her hand on Xanthos' arm, and steered her out forcefully from the shop, leaving Chex with a very odd expression on her face.

Greeper quickly shuffled in, he only needed one thing for one party this darkening, and it was only one crown! He didn't even need to dip into the 100 he recieved through unknown means! Score! He asked for the cake of lavander soap, recieved it, paid the crown, then he was gone again!

Summer, Midday, Thirty-fifth Brightening of Cryxatum, Era XI Post Fractum

It was her first time wandering the city of Imperia, and more importantly, her first time away from home. Wherever that was. She wandered down the streets looking for a shop to buy the supplies she needed to make it on her own.

"Excuse me," she nodded to the person at the counter with her usual smug sneer. "I need a few wares. How about we start with:

1 Plain Wool Coat
1 Pair of Riding Gloves
1 Bed Roll
and 1 Cooking Pan."

She smiled to herself. That should be enough to at least make it out of Imperia and on her way to another city. Maybe she would go to Primus Gaudeo, or maybe not. Tai hadn't made up her mind; she only knew that she wanted to leave.

Chex looked up and smiled at the new customer. The smile was forced as she noted the pointed ears, but she held her face for the sake of her position. Chex nodded at each item. She walked around from the counter and picked up the items requested, counting up prices as she went.

"Your total is 6o crowns, please." Chex set the items on the counter and waited expectantly.
