Ok, I certainly don't know whether the article contradicts or supports previous Aelyrian history or anything of the sort. I just would like to say that I loved reading it and that it would be great to have it as the true story (or even 'myth story') of the creation of the dracon race. Kudos to Kour'el.
Also, as the player (admittedly a rather new one) of a dracon PC, I was already under the impression that dracons where created by Cyraxians and not a naturally occurring race, and that the fact was even common knowledge (for dracons at least). Of course, that could be a widespread misconception. But it does seem difficult if at the same time we have living beings of that purported age among ourselves.
Well, whichever way this resolves in the end, I just wanted to say that I liked the story a lot and would love to read the rest of it.

so... lets ask them? lol
Lets get one of the OLD NPC's or PC's and ask them how we were created. It would make it a concrete role-played action.

Seconded. That'd be a wonderful idea. ^^
I like the dark edge this story has, though. It really fits dracon lore well.

The oldest dracon PC is Z'kron. The oldest dracon NPC is the broodmother; who was Kourel's NPC- and who has already told part of this story IC before.
The question is, would the things we said be considered legit? This story was something of an attempt to lay out the guidelines so it could be rped out IC. Without the guidelines, it's tough to proceed.

In truth i like the history as it was writen down. I also want to hear the rest of the story IN THIS FORM. Dracon lore is sorely lacking and it is through actions like this the we as pc's can come together and personally edit if not create the background behind one of the strangest yet more diverse types of race around.
Its easy to read, Indepth and it draws the person in. Also how as a memory of a npc this can not be classified as a creatation story. It would be better classified as a historical Biagoraphy. You know kinda like the works that the ancient greek historians wrote during the persian and peoposian wars.
Overall it doesn't break anyone of the historical background that was already placed down (though i thought that the dragon didn't die and that the demon/whatever stole the eggs, not win them by killing the dragon).
Also i think its about time that a thing like this is made. How as a race could dracons progress if a full history (or atleast half a history ) isn't made?
Last but not least i apoligize for poor spelling, any one that is offended (though i think that i've done a good job not offending anyone) and for maybe being behind and posting on topics that may be off topic or already covered (hope that everything i said is relevant)

I've been unable to get in contact with Juan over this; should we ask the GDs for a bit of guidance, do you think? It'd be nice to get back to developing draconi history once we know what's happening.

If that's the case, try poking Tarot since the WF is his domain.
Doing the finishing touches on the section about the war and Diana freeing them.

Message sent; hopefully we'll know one way or another fairly soon. Though I do feel bad for bugging Tarot- he's a nice chap

No worries, Z'kron. It's my job, after all.
So, after discussing this with Juan, I think we have the following compromise...
1) Cyraxian element in Dracon creation and biology is okay (at least one Cyraxian.) It also serves as main motivation behind racism against Dracons.
2) The Broodmother is okay.
3) The Broodmother's memories might be incorrect in part, though. The extent to which they are is unknown to me.
I believe this can save everything that was roleplayed to this day and still allow any number of new developments regarding Cyraxians. Any thoughts on this?

Tarot:
Thanks for protecting the dracon players first and foremost. Having Cyttoraxis as the only cyraxian present for the race's birth is fine, since any of his underlings mentioned were merely minor demons. As for the Broodmother's memories being incorrect, that's also fine, given she is 850+ eras old and most people have trouble remebering things day to day.
That said, with the history protected from whatever else Juan decides to do with his races, the article will be continued, and the next sections will be added to this thread when I get them typed up and formatted.
