Near the entrance of Little Medonia, a stone building, home to Arconis's largest and most talented jeweler, sits on the Sancta Via. Built of large towering stones, only one window allows view into the shop beyond. A stout door stands next to the window, and a sign, showing a circlet resting in the middle of a sun, hangs creakingly next to the door. The window itself shows a few pieces that had been created by the owner. They are organized in a simple pattern. A ruby necklace at one end; three bracelets, in gold, silver, and copper, at the other; and at the center contains a selection of different colored and shaped gems.
Despite its stony exterior, the inside of the shop is worlds different, being warm and inviting. The store extends much farther back then it first appears. Glass cases form a sort of square. Couches sit at the center, allowing guests to sit while waiting for the perfect piece to be found or to ask the owner about a purchase. Little stools sit next to the glass cases. They are full of previously made items that are carefully laid out. In the center case are the various materials produced by the Arconian mines. Uncut gems of various shapes and sizes are placed artistically around the central case. Hel's Bright had always pride itself on staying with the latest styles and using the gems that came out of Arconis's mines. Arconis is the shop's home and the owner is proud to use native sources.
Behind the back counter are two doors, one next to each wall. The one to the left leads to the back room where the workshops are located. Down a set of stairs leads to the store room. The one to the right leads to the upper floor, where the owner's apartment is located. Another set of stairs leads to the basement where two rooms are placed for the apprentices should they need residence.
As a customer walks into the store, a bell tinkles, causing the owner or one of his two apprentices to step forward from behind the counter. The owner is Vestra Pasronta, a human of medium build with long fingers that seemed to dance in the air. Behind him, between the doors, stood a portrait of the artist Vestra, one of Arconis’s historical premier artist and an ancestor on Pasronta's mother’s side. Next to the portrait was a sign with prices.

The problem with this is Arconis already has Phedran's Glimmer and she is known far and wide for her jewelry-making skills so to say "Arconis’s largest and most talented jeweler." isn't quite right... or accurate, rather. And this business would suffer a lot of competition with Phedran's Glimmer.

I would condense a lot of this with Spoiler tags - right now everything is just oooone big long list and makes it sort of 'eh' I don't want to read all this
Also, the green is a bit much on the eyes.
Lastly, there's a lot of grammatical work that could be done with this, but I don't know how much that really matters. There's a lot of sentence structure that is off. Up to you on how much you want someone to tear into your set up
It would be really nice to have a material list thats unique and not taken directly from another jewelry store in the game.. namely mine. Mine was not taken from anywhere in the game but developed independently. Thats the same with my price list. As it is, it reads exactly the same, with some tiny additions... even the format. Thats annoying. I'm not a subscriber to imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Thank you for altering the price list slightly before you used it, but again, it might be nice to have a more unique price list as to not copy existing locations so much.
It would also be nice to have been asked before you used it.
Mai - I was asked by Mimesis to create this. I also expected that their would be competition in a town by a gem mine *shrugs*. Also considering the state of Arconis the only remaining shop owners would be the ones who were among the best.
Iseult - is that color better, and how do you do the coding for the spoiler tags
Vickyia - While I did take base list from your shop list their was several hours of editing done to the items list (the gem list though only had a couple edits), a number of things were added and taken off, but I have taken it off to make you feel better.

I have also changed prices to how I have seen local jewelers to figure out prices. Based on the price of a Troy ounce of gold or what ever metals. Most things are only a few troy ounces. This way it opens the window for making what ever is requested. Working on gems prices though. Thinking of deviding them into the common, rare and ultra rare. With gems moving between one and another price categorpy is its in greater demand.
*shrugs*

Mai is right, I'll have to say that that was my bad, because I completely forgot about Phedran's Glimmer. Still, two jewelers should be ok - if I may sneak out of my own faux pas - if their areas of expertise are different... Phedran's is also an antique shop, so I would suggest spinning Hel's Jewelers as a modern and innovative jewelry shop, who are particularly good at working with the products of the Arconian mines. If you could put that in somewhere in the writeup, that would be lovely.
I like the way the price list is done now, Leopold. There are a few grammar things that need to be fixed up as well. So... no major major changes...!
I'm unsure about the current price list. It neglects some important factors such as how much actual pieces of jewelery would weigh (which is a finicky matter and most likely variable), and then also varying levels of detail and intricacy that would be employed for crafting different pieces of jewelery.
Perhaps a list of offered pieces of jewelery with base prices and then modifiers for (detail/metal/cut of stones/etc) would be something advantageous? I say this because right now it would take a lot of guessing by mods to determine prices and such and some might be way out there or something without a predetermined method of calculating prices.
Looking good otherwise.

Its more based on how jewelers who actually make their own jewelery (and don't have it premade before ever seeing it) base their prices.
What I am actually working on is getting my hands on a ounce scale and makeing an ooc list for mods (and myself) about what a average item weights, and then it can be modified from there to help avoid confussion, also I was guessing, since Leopold will be working there I would be the one doing most of the responding so that would help with consistance, and even with a base price list if the items are subject to change their will be inconsistance, so with the ooc base weight list that should help.
