A letter from the former township of Tearsfall - now the new township of Trysvale - made it's way to the Lieutenant Governor's office by fastest courier.

To Her Excellency the Lt. Governor of Carmelyn

Early Spring, Era XIV

My Lady Lieutenant Governor,
Matters of provincial import have recently come to light concerning our township and the village of Terenshire specifically. These are a series of letters, brought up from the depths of the ocean during a fishing expedition, from the corespondence of Emperor Constantine and one Sir Roger Trysvale. In return for saving his life, the Emperor granted Sir Trysvale and his descendants dominion over the lands currently occupied by our township and Terenshire in perpetuity.

In light of these discoveries his Lord Thane Lyr Tlansson has officially renamed the township Trysvale, as you may already have heard from a herald article drafted on the subject. The matter of the village of Terenshire is yet to be settled, however. These new incontrovertable discoveries have shown that, historically, said village is rightly under the dominion of the township of Trysvale. A delegation is in the process of being collected to Terenshire, but all final decisions awayt your approval to be set in motion. The Trysvale Letters, should you wish to observe their authenticity, are temporarily being housed at the home of Lord Lyr Tlansson.

Timestamp: the break of the brightening, the first of Autumn in Era XIV Post Fractum.

It was odd how many letters Diana could recieve from Trysvale, but as it stood another messenger -- this one garbed to hint that he worked at the Constabulary -- arrived bearing a letter sealed with crimson wax. It held the symbol of two lions, boht fighting over a crown. It was the Seal of the House Leonardes. It was addressed to the Lt. Governor and his or her staff. The letter was written in long, cursive Charismean:

To Her Excellency the Lieutenant Governor of Province Carmelyn.

Greetings,

A strange fate has fallen on your humble lands to the west as of late. The Lady Protector, Glory, and her forsaken trio has turned Trysvale into a place of increasing uncertainty and conflict. She has attempted to outlaw Arcana, further preventing the local druids to aid the farmers among other irrational policies.

Her arrogance was best displayed during the sudden and sweeping evacuation of Trysvale in mid-summer. Those who refused to leave their family plots and businesses were either driven away by her personal militia or sent to the Goal where they remained for undeserved periods of time.

I sent this letter in hopes to call attention to the Governor and her staff to seek another candidate for the position. Myself.

I am Straylor Felix Leonard, a Medonian by blood, but a Trysvallian at heart. I ask only for audience, a formal application, for the seat of Thane of Trysvale. Lady Glory has done nothing to improve the welfare of Trysvallians and I, as current Chief Constable, wish to serve and protect my friends and family better.

I shall arrive in Diana no later than mid-Imperos. I hope this letter finds you all in good health.
