Kaelon has a banner?!?!
Kaelon finally made a new banner. I'm shocked and pleased. Someone give the man a cookie. We know change is hard for some people when it comes to their own personal Aelyrian PCs/Mod Accounts. *peers at his Avatar then laughs*
Kudos to him!
I'm always happy to see people with banners, because it shows their personality and displays their creative individualism. Thank you for allowing anyone, companion or no, to have one.
OOCI posted in CW Green to throw off the scent. *is clever*

I see a bug in this already, Juan. When you edit your initial post, it shows who edits it. Cover blown.

Yes, but you were allowed to edit it only because you're a supermoderator. Users who post Anonymously will not be able to edit the "Anonymous" post (because they are not "Anonymous", the user account set up specifically for providing a cover). Not perfect, but definitely something to tinker with.
And thank you! I'm trying to interject more of the "fun Juan" and less of the "tyrannical Juan" into my everyday Aelyria.

I would assume that supermods can see who annonymous posts are made by--to deter people from annonymous flaming, etc.

hmm, and imgine with any group secrecy that should work well to sort. Since just having a breif specific title is a lil less clear in a quick browse.

Well, No and Yes. Anonymous by default really does mean Anonymous, so Supermoderators and Administrators cannot instantly see who made the Anonymous post. However, there is a tool that I can use, as Creator, to reveal the identity of who was posting using the Anonymous account, in the event of very serious abuse.
More information on this will be forthcoming in tonight's patch notes.

Nope we can't see who posted... even though we are 'supermoderators'. I'm glad to see you can't edit it once you post it.. so thats great because it makes people really THINK before they hit post. I'm also happy to see that only you, Juan, can see if you need too. I really like the privacy, but I do want everyone to know this is for CONSTRUCTIVE stuff, not for ranting and whining.
We are hoping this will generate great 'feedback' of what works and what doesn't work for the whole pbase to view. The thing is, for a long while now GMs have had the GMC to ask questions, poll others, discuss issues, get stuff off their mind, and it really helps to have those sort of 'safe' discussions among GMs. I'm sure the other teams have places to do so too.
Maybe this new forum will expand that to you folks too... regardless of being new, old, etc.
I think its also useful if we have a question section here too where new players can ask questions anonymously without feeling 'silly' or 'newbish'.

Of course, people who post in a certain way every time, even in anonymous, aren't very sneaky... Dimmy
Awesome trying to throw off the scent, Jen lmao
