Timestamp- Kalendryas, Winter, Era XII PF
Truly it was terrible how close so many of her family members resided, yet at the same time there was no way Elle could manage to get down to Lauryl Province or Frigid River to see what it was her cousins had gotten themselves up to.
She could however, send letters and such easily, without ever having to pay a crown. The only concession she had to make was that the envelopes would be a touch soggy. That was the problem with sending one of the elementals to do errands for her, at least one of the elementals she knew about and trusted enough to ask to do the job. What Elle couldn't know, was where her cousins were
exactly within the city, which precluded the lovely element of surprise. It would have been perfect if she could have had Lyon or Laeontir appear directly beside each of her family members to offer over the envelope meant for them, and then disappear again.
Ah well.
Laeontir did coalesce himself upon the front door of the Governor's mansion, since the Lothains did know that was Pirvan's house. Politely he rapped upon the front door, and stood there waiting with the attitude of a block of ice. Which wasn't hard, since that was essentially what he was anyway. Upon the opening of the door, he asked to speak with Pirvan directly.
"I have been charged by the Lady Kaldres to put these envelopes into her cousin's hands directly. No one else." Laeontir was quite firm about this. Elle had insisted on him doing this the formal and polite way, rather than just sneaking into his office. What she hadn't told Laeontir is that it would probably cause rather a stir between the servants of the house, a jest she would hopefully enjoy. However, once the pale green parchment envelopes were delivered, Laeontir simply melted away, returning to wherever he spent his time directly through the planes. Each envelope was marked with the name of one of Four cousins Elle knew was residing in Frigid River. Inside was a delicate green card scribed neatly with dark green ink, embossed with the seal of a rose.
