Rose The Marionette Hot Springs & Resort

It was towards the Great Mountains side of Frigid River that dealt with the more exotic means that Frigid River had at its disposal. The little town like so many others in the Province had originally been designed as a Lylles Resort, and even with the neglect over the past decade some aspects still remained. While there was indeed hot springs available both on peoples private land as well as just outside the town; the best were made claim to by the Marionette Resort.

One of the buildings owned by the Lylles, the construction of the resort mirrored their own patronage with a rather elegant look about the place rather than rustic hap-hazard. Two stories in height, the building had an Elven styling about it with walls of wood painted white, large windows set periodically in the surface each with crimson painted board shutters. The roof itself was tiled, each one painted crimson as well to keep the rather simple colour theme intact. As one drew closer, a series of some hundred steps rose up towards the Resort itself whereby they were confronted with a little more detail than the distance could give testament to.

The doorway was a large sliding pannel set on runners, the door itself made from a paperlike substance and showing a painted gold Sea serpent on the front along with several Elvish characters in crimson stating 'The Marionette Resort'. This particular area was shaded off by the balcony on the top level, supported by carved wooden posts some thirty feet in height and polished. Already the unpleasant smells of the town itself was fading though, not even the faintest whif of fish or other nastiness - instead a pleasant and subtle purfume filled the air to clash perfectly with Frigid Rivers normal air and create no scent at all. Given the normal air quality, it was pretty much why no scent was considered the best within this area.

Opening up into a large entrance hall, the floor itself was of polished wood and the windows helped illuminate the place along with a crystal chandelieer hanging from the roof. Along the wall, brass braziers burned away with their own dull flame. On both right and let walls, cloth wall hangings revealed paintings of anything from birds, the mountains through to the mroe exotic such as a sleeping hellbear. In the middle of the room was a large desk with a screen placed behind it showing various pieces of writing in several languages. Behind all this, more doors like the entrance one led towards the back.

Sitting there with a certain bored expression was a twenty odd Kemite Human tallying up numbers on the piece of parchment before him. Homely seemed about the best one could ever consider him with a wirey build that'd fill out later, black hair with very little order as it just hung down and his eyes hidden behind thick square glasses. His garb was just as simple, a schola uniform of a white tunic, dark blue pants and a coat of dark blue. "Hmm... oh, a customer... just my luck." came a soft grumbling before he spoke up louder and pretended he hadn't stated those prior words.

"Serale! and welcome to the Hinat... Marionette Resort, how may I help you?" Mr Urashima queried with a polite facard, guesting vaguely behind him.
