The Infirmary of the Blessed Hands Temple
The building stood about 50 feet from the back of the beautiful Temple of the Blessed Hands. Its architecture was similar to that of the Temple, though not so grand being only one story. However, marble arches denoted it as a buildling of substance and the wooden door was large and heavy, so that one entering it realized that the infirmary was a place of healing and reverence also.
Immediately to the right you would see the office of the Head of Medicine and Herbology, Joyau delaLune. The 2'9" sprite was there only when having to do her paper work, which she hated. She was much more likely to be flitting or walking amongst her patients in the infirmary for she was a dedicated healer, who thought more of her patients, than she did of herself.
Joyau wore a long white robe, a symbol of her position within the Temple and its infirmary. She prefered to walk around inspecting the sterile white wards. Inside the infirmary there were six beds in each ward. Usually only one ward was needed, but the others were there in readiness should some sort of catstrophe occur and they were needed. Miss delaLune's staff consisted of orderlies and some other healing students.
Beside her office which was paneled in light pine was a large room. The name on the door was Dispensary. Upon entering you would see shelves filled with herbal medications. It was Miss delaLune's responsibility to make sure they had on hand any medications needed for just about any sickness or injury. The bottles were all labled in her neat handwriting, and her herbology scrolls were laid out neatly on a table in the dispensary for ready reference to each remedy.
