Flying... Part II [Training/Maddyn]

OOC: Continued from here.

One scaly eyebrow rose when Dalla and Heronythys argued. That Dalla said yes was completely logical, but that the dragon wanted Skay to keep the potion was met with curiosity. The first thing Skay did was hurriedly put the potions to the side, which were hopefully corked. And then turn around, grabbing onto her stomach and then her mouth, as well as instantly releasing of it as the brightening's breakfast came down onto the ground. Whatever came out, did not look like apples, dried meat and some other now unrecognizable stuff.

When they said that this would not feel well, the draconess did not consider those words and now felt really unprepared for the outcome. Her eyes hurt, her mouth tasted like... well there was nothing else to compare the taste of her mouth now. And even after throwing up, her whole insides were screaming for no more such tricks and some injections of numbness. In fact they still remembered how much better it felt to be numb back in Archadoon when the Asylum hunters caught her than what the feeling was now.

"Frikkin Aeternia..." The draconess muttered, being on her knees and having just one sole though - that his Grace was feeling no better. Come to think of that... with painful eyes, Skay searched for the stupid bird, who got her into this whole... pox cure making... thing. Another thought raced through her mind and a glance went to her shoulders. Was Faire still here? If he was then a lot of petting would be in order, 'cause the draconess doubted that the wyvern felt any better after the teleportation. But if he wasn't with her... Well then, there would be panicking. Lots and lots of panicking. A lot of panicking. Such as running a few circles, flailing her arms a few times and looking all around with panicking eyes.

Just in case the wyvern was indeed not with her, the draconess would ring the tiny bell she had on her leather bracelet, which was suppose to call Faire if he was at least within the distance of two miles. As for His Grace, when the draconess recovered all her entrails in the right places, she... well there was not much she could do. The girl still feared the bird's ability to use her Vis and do whatever else with her. If the bird regained his powers, whatever they were, she simply did not know what to do with him. And then there was the staff too, which seemed like a good thing to put in some cupboard in Tirisfal. Either way, now she had to find her friend and her... master.

Faire had come from within the same time segment though that Dallandra had woven in the spell to hasten up and modify time in such a disturbing fashion that blaming everything on Quantum was the only real way to end the line of thinking without a severe migrane. Just as His Grace was about, somewhere, outside Frigid River rather than politely remaining atop the Arcane Stave that had been reawakened and attuned to Skay's own being so very recently. Because of this though with one sentient and very unlikely to take orders from Skay and the other a little more passive it meant that Faire arrived when the bell was tolled and His Grace was definetely absent. What wasn't good though was that very slowly a subtle amount of Skay's own Vis was being used as if someone was casting an awful lot of Initiate spells in a very short amount of time.

Towards the north of Skay's position there was some sounds of a scuffle going, a rather aged and snow capped oak tree very slowly groaning in protest as something exceptionally hard hit it in the middle. Teetering for a second before a tiny voice cried "Tiiiiiimmmmber! I'll get you you Knave!", and all too familar given it belonged to a rather boastful Faerie Boy by the name of Willow de Wisp. Odds were that Dallandra hadn't quite put Skay back to the same time where she'd been because the actual flight with His Grace had taken place whereas the spell more seemed to have just tossed Skay back to this area because it could.

The scene was a little odd given that where Willow was so too as His Grace. The Faerie grinning from ear to ear as he wrapped his tiny arms about His Grace's neck in a headlock with one arm and was using his other to tickle the bird underneath the wings. "Ha! Ticklish!" Willow cried, the bird itself making a funny sound that was probably what Birds sounded like when they weren't a Kookaburra and yet were inclined to laugh. Panicking though as Willow held him, Skay's Vis found itself continually used in very small amounts as creepers worked themselves along the ground to slowly build a staircase out of their own vines and try and stretch upwards towards the Faerie and His Grace. "Bloody Nobles my rear, not so Lordy Lordy Lord-haha! when you're like this are you hmm?!"

The first thing after getting back the wyvern, Skay took out a waterskin from her backpack and washed her mouth. Shuddering once from the icky feeling all around her body, she put down the wyvern on the ground. He needed rest, she knew that much. The wyvern could take care of himself for a whole brightening now that they were near Frigid River, there was an open window in her room, and a bowl with salt water, that was all that Faire needed. Petting the hand-wyvern one last time Skay rose on her feet and looked around some more. She could not see His Grace anywhere, but it did not take long to notice that there was something strange happening to her Vis again. Before doing any other actions though, the draconess folded the bottles in some cloth and put them in her backpack.

Just a few moments later the falling tree and the familiar voices caught her attention and Skay paced to the racket. Willow. And... her eyes widened for a second. His Grace? "What in Telath..." Now she wasn't sure whether the fact that her Vis was steadily going down or that His Grace and Willow were playing troubled her more. Though she kind of enjoyed the view, looking at the pair from below, almost as if it was a comedy in some theater. A long time since that happened too. Moving not a finger to stop the tickling fun that the flying people were having, Skay looked on the ground for someone who might be growing the vines too fast for that to be normal.

If Skay found no one who could be growing the vines apart from the pair that were in the sky, she'd address them "Serale Willow, long time no see." Well it wasn't all that long really. A cycle or so for her. And she was not so eager to meet the fae again, but now she had to. His Grace was still her pet after all. "And nice to see that you two are having fun." Oh this was nice to see literally. The only thing left to find out was what the hell was happening to her Vis and how it could happen. After that - how to stop that from happening ever again and how to stop that from continuing now. Being totally drained was something that Skay did not fancy. Though after the recent promotion, she had no idea how much usage her Vis could handle.

Grinning broadly and generally ignoring Skay as he wrestled with His Grace, eventually Willow worked his way about the form of the Mage turned Bird so that he was settled on the 'Noble's back. This of course wasn't exactly taken gracefully by His Grace, having a Faerie clinging to his body after all was far from something most people found desirable. Winging his way though, flapping frantially towards it's perch - His Grace finally settled on top of the Arcane Stave once again before blurring... changing back to that ivory colouring like he was nothing more than stone. With that the Vis drain upon Skay was completely cut off and rendered non-existant for further depletion. "Ha, there... and now everything with Dalla's sorted out." Willow mused as he sat upon the Arcane Stave before nodding in satisfaction.

But that was all the Faerie was here for now the Pox Cure had been managed. Skay already had decided to shun furthering her learning of arcana at Dallandra and Willow's aide and neither of the incorrigable pair were inclined on giving further chances. Not when Dallandra wasn't exactly partial to Dracons to begin with and Willow had been just a little put out by Skay's insistance earlier on his inability to speak the truth.
Fixing up the bead necklace about his throat idly, Willow drew upon his Vis and the Ara about himself to fashion an Arcalysis reaction. Drawing on the Essence of Nature to fold about himself before in a flash of emerald coloured light the Faerie was completely gone again.

OOC:
We're done here. I know I'm not the fastest writer on the boards but if you're unwilling to actually wait to complete the training like the rules say before utilising it then my patience runs short and I see little point in continuing given your decision. *points to Nexus Prime and starting Imbuements*

Cheers, Maddyn

"Eh?" The draconess was left standing confused, gazing at the staff with the Bird locked in it again, Willow gone from the picture faster than she possibly imagined. For a few moments she removed the staff from her back, from between the wings, examined it as if waiting for His Grace to spring back to life, to actually explain what the hell was going on at least once in his existence. But nothing happened. Like all the other times. There was no explanation, no nothing. As confused as the first time that the bird came to life, Skay attached the magic staff behind her back, between her wings again, this time with the bird stuck on it again.

With a deep sigh, the dracon tried to ignore the confusion. It would not be explained anyway. However someone worked for whatever reasons she did not know, but by now got used to merely going with what was left. These few brightenings were not the strangest ones in her life, but they surely were the most confusing and unanswered ones. She did not know why the things happened, nor how they happened, nor how she was suppose to react to them. She had the Pox Cure. Why, she did not know. She was promoted and left at it. Why, she did not know. And she had the bird go back and get stuck to the staff when he seemed to die to get off of it. She just did not understand what was going on. And she gave up on trying to understand it, instead turned to Frigid River and went home.
