Ledome felt her knees grow wobbly as she put her all into the dispel, and something hard hit her on the rear. Confusion cleared and she realized that she was now sitting on the floor. Morning Glory flew quickly to her side.

"Are you alright!? You did very well with your dispelling, but you got rather too enthusiastic! It is not necessary to clean out your reserves like that, but you certainly did get the right idea. I can't exactly help you up, but I will get you some food."

Morning Glory sent Ledome home in the company of a custodian from the college, a rather nice man named Watcombe, who was strong enough to lend her all the support necessary. Over the coming days, Ledome learned all the rest of the Mystic spells, including three taught only in Demios.

Soothe she had already learned, the other two were:

Distraction- a spell that triggered the imagination of the target, making him believe he'd seen something suspicious in the direction of the caster's choice. The nature of the supposed suspicious activity was provided by the mind of the target.

Message. While casting this spell, the caster can speak up to 7 words while touching an object. These words will be heard by the next person to touch the object, although eventually the magic will fade if the object went untouched.

When Ledome had cast all the spells to Morning Glory's satisfaction, she opened a tiny bottle of champagne, and poured Ledome a small glass of it.

"Congratulations! You are now a Mystic! Don't be too naughty with it."

Secrets :
Congratulations! Ledome has earned +2XP in Mysticism and the rank or Initiate!

Ledome Balorenge is an upstanding Citizen
When she could think straight again, Ledome found herself lying at the floor and Miss Morning Glory's worried face flowing in front of her. She had done something wrong again, hadn't she? Blushing a little, she felt embarrassment filling her head.

But upon hearing the words 'very well', her expression brightened up a little. So she had done everything right, but just overdone the whole process. That was a reasonable cause for her lying at the floor, she thought. She sighed in both relief and annoyance and replied: "I'm alright. Thank you." Still she couldn't walk for a while and gladly accepted the food and help the faerie organized.

The next few brightenings she learned how to control her power and respect her limits. The remaining few spells she practiced with a more reasonable share of enthusiasm. They intrigued her, especially the message one since she thought that it could be useful as well as funny.

At their last brightening, when Miss Morning Glory claimed that the lessons were finished, she was speechless. It was real, she was able to use magic now! At that moment it seemed like a huge success to her - having gone so far and finally getting something back!

Beaming, she accepted a glass from Miss Morning Glory's liquor. Well, the beam faded as soon as she took the first sip. Since she had never tried champagne before, the taste was quite ... extraordinary. But this was a brightening of celebration, and she would enjoy it!

At the end of the brightening Ledome smiled at her instructor and thanked her for everything she had done. "You have been a wonderful teacher, and I hope we'll meet again some brightening. Perhaps when I'll return for learning the next spells." Chuckling a bit, she left the small office.
