Tucked into a moss grown corner of the Old Pines, The High Note stands hidden yet peacefully abase from pools of collected rainwater. Layered into the abandoned, gutted structures of the western quarter, it's quiet solace is appreciated. Untouched lengths of rectangular glass stand lavishly built into a display of carved instruments made for every function and appreciation. The elvish slopes of smooth wood preclude a gentle lull from reed pipes, mandolin or harp echoing over the shacks and shanties. Any desiring thief will quickly find themselves gutted akin to a sieve upon risking breach of these wares, as the owner commands inspired awe among the lost and lecherous for reasons obscured from awaiting answer.
Harlequins, buffoons and minstrels frequent it's street corners and alleys plucking at string and puffing on song or sound. Bards may risk any weather for a glimpse of it's owner and the siren call of her ethereal voice. Knowledge, Lore and the inner path of Bardism keep many a musician beneath Aoibheann's sway while her enigmatic knowledge of Elven secrets, maps, mysteries and riddles drive not only treasure seekers but magicians and scholars to seek out the subtle doors of The High Note music shop. Regal and subtle as the morning dew, Abigaile is a very soft spoken and gentile female Elf with long flowing locks of golden hair falling below a crown of living branches. She often wears one piece gowns of velvet, soft cotton or silks which ranges in color from violet to greens along with the purity of white and gold. Little is known as to the history of the elder maiden but that she has outlived entire civilizations of people and place. Some say she is a princess or queen lost to the annals of history, others a goddess, river nymph or disir. What is known as fact is that she often frequents the Frigid River Inn and Stables, while also the home of Ashley Everest and entertains the court of the Thane and noble houses of consequence. Travellers have allegedly died for even a glimpse of her grace, while others have left the Note changed for the worse if not powerfully greater.
