Seeing as the weather was now warm, Elonia was dressed in her usual black gauzy skirt that cut off above the knees and tied at her right hip; forming a lop sided loincloth, a black scarf wrapped around her chest and tied in the back along with her usual black leather calf-high boots. Some might say what she wore was scandelous, but some were close minded idiots. It was comfortable, so she didn't care. Besides, she could burn anyone who touched her.

Elonia rode atop her brown toned mare, closely tailed by her now fully grown but still young black jaguar. She was searching for the Vysstichi that she had more than likely saved the life during her last visit to Frigid River. He had traveled with her to Nexus Prime and had disappeared when she decided to race him to the city gates. That was well over a month ago and she was more than worried. Not wanting to adopt the thoughts of so many others, she continued to hope that something had happened and that he had not just abandoned her.

She shook her head, shaking her long black hair out of her eyes. To the casual observer, her eyes were a normal ice blue, but any who gazed into them, or happened to have any affinity with Arcana, would see more. The edge of her irises were tinted red from the Fire Element that had attacked and infused her, and her iris's would glow red when she was emotionally charged. They were glowing now.

Elonia was worried that Reldass had not shown himself, perhaps the insanity that had engulfed him when they met had taken over again and he had wandered off. That was the worst that Elonia was willing to accept, if anything bad had happened to him, she would have to take revenge. But then again, she thought, he is a Vyssie.

No, no. I can't be like everyone else. He was nice, so perhaps everyone else was wrong... perhaps...

Deeper into town she wandered, not really paying attention to where she was going, but asking anyone would would listen if they had seen Reld. So far, no one had.

ooc- Yes, I know that Reldass has retired, but Elonia doesn't.

[Duffy]

It had been a long trip, and his legs were growing weary. He was been atop a near hill, and had veiwed Frigid River from a distance. Why not stop by and see the town and find out more about it? It was a walk North, and away from the road he knew he was to travel on, but a small stop would be a nice rest for his feet, a nice meal for his belly, and a great chance to meet more people. Of course, being a dorin, he travelled by foot faster than human or elf, and could out walk a horse in the long run. His jerky supply was getting low though, and maybe he could find a place to sell his sword. Over all the times he was in a fight, he did not use his sword once.

Instead, he had turned into a vicious wolf-like creature, and lost his mind. Was that honourable? Instead of fighting with the sword, Duffy had viciously attacked the enemy with his claws and teeth. What would Aslan think? Nobody had ever really defined honour, except his dad mentioned honour being 'not stabbing your opponent in the back.' He had not stabbed someone in the back. What about the discrimination towards Katta? Was that honourable? These questions had been mingled in his mind ever since he had slaughtered the squirrel human creature.

These questions pondering in his head, he made the long journey to Frigid River, walking at a pace almost twice as fast as the average human. He evenutually reached the small village, and viewed no soldiers or guards. Why were there none? Even he could take hold of a small village like this one! He smiled to people, even to the small children who screamed when they saw him. To them, he looked like a werewolf. Older people smiled, waved, and said hi. They obviously knew he was not from around here. A few merchants spoke to him, but odly enough did not try to force him to buy anything. Just a, 'Well, I have some plucked chickens here if you are ever in need,' was all he experienced. It was a pleasant little town. As he kept looking around for pickpockets, thugs, or dangers of any kind, he began to realise he didn't need to. This was but a small town with few worries.

He stopped at an inn, and the large man at the counter looked very large for a human, but was obviously less harmless than a shepard. The man spoke in a quiet soft voice, and showed Duffy to his room. It costed very little; four crowns, for a very nice room. The bed was made perfectly, a side table with fresh fruit, and a bath that could be refilled with steaming hot water whenever he found the desire. Of course, he did not heed here. He left the inn, for he was to return later. He wandered the streets, looking for interesting people.

Everyone looked so naive. The children would run and play with their friends all day; Not a care in the world. They usually were training for fighting, or going to school. The men were usually bonding with others, or farming, or herding sheep. Women were either shopping or at a local bakery, having tea with others. It seemed as though these people had not a care in the world. Of course, then he saw a woman who stood out. The clothing she wore was different from that of the people. She road a large mare, followed by a cat. She, too, seemed lost and wandering. It was unknown how anyone could get lost in such a small and spread out village, unless you had never been in such a small town. It was one thing to be lost in a highly populated city, like Prime, but another to be lost in a village.

Duffy turned to an older woman sweeping a doorstep, and asked quietly, "S'cuse me mam, but is that woman over there from around here?"

"No, Sir," She replied. "I have never seen here around here." She smiled, and quickly turned around and walked to sweep somewhere else. It was obvious he was intimidating.

He slowly walked over to her, a bit fearful of the cat following her. "Ma'am?" He mentioned in a loud voice. "Serale. I heard you haven't been seen around here before."

[Elonia]

Elonia was taken by surprise at being addressed by anyone, the people here kept to themselves, especially a Dorin. She had never really met one before, only glimpsed one here and there, and heard stories about them. This one seemed friendly enough, so she turned her horse towards him and smiled, as she always did when meeting someone new.

"Serale friend Dorin." She pushed a stray strand of black hair back behind her ear with a fingertip. "I've actually been here once before, but only for a short time. I just came back to see if I could find a friend of mine."

Just then, she noticed his wariness about her jaguar. Jasmine didn't seem particularly happy with the presence of the Dorin either, her tail lashed about and her ears lay back against her head. Elonia snapped her fingers loudly at the cat, who only perked her ears up and kept on lashing her tail, eyes locked on the newcomer. "Don't worry about her, she's just an overgrown kitten."

[Duffy]

Duffy smiled, "A tad bit more than just a kitten, eh?" He said in a friendly tone. It wasn't every day you saw a cat that large, but they were beautiful creatures. It reminded him of how much he wanted a wolf, or a large dog. As Duffy came closer, he analyzed the cat with wonder in mind.

"Where did you get him, if you don't mind me asking?" He asked her. He thought for a second about petting the giant cat, but realized he had met smaller kittens that had the nerve to bite. At least this was no katta. "I've always wanted a creature under my care. Preferably a dog... Since they are close in relations to my kind."

[Elonia]

Elonia chuckled quietly at the Dorin's remark, "I guess she just seems a little bigger to everyone else. I've had her since a cub, so she doesn't seem so large to me." Jasmine momentarily glanced at Elonia and yawned then returned her gaze back to the Dorin, seeming a little more relaxed than before. This overgrown dog obviously didn't mean any harm.

"I got her at a store in Alleria Prime. I had intended to buy a normal kitten, but the store owner talked me into this one instead." Elonia looked down fondly at Jasmine, and then back at the Dorin.

"I don't believe I had introduced myself." She leaned over in her saddle and held a hand out to the Dorin, "my name is Elonia. And you are?" She smiled kindly at him, glad to have met someone friendly in this city.

[Duffy]

Being a honourable dorin, Duffy immediately took a slight bow. "You can call me Duffy, Elonia. It is very nice to meet you."

His eyes transfixed on the large 'kitten.' He had been in Alleria Prime, and had loved it. Fond memories came, and he wished he had visited the same merchant his new friend Elonia had talked to. Maybe he could have had a loyal sidekick following him around twenty-four seven. For now, though, he was left alone. Looking at the cat got him thinking about the fight him and Karrkh had been through. One of Duffy's ears folded back at the thought of the katta, and how snotty and annoying she was.

This woman... She might be interested in hearing of his battle with katta. "Elonia, my friend. What's say you and I visit the local restoraunt, and share some stories over a steak and potatoes?" It was an odd request. Most people travelled to the local bar for a good time, but Duffy was in no mood for drinking. It was true he loved anything alcoholic, but he had heard of people who enjoyed alcohol too much. They had all drunken too much, and lived on the streets. Duffy had a sudden fancy for steak and potatoes, and decided to try to find some sort of tavern that served the food.

[Elonia]

"Steak and potatoes? Sounds nice, most guys just try to get me drunk, and then they pass out before I do. Lightweights. But I guess you being a Dorin would make things a little different." She gave him a grin before dismounting, prefering to lead her horse so that she could walk beside the Duffy while they talked.

Elonia bent to scratch Jasmine behind the ears and under her chin. "Jasmine, this is Duffy. I know he may look like a dog, but you still need to nice to him. He's a friend." Jasmine perked her ears forward at Elonia's voice and seemed to be soothed by it. Her tail stopped twitching and her ears stood forward; she no longer seemed to want to eat the Dorin, just chew on him a little for fun."

"I think she'll be all right now." She took a grip on Swift's reins and turned to Duffy. "Shall we?"
