"Welcome to the Leap of Faith! Try out Flame Tongue, it'll burn your throat, make your cheeks rouge and your belly burn till you cry for your mama!"
The largest inn and tavern of Demios provided entertainment, drinks, merriment, and adequate lodgings for all its patrons. A raised stage stood in the back of the tavern area for entertainers: bards, jugglers, and poets. On occasion, bored patrons gave a shot at telling tales of their latest wench conquests and tales of dragons. Loud, raucous, and merry, the Leap of Faith's dining room is always crowded and full of noisy, happy customers.
The second floor of the Leap of Faith consisted of twelve rooms, with one suite room for the occasional wealthy patron. The prices were fair, and despite the raucous environment downstairs, the rooms were clean and safe.
For the hungry customer, there was a stack of oily, dog-eared menus on a teeny tiny pedestal near the entrance. A friendly sign next to them read: SEAT YOURSELF! Once this was done, waitresses in matching white and blue uniforms tended to every patron's needs.
Bluloo, a Lutran with flaming red britches served drinks at the bar. "Care for a Fire Tongue? Or need a room? Ask Helgga over there," said Bluloo before he pointed to a large blond lady with bloodshot eyes and more muscles than a mare.

The search and walk to the Leap of Faith was minimal and by the time he arrived, Straylor greeted each member of the staff aimicably before venturing toward the counter. He was tempted at first to get the deluxe suite but his order of business required some discretion, at least in the eyes of the public. "A comoner's room for two brightenings please" he said in mellow tones. He slipped the banknotes that appropriated the sum correctly and some extra. "For my meals" he offered smartly.
Recieving the keys for his room, Stray trotted up the stairs. For a traveller he had very little luggage, just a leather back pack and his weapons. But while he traversed the stairs he was already looking for a particular room, one that wasn't his. He had an appearance to make, after all, and orders to give. After that, he could induldge in some rest and perhaps re-charge the imbuements he used that brightening.
The half Elf made her way to the reception and with a polite smile showing upon her blood shaded lips she greeted the receptionist before placing her request. "I would like a commoner's room for a cycle, though it could be longer depending upon business." Auer awaited word of the charge and placed the thirty crowns upon the counter with extra crown included. "My horse will need stabling at well."
The business was her sister and as the half Elf awaited the key to pass hands she pondered whether she would ask if Elmaryia Grey Leonard was staying at the inn. Pressing her lips together, the light skinned creature thought better of it as the receptionist turned back to her with the key. Upon hearing directions to the room Auer thanked her and made her way there with her travel bag resting upon her slender pale shoulder, her Aelyria Hunter trailing behind her and the alluring thought of a bath taking prominence on her mind.
The Leap of Faith was Ashandra's first stop upon entering the city of Demios, and she sighed as she entered the noisy tavern. A few quick words from the barkeep later, and she found herself being directed to a rather large blonde woman, at least twice her size.
"I'd like to be purchasin' a room, if'n ye please. The Deluxe Suite for one cycle." Once money had exchanged hands, with a generous tip for the older woman, Ashandra accepted the key to her new room, along with directions on how to get there.
A quick smile and wave later found her leaving the noisy common room, only to stop a few steps away from the woman. "Oh! Also, if I could have a bath drawn up immediately? I'd like to get the dust from the road washed away as quickly as possible."
Tossing another of her quirky grins the woman's way, Ashandra continued her earlier path out of the common room, and toward her suite.
Bladewyn made her way to The Leap of Faith from the city gates with little trouble, thanks to the friendly guard's directions. On the way she'd had a chance to glimpse at the city briefly, at it seemed like it would be a wonderful place to spend her time away.
As she walked through the doors, the smell of the tavern's delicious food made her stomach grumble, but her mind was on exploring the town. She thanked the Lutran at the door and approached the large blonde woman behind the counter.
"Serale, Helgga? I'd like a commoner's room for a cycle, please."
The woman glanced up at Bladewyn before noting the transaction in her log. "Thirty crowns, miss." Bladewyn's stomach chose that moment to give another large rumble, and she grinned in apology. Helgga laughed, and the floor beneath Bladewyn's feet seemed to shake. "You're skinny as a rail, girl! Sit down and have a bite while we draw your bath, won't you?"
Bladewyn eyed the menu briefly, then agreed with a smile. The cup of soup and sandwich that she chose warmed her to the bones, and it was a very fulfilled Bladewyn that went up to her room for a brief rest before exploring the island.
Jeromaine stepped in through the door, and allowed his eyes to adjust to the darkness inside the smoky tavern. The noise was considerable, considering it was mid afternoon. There were no less then two dozen patrons sitting at various tables through out the establishment.
The burly fighter soon found what he was looking for. The bar was half crowded, and behind it stood a big blond woman, who could easily compete with him in terms of muscularity. Jeromaine made his way to the bar, and sat on a stool.
"I have heard a drink called the 'Flame Tongue' is a specialty not to be missed while in Demios." he said as he caught the eye of the big woman. She nodded and quickly pulled out a glass. Quicker then her size would predict, the woman had the drink made, and slid it down to Jeromaine at the end of the bar.
"Down the hatch!" he called as he took the drink and tossed it to the back of his throat. Within a second his arm hair stood on end as he did his best to keep the firy concoction down.
"By the Gods!" Jeromaine said, though it was half-whispered as his voice was temporarily out of commission. He shook his head, let out a gutteral laugh, and then motioned to the keep.

Re: Rainbow's End Orphanage
Serale and greetings,
I have purchased, today, two buildings in Demios. I have plans for one of them to become an orphanage, which I shall call Rainbow's End Orphanage and Home, whilst the other I am planning on turning into a food kitchen and healing centre for the poor of Demios.
I am funding both of these privately, and would like to ask you for your help. I foresee a large influx of people with regard to both of these, and so I am asking for your help. I am asking for a regular monthly donation to this cause, which I would receive most gratefully. If there should be a possibility of this, then I would be happy to discuss the situation with you.
