Designed and developed continuously since the Summer of 1989, Aelyria is a medieval realm set amidst the backdrop of a landscape dotted by ruined castles and thriving cities, plagued by monsters and brigands, shaped by spellcraft and the gods, and plunged into political intrigue.

What is the Compendium?
The Compendium is the comprehensive tome of knowledge about Aelyria and its magical epic faerie tale setting. It consists of several different components throughout the Aelyria website and its many sections, listed below in their order of importance.

1. The Lorebook, a bound volume of categorized articles
2. The Aelyria Wiki, a collective knowledge repository and collaborative knowledgebase.
3. The Aesthetika, an area for fanfiction, artwork, prose, poetry, and music.
