[Realm] The Red Island Reopens His Ports

	An Article By the Traveler's Tribunal Following the reopening of the White Island Ieffreon, Capitol of the Nesocratic Federation of Eunesia, the other Island Cities of the Nesocratic Federation had began the process of reopening their ports to the Mainland Empire; with the latest being the Red Island of Secyclionia. Secyclion, Eastern most Island of Eunesia had been lauded as one of the best spots on the Empire to witness the sunrise and sunsets, coining the term -- The 'Secylionian Sunsets'. As the Romantics of Jaedaxia might say, "Travelers to Secyclion, and the viewing of the Secyclionian Sunsets on every available perch, platform or wall is almost de rigenur." While rumors and standards fluctuate from time to time, the most agreed upon spot to view the Secyclion Sunset is on Tower Hellios, the Light Tower of the Red Island. The Red Island is essentially what remains of an enormous volcanic explosion, destroying the earliest settlements on what was formerly a single island entity far larger than the current landmass, and leading to the creation of the current geological caldera. Natives would claim that Secyclion was the birthplace of Eunesia, with physical evidence to proof that civilization did occur long before the current settlers of the Island came to be. Buildings such as Troulous Apo Mitera suggest that a far more ancient civilization had existed, predating the Elves of Silrosia. Natural monuments such as volcanoes and geyser springs, together with the breathtaking and paranomic view of Secyclion mythical beaches draw a large percent of tourists every Era, drawn simply by the natural and exotic beauty that is uniquely Secyclionian. The vastly different Island landscape also hosts its own wildlife and flora, supporting a myriad of species that are native to the Island. Numerous bird sanctuaries are home to migratory species, and the occasional sighting of the extremely rare Aelyrian Warbirds had to drawn bird watching enthusiasts to the Red Island. Arthro Galanos, Secyclion's prime, jeweled district offers another kind of experience for the affluent and wealthy, enjoying the fineries and best wares that the Island has to offer; and tours around beautiful and wondrous architectures including the Island's very own Art Salon while being dazzled by performances that can't quite be found in the rest of the Isles. Must visits include the Menagerie, Templum of Markalin and the Amphitheathron, while performances by the Magician and the famous singer Calliope should also be detailed in schedules. Secyclion's greatest draw, however is the famed nightlife that had made it's mark around the region, boasting a long string of bars along spectacular beaches, floating dance platforms and music that never ceases. The Main, one of the most populous tourist spots, had more than once been hailed as the hottest and most exciting nightspots on the Empire; a place where 'anything and everything goes'. Secyclion also offers trips to the droves of offshore Islands that are shrouded in local legends and myths, while providing tourists a chance to escape into privacy, yet still enjoy the Islandic life to the fullest. In recent Eras, however, pirates had taken over an entire District of Neos Megalis, the 'Floating City', and secured a political and economic foothold over the District. Local authorities are unavailable to comment on the current status, though these pirates more or less seem to have taken over the position of Overlords, seeing about the Brightening to Brightening affairs of the District, dictating policies and effectively birthing a pirate haven for their brethren.
