Druhkun Vorvanaux is unknown and forgotten
Head Ache / Initiate Sorcery.

Druhkun had been given the oppurtunity to learn Sorcery at the expense of the Faust. So he had gone to the sorcery school in vortex in which to learn, he put the crowns on the table and was brought to his classroom. His teachers name was Danvan.

"So when do we begin?" asked Druhkun in a slightly bewildered manner.

“Begin? Surely you jest, did you think you were going to waltz into my class and learn everything in a day? Before you even begin big man I want you to take a look at this book, chapters 1 to 3. And then I want you to explain them to me later on, then after this I will unbind you and then we will get started on learning some magic.” Snickered the dark elf.

Druhkun gave his teacher an utterly exasperated look, but in the long run this knowledge would be better had then not. " So where is this book?" Druhkun asked questioningly.

"You are an impatient one aren’t you " The Vysstichi said smoothly. The dark elf then picked up a book that was next to him and thumbed through the pages until he came across the section that he was looking for.

1."Meditate" - This technique enables the mage to clear his mind of extraneous thoughts, establishing a proper basis for spell casting. Greater proficiency in this skill will enable mages to more quickly and effectively clear their minds and concentrate while under high stress situations. Often, practitioners seek the aid of a soothing drink or the relaxing perfume of incense to induce a meditative state, but once in the meditative state, physical perception declines, while arcane perception increases. When meditating, spell casters can detect the presence of arcana in relatively close proximity. The Ancient Aelyrians termed this technique clara, and it is a prerequisite for casting any spell. The other two primary techniques, focus and channel are optional mechanisms to enhance the spells being cast.

2. "Focus" - With the essence of a person's intellect now floating freely in a meditative state, one can attempt to interface directly with the arcane energy of spells. This technique is called Focusing. One focuses directly into the nexus of energy, and upon successful interface, can begin to call upon the energy. Focusing becomes useful for when one wishes to cast spells at a faster rate by improving the exchange rate of mental energy for magical energy.

3."Channel" - Also called cantrips, channeling controls the rate at which energy enters and departs a spell. By channeling, a spell caster can magnify/amplify the effects of her spell or alternatively demagnify/deamplify these same effects. With extreme practice, gifted channellers are able to cast multiple spells in the same continuous stream of energy.

4."Dispel" - Initiates can undo non-permanent effects of a spell by channeling on the original energy configuration of an aura afflicted by the offending magic, but this skill usually only works on spells cast by mages of the same proficiency level or lower. Over time and with practice, mages can become gifted and attuned to advanced dispel techniques and develop counter curses that are capable of undoing the work of spells that were seemingly permanent, but in actuality had just long-lasting effects.

"Each one of these skills I will expect you to grasp and understand by the end of the day, before I unbind you. So sit down by the desk when I say by it I mean by it, dont break my chair. And read up on these things especially channeling, I want you to be capable of channeling your magic, because I have a special little trick I would like to teach you. Dont think this is a free ride just because Faust sent you.

So read!" Snapped his teacher Danvan.

Druhkun quickly obliged and collected the book and began reading the pages, each section was filled with detail and so much knowledge that the giant needed to take small breaks

Druhkun Vorvanaux is unknown and forgotten
Hours had past since Druhkun had begun reading about the arts of meditation, Focus, Channeling, and dispel. When the knowledge was ripe and fresh within his mind, his dark elf teacher smiled vaguely before continuing with the work that was at hand.

"Now I expect you have read these magical abilities and will expect you to practice them later on during some spells which you will learn after this unbinding. Now close your eyes Druhkun, and remember today. Today is the day that your mind will be freed from its shackles and you shall explore the world of arcana." Whispered the vysstichi in a soothing manner.

Druhkun nodded and closed his eyes, he was still sitting next to the chair with the book wide open. It was then that his dark elf teacher brought his hand towards Druhkuns forehead and unbound him with but a single touch of his index finger as if to perhaps to display his awesome power.

Slowly drifting away from reality Druhkun, felt as though the world around him was being changed as if he would be able to see it in a new and amazing manner. As if the world itself had become something else and himself reborn, an infant in a new and tantalizing world locked away and hidden from others. As time past by, the seconds became minutes, the minutes became hours, and perhaps the hours days. It was an exhilarating and refreshing experience like he had been resurrected, full of new life and inspiration that swam through his new mind and body. It was a good feeling, and soon, he would be able to explore the recess's of his brain and interact with magic itself.

Druhkun opened his eyes, and he felt the soothing air around him, the tranquility was overwhelming while he found himself deeper in this meditative trance known formally as clara. It felt good to be free, and he smiled at his teacher his guide to this plane Danavan.

Now while your in this state Druhkun simply sit back and breath calmly and meditate for a while. Eventually you will slowly drift into a state called clara and we can begin.

Doing what he was told Druhkun slowly began to meditate, taking deep breaths of air and exhaling slowly. He was trying his best to let his mind wander away from this physical realm into one more supernatural. As time past by, Druhkun still sat there letting himself drift away from this plane of existence into another one that was comprised of essences and ara. This new realm, was a different one but as time past by she could feel herself reaching this state slowly but surely. Eventually something felt different, a slight change weave in the fabric of himself. Opening his eyes when he felt prepared he could see the ara floating freely, and Druhkun could feel his vis pulsating with new found life.

"Thats good, now remain in that state, hold it for as long as you can. I want you to try your best to hold this new state of mind you have found, and I want you to hold this for a long time. Try and hold it for an hour or two, get used to it, let this state of clara be your guide to the world of arcana. Breath in slowly, then exhale slowly, keep yourself level and let your mind expand so that you may be able to freely explore this new found world." The dark elf was doing what he felt necessary for Druhkun, it might have been initiate training but rarely did a giant ever have an opportunity to learn beyond the threshold of the physical realm.

This state of clara had been achieved, and it was an experience like none other Eris had been blessed with. As the time continued to tick away, she remained there adamantly awaiting further instructions.
