Visiting the Lady Natali [Mod/Peer mod/whoever]

The new advisor of the thane as in some respects a scandelous figure; depending on your background. She was blatently unmarried, and carried herself with the comportment of a ruler and not a lady like noblewoman. She was no flittery ornament with more money than sense, and yet she did not act like a whore. Or dress like one, for that matter. No matter what part of her body was flattered by the way she dressed; the part was always covered.

Which was more than could be said for some noblewomen of the Empire, and for a good many barmaids.

The impropriety of an unmarried woman living opening in the same house as an unmarried man, with no elderly woman to chaperone them, was probably less of a gossip piece at the moment. With the influx of newcomers, the locals had enough to gossip about with tales of late night trysts between such-and-such, and that guard-who-came-from-out-of-town.

In any case Andavariel was careful to make her appearance a little less business like, and a little more feminine as she went in seach of Amelia Natali. She had not had chance to get to know the member of the Town Council and she had a feeling that the woman's good will would help a lot. She had dressed in her only gown, a plain but finely made piece she had picked up in Jaedaxia. The bodice was fronted an elegant cream brocade from Charismae, and the kirtle, with its draped sleves, were of a deep red. Her hair was loose, and she wore no jewelry but the bronze ornament she had worn at the meeting in the Autumn. Other than her travelling clothes, these were practically the only clothes she owned. Porverty did that to a woman.

Over the lot she wore a plain but warm cotton twill cloak, to serve as apparent cover from the cold of winter. She found it heavy going in these clothes, as ehe followed the directions she had been given to to find Amelia Natali's place. She had to be careful not to mess up her finery. Or at least the nearest thing she had to it. It would be a long time before she could compete with Cassidy Al'lende in the wardrobe department.

Most knew of Amelia Natali within the city, though few marked her past for thinking it irrelevant. Gossiping was all well and good but when there was business to attend to it didn't do... especially when the Lady Natali happened to own a good share of the majority of Frigid River's established runnings. The Head of the City Council, someone who'd in the past turned down the position of Thaneship for a belief she could do better right where she was. Not quite in the spotlight, but more standing right on the edge between the light and darkness to help out and allow the Star to do the runnings.

For all her wealth, her home was rather small. Cosy was one of the first words that people tended to think of with in an out of the way location in the city - far, far away from the fishmongers and the less attractive smells of the town. Close to where the Waterworks used to run and a few hot springs brought a different kind of smell instead - sulphur. The ground itself was rich and covered in a thin layer of white snow from the night before, a low granite length marking the lands boundaries. A single story building built from carefully fitted stone, this was one of those that bore the testament of Dwarf workmanship and the thatch roof was replaced every single Era in the height of summer to make sure no unnecessary problems occured.

The gate itself was wooden, white washed and open already with a careful little pathway leading past the snow covered garden - rose bushes awaiting spring on either side. Ever green hedges capped with snow could be seen on the far right and far left of the garden itself to create a less drab appearance. Windows were wide open, the chill air blowing drapes and of the two windows visible from the front the one on the right was filled with golden light and a faint smell of freshly baked bread filling the air. The door itself was plain, white washed again and with a simple iron doorknocker and a bouquet of roses apparently stuck to the door. Each one perfectly white, stem and all and as hard as stone.

Andavariel approved. It was a rare thing that she approved of modest housing arrangements, like this. However one of her mottos was that all must be appropriate to situation and station in life. There was no reason to remain in the chill air and ruminate on such things though, as pretty the scene was.

Besides, where there is the smell of bread, there is a chance to eat it fresh! She wasted no time in using the iron doorknocker, tapping out a short staccato on the clean white door, summoning the owner's attention.

It took a few minutes for the door to be answered though inside with Andarvariel's currently Half Elfin hearing could hear a general clutter of sounds. The kind associated with someone not expecting guests and having to deal with a quick tidyup. And so it was that a somewhat flushed Ameilia opened the door just a touch too fast and bowing her head slightly to catch her breath. That angular sharpness of her features prevented her from being beautiful or even pretty, handsome seemed a better description with her ice blue eyes and raven black hair pulled back into a hasty bun. Her dress was simple, blue dyed wool that went past her knee's and allowed her feet to be seen - encased within slippers.
The embaressing kind, shaped like little Cabbits and probably older than half the children in the town.

Tucked into a simple belt about her slender waist was a kitchen bowl with burnt spots all throughout the once white cloth and the smell of bread broke past that of sulphur to cloud the senses.

"Oh! Sorry Mi'lady but I fear I hadn't expected guests... you would be... Pirvan Kaldres friend?" she queried with a slight frown. She'd been absent from a lot of Pirvan's politicing and considered it a well earnt break after having to deal with cleaning by the last Thane's mistakes. Convincing an Elementalist to help restore the spells on the sewers for the incinerator had taken some time and the dear Mister Milo had done a good enough job of things as far as the Masons had informed her. Not that he'd bothered to pick up his pay which was odd in itself.

"Please... do come in and... ah... well, the place is a little messy I'm afraid, clutter always seems to build up these brightenings. I don't suppose you'd like some cubori and tea?" she stammered, trying to hide her slippers without drawing unwanted attention to them. Not that such was really possible, but all the same she crossed one leg behind the other to at least hide one of the old fuzzy slippers.

What ever the state of her hostess, and those slippers, the smell of bread was enough to make a dragon's stomach grumble. That smell, and the charming flustered air that the woman had about her was enough to make Andavariel warm towards the lady who had handed Pirvan the city, and consequently the province.

"Ah, you make me feel over dressed, Lady Natali. I am known as Andavariel Klen-Ais, although you are welcome to call me Anda if you find that less of a mouthful" She replied smoothly, filling in the gaps of Amelia's knowledge.

She nodded her assent to staying for cubori and tea, liking the the honesty of the woman. People here were so much more friendly than they were in Jaedaxia, although she couldn't honestly think why. Perhaps it was the lack of new faces in this small town.

"I'd love to, if you have time. I've heard a little about you from others around here, and since Lord Thane Kaldres has taken me on as an advisor, I feel it would extremely rude of me to try and act in such a capacity without seeking your advice first."

She undid the clasp of the simple cloak at her neck and removed the twill from her shoulders, hanging it over her left arm. She certainly did not mind mess or clutter, although Andavariel looked neat and ordered; any study she had ever possessed had been filled to bursting with clutter and bric-a-brac. Even in this voluptuous body and persona, she was still a scholar all the way to her fingertips.

Glancing down in embaressment, Ameilia merely shook her head in regards to Andavariel being overdressed for the occassion. A faint blush touched her cheeks though as she unwittingly caught sight of the slippers that she was now really wishing were a touch more elegant and rather a whole less fuzzy. "Very well then Anda, it does make things ever so much easier for the both of us... just Amie for me if you'd rather...Lady is ever so formal and it really is just another title to be had." she continued with a faint shrug of her shoulders, the smell of bread wafting just that little bit stronger...and with a touch of charcoal.

Frigid River really didn't have all that many families who weren't related through either bloodline, business or sheer grudges. There were the people of Frigid River, and then there was the Outsiders and really there wasn't many ways to change such for most people. Marrying in generally tended to work for most people, or really irritating one of the Families and then remaining about to rub the injury in like pushing a thorn deeper at every opportunity.
Or staying for a few generations and living here each and every brightening.

Most though simply weren't worth the effort or appealed to everyone. The Kaldres status within Frigid River had more to do with Ameilia's deferring to Pirvan when the Esh'lahier had tried to force some semblence of order after the last Thane had renegged on certain agreements regarding food and trade. And such, ever so much slower was being conferred upon by Ameilia to Andavariel... and soon enough to be Grent Ironstone too and Lord Heron (as much as many of the Families wished he'd pester some other town of late). Given an Era or two of formalities, and while Andavariel wouldn't be one of the Frigid River Families, but she would be accepted and acknowledged for who she was rather than where she'd come from.

Admittedly, a whole lot further away than any might have hazarded a guess to.

"Always, just getting a little cooking down Anda though... you are in luck of a sort. Still in the habit for baking for three I'm afraid so better you attain the result of my folly rather than the birds... there's a coathook behind the door dear if you will..." Ameilia continued with a faint smile as she sighed again at the mess. So tempting to have shut the door in Andavariel's face and then try and work a hasty tidyup... and get some other slippers on.

Weaving a path through the mess, not everything here suited a woman of Ameilia's age though as a pair of handprints and a big smiley face with black streaks on either side was framed on one of the walls. A pair of dolls that would've cost thousands of crowns propped up carefully on the couch, through to an elegant rapier placed on hooks in the wall and then the other coat behind the door being designed for a man a few inches taller than Anda herself. There was little reminders absolutely everywhere that this had been the home of several people rather than Amie.

Smoke billowed through from the kitchen, wafting through with the smell of burning bread mingling with the pleasant scent of already baked. "Oh Diana, not again!... just help yourself Anda to the ones on the bench! There's some jam in the pantry dear!" she exclaimed as she worked to open the window and try and force the black smoke outwards; the bread on the tray revealing blackened husks. It was a nice little kitchen, a stove, a fireplace, window, bench and some cupboards. The results of her cooking though were everywhere, washing up was optional and only done after everything fun had been completed.

Free food! Now there was a thing to warm any creature's stomach, and Andavariel in ANY form would not have been an exception to that. The cloak was soon neatly hung along side the keepsake that occupied one of the other hooks. She turned round, eyes taking in the sight of the remenants of times past. Her heart softened yet again, she knew what it was like to lose a part of yourself, of your past. Hard to let go, but hard to keep remembering. As the iron will within her softened, it might have been that the metallic sheen that was so often present in her eyes faded. Mortal Emotion was probably to win out over dragonish self-centredness that day.

She moved over to the already cooked bread, and picked up a piece. She was unmindful of the possible temperature, she rarely found hot food to be a problem too her. Resilience was something that carried over, thankfully. She gave no thought to whether it would look odd or not. She looked around at the mess, slightly bemused at the helter-skelter manner in which Ameilia kept her house. Maybe I should hire her a housekeeper?

She shrugged inwardly, and went in search of jam, bread in hand. Juicy juicy jam. She stopped on the way to the pantry. Some sort of plate, and something to spread the jam with? Surely she could find something. She poked and prodded until she found some that looked clean, picking up the same for Ameilia. Juggling the little pile of eating equipment and food was a little more complicated than she anticipated. She got the rebellious things under control, her eyes watering a little from the grit in the air, and decided on another plan of action.

"How about you bring the jam through when you're done here? I'll go find a table and somewhere for us to sit, eat, drink and talk. We could be merry too, although I think we both have more important things to be getting on with right now." She remarked, and winked cheekily. Ameilia was more fun than Pirvan, who always acted like someone was watching. It was true, really, in his position people always were, but it got on her nerves.

Looking crestfallen at the charred breads, it was with a sigh of mild annoyance that Amie wandered over near the window and tipped the charred contents in a small bin - half filled with similar problems of various cooked meals that'd been overdone. "Umm... just apricot I'm afraid, there should be some strawberry jam though... somewhere..." Amie continued with a rather helpless expression as she glanced about the mess of a kitchen. And naturally, the strawberry jam was sitting on the bench right behind her, completely unnoticed.

"Alright Anda, perhaps the garden? The kitchen's got my books still out... Grent the dear wants to go over just how much land we've ceeded to Pirvan's keeping for the meantime...lovely fellow, knows more about the Lylles holdings within Frigid River than I do - make things impossible without him." Amie mused fondly, scowling as she glanced about looking for the jam, her already angular features making her look like a hawk hunting for a particularly elusive mouse within long grass. "Though... tis a little chilly there too... ah! Diana help me - I am sorry dear, I don't usually get guests I'm afraid."

And, naturally, Amie spun about in exasperation to see the jar of jam there. If it'd been alive, it was very well under her ice blue scrutiny it would've cowered, if it'd been made of wood it'd have burst into flames. But in general, the jar just looked rather plain if not smug. "Well, shan't take long to get the books out of the road... shall we?" Amie mused, gesturing down the hallway for Anda to take the lead to a small room with a carpet in the middle, a hearth blazing away happily. A table in the middle of the room with a couple chairs strawn about, books absolutely everywhere and a dusturbing amount of knitting.

To Amie's dismay, on the table next to the boots was another set of slippers being made in the shape of ducks.

Fond. Andavariel could easily learn to be fond of the particular set of mortals that she was slowly becoming acquinted with in Frigid River. Amie was an endearing figure, playing the part of a well-to-do but slightly eccentric country miss to perfection. It was not, Anda reflected, a bad life to lead. It had little of the short but painful periods of excitement that some of her other selves had left. She still regretted the one time when she had attempted to be a mercenary.

She was so bad that they had paid her to STOP fighting on their side.

She listened to Amie contentedly, agreeing with the woman that yes, perhaps the garden would be better. Certain references had certainly piqued her interest though. What would the Lady Natali have to do with the local Lylles holdings, exactly? There had been a few hints and references, in her short time in Frigid, but nothing outright had been said about Amie's place in the town. Or why they had ceded much of it to Pirvan. Pirvan had never been talkative about that fact, I should probably pressure him about it next time I see it

For now, she let the comment about the Lylles holdings slide, and pretended to hold in amusement at the new pair of slippers that presented themselves for discovery by Amie's visitor.

"I wouldn't fuss, Amie. I'm not used to being a guest either, but I am having to make do by staying with the Thane for now. I really need to sort out some alternative lodgings, for it is a little too focused on ah, his Lordship's business up there." She finished with a mutter. Pirvan's 'clan', as she thought of his Government, did not seem overly concerned with the locality of Frigid as anything beyond a tactical way to gain power.

It was, of course, and so it was for Andavariel. She was taking a longer term view. Frigid River was a perfect place to live out your life, and go unnoticed. It had been before Pirvan, but then his powermongering was what had drawn her notice in the first place. She would have to work hard to make it a home that she could return to again and again. Anda looked round at the cozy, book filled room, finding much that had her feel at home. Apart from those slippers.

"I have no problem with the books being around, it makes me feel more at ease anyway. Papyrus and ink has ever been my companion whilst I was out on the road, and I need only a fire to warm my nose." She said mildly, careful to make a reference to the chill that Amie obviously had felt out in the kitchen area.

Looking up from the books and her fussing, Amie bore a look of quizzical miscomprehension at the speaking of Anda lacking accomodation. That something hadn't already been arranged was a terrible slight to someone who Pirvan had asked to be his aide, really the man while having the best interests in heart seemed thoroughly beset by a general incompetence to fullfill all the duties he wanted the power of. Govenor or Thane were all well and good, but Pirvan needed to pay a little more care towards the people who worked for him directly and the town he'd been given charge of at Amie's desire - better anyone else rather than her. A cold brightening in Aeternia before Amie would accept anything more than her current position and even that seemed too much a lot of the time now.

"Truely is neglectful..." Amie mused with a sigh, giving up with all the piled up books and paper and settling on clearing a few places so the table could at least become moderately accessable. "Don't worry, I'll talk with Grent tomorrow first thing Anda about making sure something's arranged for yourself - board at the Trellis Inn shouldn't be too difficult to manage in the meantime while you get settled though dear. Perhaps the Chalmers Estate would be suitable, it's been vacant for a few decades now unfortunately and a new tennant wouldn't go amiss. You'd probably need someone to air the place out though... Grent can arrange things." Amie continued confidently, smiling now that seemed to be out of the road.

At least as far as she was concerned, come morning it was time to actually see just how much Pirvan had continued to do within Frigid River rather than his attention being consistantly drawn to Lauryllian matters as a whole. To find out just what kind of titles he'd ceded those others he'd brought within him... the soldier, the politician and the Dorin respectively.

"I hope the tea's fine... umm... probably not quite as good as you'd expect I know it's just been a little difficult of late keeping up with everything." Amie conceded after a while, her eyes lowered as she focused solely on her cup of tea as she sipped. Some things just weren't proper to talk about even if almost everyone in Frigid River already knew about her circumstances. Some things too were hard to cover up... some things couldn't be hushed and it would've been a terrible slight to her families memory to even try. But an apology seemed in order, it just wasn't befitting for a Lylles to behave so in the company of one such as Anda. Family as a whole had to be upheld rather than just Amie's small and severed branch.

Andavariel smiled easily, obviously charmed by Amie's mannerisms, and feeling quite at him. There was a part of her wishing that those pesky empathic tendencies had made a show recently. This new form had shown hide nor hair of them, and in social situations the information it gave to her sometimes was invaluable. Sometimes. Other times it was an absolute pain in the proverbial tail, but such things usually come with as much sting as a benefit.

It was just she felt so blind these days. Even her cursed ability to see the arcana working, that extra sense that all sky kin held if they wished; even that had faded once she had entered Lauryl. As she sat there talking of lodgings and estates with Amie in such a homely environment, she felt a chill wash down her spine.

Am I becoming truly mortal now? Have I left the change too long?

The chill of fear, something she had rarely known before her sacrifice, was accompanied by the dull glow of long oppressed anger. The anger of that dark shell of a thing inside her, that bubbled whenever she dwelt too long on such things.

"The Chalmers Estate? I don't suppose they would have space for a horse or two up there? I'm thinking of improving my horse riding, and having my own transport would be a lot more convenient."

She too paused to sip her tea, though she barely looked at nor tasted the liquid. Her eyes were trained on the demure figure sitting across from her. Just what is going on? And whatever it is, she won't tell me either because I'm an outsider, or because she's protecting a memory. Maybe I should ask down at the Trellis.

"I'm quite happy with this, my friend. Something hot and comforting does not always need to be the finest or most expensive of things in order to do its job. Although I dare say the comforts of luxury does no harm, I am in no hurry to become a slave to them."

She found a safe-ish place to put down her tea, and stretched in her chair. This was not going to get anywhere at all if all they did was engage in polite chit chat. She needed to get to know Amie; she'd obviously misjudged Amie when she had decided to dress up, that much clear. Now she was paying for it by having to be mannerly. Feth. If she wanted to be mannerly she'd have moved to Primus Gaudeo, or even directly to Midpoint. She stretched, loosening a shoulder muscle that had gone a little stiff, and then slouched a little in the chair. Not very lady like; but then almost every one in the town had missed what Andavariel was really about.

"And please do not worry about what I am used to, my friend. I am not nearly so used to fine things, or aristocrats, as some people around here might thing." Her smile was quite conspiratal as she continued "I care about people, and I believe I can help them. It just so happens that in order to do that I must appropriate the arrogance of one such of Pirvan. In order to gain the respect of someone like that, you need to act like you own the world." Her expression was pensive as she continued, not really looking at Amie's expression any more. Did she want to shock Amie at all? No, but this was the closest she could get to revealing the truth to someone she'd like to trust.

"And by acting this way, I am able to help, but it also seems to make you act as if I'm made of glass whenever you are around me."

She drummed those elegant fingers on the arms of her chair, considering how to continue. Maybe she was being too blunt now, may be she had blown it.

"I need to be able to trust you, Amie, and in order to do that I need you to trust my intentions for Frigid River."

"Hmm... not Chalmers then, that's not quite suitable... there's a place on the edge where an old friend of mine acts as the Housekeeper until someone new takes the place a Miss Miyuki. Grent should be able to deal with everything still Anda and I'm sure Miyuki won't mind at all..." Amie mused thoughtfully, knowing that while she'd have preferred knowing the Chalmers Estate was finally going to have someone Amie trusted within... it was better seeing Anda at home around her surroundings. Too many after all had died within that Estate over the centuries, too many memories and stories surrounding the place and Amie wasn't sure Anda's presence could've dispelled them anyway from town history and rumour.

Sipping from her tea as she listened, relaxing noticably against the chair finally there wasa definete smile toying about Amie's mouth. In her eyes, coloured by her own family naturally Ameilia knew Lauryl was the home of nobility where Enamorians and those Lylles elsewhere were mere Provincials rather than the real thing. Lineage distilled and sent abroad rather than trusting oneself to their home. It just seemed so fickle. Nobility was lineage, family, strength and deeds... Amie wasn't one to approve of the old Empress... Anna the Surley perhaps? Whoever developed Meritocrasy at least. It just seemed more an excuse to get rid of the corrupted and devalue the whole system for others in punishment for a future not yet developed.

Regardless though, and thanks to some aspects of Imperial Law - Lauryl was the home of the true Aristocrasy. None could feign Lylles bloodline without some serious consequences thankfully, and so none could sully their name by such unsightly behaviour.

"Not glass... glass is far too fragile an analogy Anda... think, a new babe I guess; and demeaning when uttered allowed isn't it? Unfair on you to say the least... I... overprotective in a lot of regards arn't I?" Amie mused softly with a guilty expression. "But, even newborn babes grow up and leave home some brightening don't they... normally I mean, not... " coming too close indeed to something best left avoided and steering away from such as quickly as possible. "Trust takes time Anda, you've won more than I'd have thought possible from anyone. Trust... how little I thought I once had; but trust given freely to you. Whatever the future brings, you have that and more..."

And the smile returned with renewed vigour. "Just don't make me regret it, I know these are but words but I do think you'll do good by Lauryl and the Lylles Anda... just don't make me have to suffer Grent's cursing if things go wrong; he really can be most longwinded and a bore to the ears."

Andavariel relaxed just a little. She had managed some headway. She had to do the hard work of truly proving herself to these people now, the leaders of Frigid River. That work was currently going to be pulling them and the rest of the Province through this current crisis, and there was preciously little you could do for the rest of the province in a city this small.

She would have to think on that another time though. Perhaps a visit to Zinn'sunn would be in order soon.

"I would not press that torture on anyone except perhaps that Marsilia fellow I met at that meeting a few months back." She replied, her tone slightly mirthful, although she meant no harm by the slight jibe, he had annoyed her more than a little.

"As for treating me like a babe, I suppose I could say it was a fair analogy. No matter my experience or Wisdom, I am stilly unfamiliar with something that is your lifelong home and that is very precious to you and many others that you value. I don't know how much more I can do at present, I am no warrior or real public leader."

Her gaze cast around the homely, if chaotic room. It was the sort of home that she had faint memories of, either from a past life or from the times before it had happened. She couldn't really tell. It was one of those times when the memories were vague and mingled, despite the certainty she felt in them. Something just out of reach to cold being inside as well as the warm heart of the half elf. A smile creased the skin around her lips; Amie as a Mother was the likely reason for this growing friendship between the two women. A friendship that was hopefully growing out of mutual respect, something even a dragon understood and valued.

"Protectiveness is no bad thing. It saves much, even if it costs the protector much...energy, and much in the ways of personal resources. I think I can understand that, and to be honest I would not wish to progress without some guidance. For all my talk I still feel I have much to learn from you."

Smiling, there'd been that moment where Ameilia had simply paused through fear that even a breath or chance word might've caused her house of cards to come crashing down about herself. That moment where Andavariel had every right to take offense at Ameilia's belief's and actions, and had somehow managed to come out of it unscathed. A feat in itself given Amie half expected that this house of cards could give some rather nasty papercuts if it fell just so. It certainly wasn't that Amie didn't trust Anda, but more so that she didn't trust Outsiders in general because they were often so uncivilised and irritating.

Diana knew Pirvan wasn't exactly the kind of business partner Amie wanted, but as men went he was better than most and at least seemed to care about stuff that related to himself. Better a man greedy for self benefit than one that was just greedy in general and didn't think of the consequences. Give the man a couple more decades and he'd probably settle in Frigid River as well if not better than most who'd lived here all their life - just a matter of time truely in Amie's opinion.

It wasn't like it was Anda or Pirvan's fault they'd been brought up in some unhospital and dreary Province like Arium or Centripax perhaps. Just an accident of birth while they were obviously showing the sensibilities of moving somewhere a little more accomodating and mannered.

...so... Amie was a little bit of a snob. Somethings were simply a given.

"I'd rather expend energy than see everything come crashing down... better to be wary at the beginning than have disaster prove true all because of carelessness. But... nevermind that, I'm sure you'll do fine by the Lylles and it's not all that difficult truely. Just a manner of time and care... so, besides lodging which truely should've taken care of everything's working out for you? I fear I haven't been all too attentive in the past few cycles... everything just seems to pile up whenever I step outside." Amie mused apologetically before claiming her cup of tea and sipping.

Relaxed a little now, and the main hill of the conversation truly over and done with, it was probably time to settle back into idle chit chat, or at least into the sort of female companionship that Anda had done without for far too long.

She shrugged her shoulders slightly, she couldn't think of anything really, beyond expanding her social calender a bit.

"No, I think not. I'm just looking for ways to spend my time that don't necessarily involve mindless social gatherings. I intend to learn to ride, as soon as I have settled my position here a little more. Perhaps do some research into the history of the town."

She paused to take a small bite of bread and jam, and managed to get a dollop of the stuff fall down her bodice. Perhaps the adrenaline of being so blunt with Amie was getting to her, but the accident made her giggle quite loudly, as well as swear a little absent mindedly. Mild a curse those she was, it probably wouldn't be a good idea anywhere but near her friend.

"Erm, heh, Amie....you wouldn't happen to have a cloth or something? Your jam seems to have decided to get a little, uh, too intimate with me. I really can't have that!" She joked, unable to do more than cover her giggles with one elegant hand.

"And there I was trying to be so lady like."
