PRINCE MILO TO HOLD CELEBRATORY BALL

The offices of His Royal Highness, Prince Milo I have issued the following statement to the Herald.

"We are delighted to announce that His Royal Highness has decided to mark the first Brightening of Spring with a celebration. In the same way that Spring symbolises birth and new beginnings, His Royal Highness wishes to mark the birth of a new Kingdom and the promise it brings of a brighter and more prosperous future to all of the peoples of the Realm. To mark the occasion he will be hosting a formal celebration in the Royal Palace.

A Public Holiday will be declared throughout the Kingdom and in the coming cycle formal invitations will begin to arrive for numerous prospective guests be they official, dignitary or ordinary citizen. The Ball will be held on the 1st brightening of Spring. "

Alongside this official statement, there has been some intelligence which suggests that there is another reason for this celebration. His Royal Highness is said to be considering suitors for his sister, Princess Nikki, and will be welcoming expressions of interest from suitable parties.

The newly formed Office of Public Relations promises to keep us at the Herald informed of the details of this celebration as they unfold.

The Thirty-fifth Brightening of Melora in the Winter of Era XV

The Royal Palace has issued a request to the offices of the Herald that it should please advise the public that due to scheduling concerns, the Celebratory Ball to be hosted by Prince Milo I as previously announced shall be postponed until the First Brightening of Summer of Era XV. Those invitations having been previously received should be regarded as such as per date with attending apologies for any inconvenience that may arise as a result, and subsequent invitations shall be dated accordingly.
