A lot had happened to Frigid River in recent times. A massive reorganizing of the city's guts had moved the bazaar to a new location, and in the move, the bazaar that had become notorious for selling just about anything under the sun had now become much more organized as well. Each booth had been relocated to certain sectors, divded by color, and the entire mass lay just outside the city proper.
Large colored banners waved over the tops of the stalls, guiding visitors to the various sectors. At the various entrances to the sectors, large wooden signs identified the sector and its color.
This one was the Gold Sector, dealing with household goods and groceries.
Clean and well-kept mini-shops huddled under tents contained household goods of every kind: pots, pans, cutlery, even protective mitts designed to prevent burns. Exotic spices and herbs sat on display next to baskets of bread and rolls, while salted hams and steaks of every cut were kept underneath the protective shade of the tents.
This sector was considerably less volatile than the others, perhaps because the owners of the booths sat in silence, patiently awaiting anyone that would inevitably require their goods. Soft smiles and nods were the order of the day, all were kindly folk that simply sat and watched the people flow by, waiting for a potential customer.
