Summer of XII post Fractrum
Ioannese first brightening.

The heart of the Church of the Sacred Three was crowded as the faithful gathered. Many were heart broken to hear of the Regents desions. Many wonder why the choose to side with a church that leader had locked her self away in her villa.

The heads of the Church hadn't called any gatherings and had been locked away in confrences for several days. The Legions had positioned themselves around the complex to prevent any rioting and to keep the peace. Many watched nervously. It was not so much the actual faithful but the taunters around the complex that made them nervous.

The Church of Sacred Three said they were ready to make an announcement to the people in the area. The aged dorian who seemed to be aging more then ever came forward to stand before the people. His aged steps seemed some how appropriate forr everyone.

"We will except the ruling of the Regent. I will travel to the Imperial Capital in person as per it request to work towards the bringing all the true faithful back, let all of use join in prayer that the Regent heart will be open to true union and not forced union."

He motioned for all to kneel down as they prepared to pray.

Dante made his way through the followers of the Church of the Sacred Three with mixed emotions. He had barely found out about the Regents proclomation when he was asked to write an article on it. He brimmed with excitement over his new task while still holding some feelings of suspicion for those who had followed the church of faith in the first place. He reminded himself he was only here to report the news and that he needed to keep an unbiased opinion. He took out his writing quill and paper and began writing down as much as he could, settling for abrreviations on some points to try to keep up with all the action.

When the aged Dorian motioned for prayer, Dante joined in. After all they all worshipped the same dieties they simply had a different idea of how the church should be ran and who the heirarchy should be filled with.

“Great Ioanese, Beloved Diana, and Might Aslan.

We send this pray today to thee. We thank the for the blessing you have bestowed upon us in our brightenings. We thank thee for this Empire which you appointed unto us so that we may have peace and prosperity. We call down blessings upon the Empire. Especially in this time. We ask for wisdom upon the Regent. Milo L’Evienne. At this time he and his staff seek to unit the faithful.”

The dorians face was serene as he continued to pray. The priest and prelates around him also had bowed there heads in prayer. The silence from the crowed was only interrupted by the countered mockery coming from outside the compound. “We ask to bless him with an open heart to hear the complaints of the faithful. We ask thee to bless his with wisdom that will be needed for the trials ahead.”

The prayer continued on for the next five minutes expressing the heart felt feelings of the crowed. Finally the aged dorian came towards the conclusion. “Again we pray that for blessing upon the faithful that they will have the needed strength in this time of trial.” The dorians voiced as silent as he allowed every one there quiet moment for prayer.

Dante's heart echoed the feelings of the Dorian's words. He silently prayed that the end of this division within the church would lead to a peaceful and heartfelt reunion. He had been persecuted his whole life and had come to expect it, but most of these people, he assumed, hadn't so he prayed for them to have the strength to withstand whatever trials may come their way.

The doran voice once again rose over the crowd and he said. "I depart for Alleria Prime according to the summons to of the Regent." He said indicating to the east. "I wish for your prayers as we go forth and pray for him to honestly be seeking truth." He paused for a moment longer he seemed aged before the crowed and it was only a moment but the eternities seemed to be passing by in that pause.

"Please return to your homes." The dorian said. "We will contiune to make our preperations." With that he stepped back and returned into the temple. The crowded didn't depart though. Most stayed and watched, and that was it they watched. It seemed as if they were relying on each other for support.

A few departed thought and the moving bodies seemed to inspire a whisper among the crowded. It wasn't anything against thoughts moving, it was hushed and reverant whisper that filled the square.

Dante waited with the crowd he wasn't about to leave. If nothing else this will make for a good follow up to his story on the church's reunification. He wasn't within the crowd, but he felt he was one with them. His prayers went up with the rest of the faithful.

He paused for a moment. A sudden thought struck him, "maybe I should tail the dorian? Perhaps I could get an interview?" Almost excitedly he made his way towards the temple entrance.
