Well here it goes [Conservatory]

She had no ideal how long she had been walking though the woods looking for the conservatory. But if the few leaves that found their way into her hair were any sort of sign it had been a while. She had set gerself on a fallen tree to try and figure out exactly where it was she was going when she heard it.

It was the sound of faint music and when one is looking for a conservatory the best thing to do is follow the sound of music. It was a farily short walk when she came upon a large stone building. With any luck she had found what she was looking for otherwise she had no idea where she was. She approached she was taken back the the care put into the garden and wondered breifly how long it would take to make something like those hedges.

The door seemed to be open slightly and so she sliped inside as quickly and quietly as possible before she changed her mind. Glancing around she took in the room which wasn't like anything she had ever seen before. Not quiet knowing she to do walked forward a bit opening to find something that would give her some clue as to what to do.

[Alphonsus]

”Wrong wrong wrong! Can’t you see that you’re doing it all wrong!” Came an exasperated voice in the tongue of the elves, as Keegan entered the room. It was surely an odd looking room, it was like nothing she would ever think she would see in the Bardic Conservatory. The house was a big mess. ”I want it properly done as soon as I’m back!”

A door opened to the left of Keegan and an elf stepped out with dust all over her. She looked at Keegan and blushed deeply. ”Serale. We were trying to repair this house and those silly people can’t get anything right!” She said softly in common. ”Oh, right, erm… May I know if I can help you in anything at all? Are you here to repair this house?” She then shook her head when she appraised Keegan further. ”Hmmm, guess not… So I presume it’s to learn then? Might I ask what you wish to learn? Arcana or just the simple playing of an instrument? A flute? Or a harp maybe?”

She looked at Keegan, smiling patiently when a loud boom occurred from the other room. ”Can’t they do anything right!” She muttered to no one in particular as she looked around the house. The windows were badly fixed, the table looked wobbly, and the chairs seemed unstable enough for a fae to sit. She sighed and wondered why she hadn’t sought professional help earlier for these repairs. She then turned her attention back to Keegan, wondering if she was ready to make her decision.

[Keegan Shadowsong]

She was quiet taken back by the scene before her. It wasn't like what she had expected to see once she had arrived. To be honest she wasn't sure what she had expected to see but this wasn't it. It seemed every much like any place a person could see any where and not where one would think to see bardic or any sort of teaching or training for that matter.

She glanced around and saw there was indeed work that needed to be done, but the elf was correct in the fact that she was not there for that. "I'm afraid I am not here to help you with the repairs. Its never really been my area of interest. However I would enjoy to take up your offer on the harp playing. If it is not to much trouble that is."

[Alphonsus]

"Oh, harp playing... That... would be most distressing." The female elf scratched her vivid red hair. "We can offer many teachers to teach, and if time permits, maybe Auhren himself would appear to teach you, but... The problem is..." She paused, and wondered how could she begin.

"The Conservatory of Music had taken hold of all our learner harps due to a sudden influx of people who wish to play the harp, and the others with our own students... " The elf tilted her head a little and appraised Keegan. "Care for a little challenge maybe? Seek the Conservatory of Music in the village of Natura, and attempt to borrow a harp from them. The easy way out, actually, there're two. One, you may wish to purchase the harp yourself, and two, you could enroll with the Conservatory for a minimal fee... Saying thus, though Auhren take all students..."

The lady paused for another while, attempting to rephrase her words. "Well, he prefer the hardworking and strong willed type to a talented musician." She smiled tiredly as another crash came from the back. "Hmmm, and you might need to help us here and there as well..."

[Keegan Shadowsong]

Stoped to think about what to do. She needed a harp and the woman just told her that they looked more favorably on the people who take things into their own hands. And how hard could it be to borrow a harp from some one. All she had to do was put her best foot forward and even if they didn't have one they would surely know where she could find one.

"I'll find a harp some where. And then I'll come back and perhaps we can speak again about what can be done."

[Alphonsus]

"Fine then." The lady nodded approvingly.Serale till then!

She brought Keegan through the door and escorted her directly to the conservatory of music, and left for Bubba's General Store for more, much needed equipment.

If Keegan entered the Conservatory, she would meet a person who introduced himself as Gel, a harp maker. "Serale!" Gel would say. "Fancy that, another wish to be student have come. I have just sent them a batch of my finest beginner harp, which would easily cost 120 crowns per pieces. I still have several of them in my store, but I would like Avrie take care of sales for me. Well, so long then."

She set and wondered how exactly she was going to talk her way into a harp. It had seemed like an easy enough thing to do when she was talking about it. But now it seemed a bit more challenging. There would be very few people that would be willing to part with a harp unless they were either tired of it or happened to have an extra laying around. She was dountfull that either was the case but she had to try. The worst thing that would happen is that she won't be able to talk her way into one and she would end up having to buy one.

After what seemed to be a much briefer walk she approached what seemed to be the right place. Throwing her shoulders back she opened the door walked inside and glanced around, clearing her throat as a well to signal her presence.

[Alphonsus]

A young elf came running up with a stack of papers. "Vedui! Have you came to register yourself as a student? You have came to the right place, as a new class is about to start soon. And guess what?" He flipped through the pages. "You're the lucky one with our final harp! The other two we have in stock are, regretfully broken."

The elf held his pen out and peered at Keegan. "So are you joining our harp class, or are you here for something else?"

[Keegan Shadowsong]

She blinked at the elf for a second before grasping what was going on. If that was the last harp it was good that she came when she did. She wondered how hard it had to be break a harp. I suppossed it had to do with how well the harp was made.

"As a matter of fact I have. I do I sign up here or must I do it else where. Luckily I here when I did?"

[Alphonsus]

"Yes, yes, you can sign up here. Just place your name here, and the instrument you wish to learn, and the fee." The elf smiled happily and passed Keegan a form.

"Hope that's alright with you? You need not take the theory class if you do not wish to... The theory classes are for those who wish to learn more theoritically, nothing else..." The elf explained smilingly, while waiting expectantly for Keegan's answer.

She took a moment to stop and think about it. If she wanted to anything else involving music she could always do so later on and she was here now. "Thats fine. I'll go ahead and sign up here."

The elf gladly took the 50 crowns from Keegan (ooc: Please deduct accordingly) and asked for her name and such.

"If everything on this form looks good to you, head over to room 'Allegro' where Miss Tanya would be found." The elf nodded at Keegan, and after she confirmed that everything was already, he guided her towards the classroom.

In the classroom.

A lanky female half elf, dressed in a gem studded blue dress sat with her eyes closed in the front of the room. If Keegan had decided to take a closer look at her, Keegan would had noticed that the half elf had actually painted her lips blue to match her dress, though the blue would seem to clash horribly with the half elf's flaming red hair.

The half elf opened her cool blue eyes slowly as Keegan took her seat, in front of the class. "Serale and Vedui everyone. I am Tanya, as I am sure most of you already know. It's my pleasure that you are in my class." Tanya spoke musically. "It would be difficult for me to teach without knowing your name, so please introduce yourself if you don't mind."

The first student, a human male, stood up and decleared in a loud but clear voice. "I'm Edwin Edgar, a soldier hailing from Aelyria Prime. I have came here for a short break and decided to take on my long term wish of studying the ways of the harp."

The second student, a elven female, began her introduction in a musical voice, comparable to Tanya. "I am Wanda Vishaka, and I come from Primus. I am learnt in the ways of a flute, and I wish to persue my future of music by learning more instruments."

Tanya nodded at the two's introduction and looked at Keegan. It was her turn to introduce herself now.

[Keegan Shadowsong]

It took her second to notice they were waiting for her to speak. She was caught up in thoughts of how Tanya could have ever thought doing that to her lips was a good idea. She was however keep half an ear open to what was going on around her. Jumping slightly she noticed all eyes where on her.

"I'm Keegan Shadowsong from well, right here in Natura as boring as that sounds. I've always had an interest in the harp but the timming was never right. Since it seemed to work out right now I decided to jump at the chance and here I am."

[Alphonsus]

Tanya nodded. "Now, take your attention to your harp." She beckoned. If Keegan looked and examined her harp, she would find that it was made of wood, and there were 2 colors of strings on the harp. There was also several odd looking holes where the strings were tied to. "I would love to start our lesson by..."

If Tanya voiced seemed to be music of the heavens, the sound that came next could never be described with any words. Tanya allowed her fingers to run through the strings of the harp, beginning from the inside, and slowly, moving out. "Now, everyone try the same as I do then tell me, starting from Miss Vishaka, then to Miss Shadowsong, why of all instrument, would you like to learn the harp?"

Wanda smiled and answered in a beautiful voice. "Like I have said, my mastery on the flute is good, but I have always love to play a string instrument. The harp had always been my choice because of the wonderful voices it could make."

The whole class then turned their attention to Keegan.

That was a good question why exactly did she wish to learn the harp. She could have chosent to learn anything why this. Was it some way to connect to her mother. She loved her there had never been any doubt of that, but she had held Keegan at distance her entitr life. She had been skilled with the harp and had spent evenings playing it when the weather was to bad for anything else.

"Well, my mother played it well. When I was little I remember her playing it as I went to sleep. I think thats when I grew to love the harp and decided that some day I would learn to play it myself."
